The last time i updated my skin was on Yochan's 43rd birthday, and a year had passed. I'm glad that his surgery went fine and i hope he's recovering well. Don't neglect your therapy, Yochan, and hope to see you next year in China ^^

A fan of JRock music and bands. Most favourite band of all time: the legendary band, X Japan.
Loves its leader, drummer, pianist and main composer, Hayashi Yoshiki , usually called Yoshiki.
Loves one of X's guitarists, Matsumoto hideto, or usually called hide, and
one of the best vocalist I've ever heard, Deyama Toshimitsu, or usually called Toshi.
there was a point of time whereby Avex did a little campaign for tohoshinki and they released a series singles-solo every 2 weeks or so consecutively, each single contain one song by the group and one solo song of the member.
the first one that i researched on was, of course, Yoochun's. it's called Runaway/My Girlfriend, the latter being chun's solo. it has a jazzy, r&b feel, relaxed and easy like yoochun, and somehow gives off the lounge-ish aura, and i really like it =) and, being his solo, yoochuns showed off all the characteristic of his singing style like i described here. his sweet, light singing, husky whispers, growls and wails all within 4 minutes.
yoochun wrote the lyrics for My Girlfriend. of course, being yoochun, it's all in english. and for months, now, i've been listening to it while bathing and i dare say that i can sing about 80% of the song by just listening to him singing.
...though, i really didn't pay attention to what i sung.
(i have the tendency to just sing without actually realising the lyrics that pass through my lips. it happened a lot of times when i sit back and started paying attention to a song which i've been singing for years and then just realising that the song was actually telling this kind of story.)
but just now, i stumbled upon the instrumental version of My Girlfriend, and i wanted to sing it properly. so i fished out the lyrics.
... and suddenly i couldn't sing the song anymore

of course, this is the infamous "gingerbread-man's vitality" song of yoochun. but i've gotten used to singing that part without laughing! i could even explain the reasoning behind this, erm unique choice of words of yoochun to hany the other day. honestly, i am past laughing at gingerbread-man's vitality for quite some time now.
but i didn't realise that there are other....trapholes... all throughout the song...
i guess i'll just sing by memory of what i heard (or i thought i heard) yoochun sang xD reading the lyrics is a bit too much for the time being xD sorry chun-bb~
i'm loving my nobocchi's multi-touch touchpad. you know sometimes people have different font size in their blog or journal? with multi-touch touchpad, adjusting the size of the text to suit my miopic tendency is so easy. just a swipe (or two, still trying to adjust myself to its sensitivity, or the lack of it) and voila, no more screwing up my eyes or squinting down while trying to read texts.
with their Music Core performance, i can now say that i've memorised all 13 members of SuJu and am now able to pick out faces and match it with their names. kinda. donghae still eludes my radar sometime and i keep mixing him up with kyuhyun
so when i counted (had to actually pause and do manual headcount because there are too many of them to count at a single glance) and discovered that there were only 9 of them, i ticked the off-members from my fingers:
- kibum -> expected. i haven't seen him with any suju activities since forever o.O
- kangin -> i guess he's still out on probation after that incident of hitting someone when he was drunk?
- hangkyung -> with the lawsuit news all over the media, it's only natural that he's out
which leaves....one member whom i duno o.O so i watched the clip til the end and try to guess who was it that's not there. initially i thought yesung, but nearing the end of the performance i spotted him (man he look real good in that performance)
and by the end of the performance, i still haven't spotted the royal highness heechul.
but why wasn't heecul in the performance???
if the rumour surrounding hangkyung's lawsuit was true, then it should be yesung, leeteuk, donghae, eunhyuk and kangin who weren't there. but they were all there (with exception of kangin) and it's heechul who's missing... o.O? someone tell me what's going on here.
but the appearance of those people in the rumour (donghae, eunhyuk, leeteuk, yesung) for the performance just kinda put the rumour as just rumour, huh? v_v
then again, SME could be hiding it for now just so that they could get away with all the year-end performances before breaking the official news, or something, or they could have already solved their disagreement for all we know and have settled their contracts already
so much drama, i don't know how to react to all these "happenings" .__.

i was shaking my head as i heard him handling the topic in a mixture of common-sense, idol charm and sensibility and a tad of bluntness that is very changmin.

he's the magnae in the group, but, truth be told, he's the oldest son and grandchild. so it was hard for him to transform into a magnae character because he's been the oldest all his life, and suddenly he has 4 hyungs. he's an introvert, but everyone's changing him to become more open-minded. he admit of being irritating and like to purposely annoy his hyungs, but everyone around will always defend him xD and that's the good thing.

now, the serious thing. about fans. the part that made me look at him in awe and admiration for the depth of thought he had put into it. of course, being idol, he had to be tactful and not offend the fans, so he really said it in a very roundabout way.
"because of their love for us, or to put this in a deeper manner, we actually have no way to be responsible for them (their lives). they stand outide the hostel, suffering from the cold just to catch a glimpse of us... although we are very thankful towads the fans for liking us, they sacrificed their own time, sacrificed the good memories of being a good student, in order to like us, i feel that it is a little unfortunate.
although singers are only formed from the fans support, but everyone has their own lives. not giving up on what you deserve, do well in things that you should do, and then come back to love us, that will be good enough. maybe we're a little greedy but i wish our fans will do that. this is what i want to say as a fdongsang and an oppa. (that means this message is for younger fans as well as older fans alike)"
get it? there's a little bit of beating around the bush, but essentially the gist of his speech is that:
"we are very grateful for your support, but when it goes beyond normal supporting and you crossed the boundaries and started putting in a lot more efforts into liking us instead of focusing in your own lives and what you should be doing, we feel regretful. please think of your life first, do well in life while support us at the same time, that's what we wish all our fans to do."
i couldn't believe that he's actually trying to talk to the fans and discouraging them from being too obsessed. i mean, he's just 20 when this interview was done, and everyone in johnnys (whom i know) never raised this topic like he did. everyone (johnnys) will usually just thank the fans, ask them to take care of their health, and to continue supporting them from now onwards. NOT asking them to divide our time wisely in our own lives and fandom lives.
changminnie THE magnae. my admiration on him just increased about 100%.
it's still early and there hasn't been confirmation from Korea yet, but i'll just indulge myself in the rumour til it's proven wrong.

oh, only about 2 of the largest boybands in korea (TVXQ and Super Junior) and about 3+1+5 guys out of 5+13 who were suing SME for termination of their exclusive contract.
that's 9 guys out of 18, SME, half of your stars aren't happy with you. i wonder if SHINee and Girls Generation gonna follow suit.

what i love about them is how they embrace all these networking with open arms instead of restricting membership for fanclubs and stuff. initially when they haven't gone major, it was a good publicity tool. i'm glad that even after going major they're still updating and stuff.
they released the 30-sec preview for all songs in Jubilee on their MySpace, all revamped and new. not much difference, except for a new photoshoot and the obvious absence of Jasmine-You ;__; RIP yuu-san...
their music is still very Versailles. since this is a major album, they have included the previous singles songs inside too, like Prince&Princess (it comes with a new name, i'm not sure if it's Prince song or Princess song) and Ascendead Master. but it's alright. even if they release a mini album like Lyrical Sympathy, i don't think i'll be complaining.
though maybe i kinda miss the darkness and vicousness of teru's style that seemed to be absent from the album? i just hope not. the only song that sound promising is "God Palace - Methof of Inheritance". now that's something that sound like it belongs with Ascendead Master, Aristrocat's Symphony and Love From A Dead Orchestra, all my favourites.
one song that stood out the most was Reminiscence. it sounds much like a christmas song i kinda hoped that they would release the full song about now xD
aaahhh i can't wait!!!! i wanna hear all the songs now!!! xD but i'm ordering this together with Break Out, which means i would most probably get it in February ;___; sigh....
DNBN has annouced Seoul Miroticon DVD as well as Star Trading Card (that was reportedly have been receiving good sales together with SNSD's), are two items that are being included in the boycotting movement.
i really shouldn't be surprised, huh?
of course, since this movement is completely voluntary, they're just posting it up so that Bigeast and International Cassies know about it.
and, considering my current financial situation, i'm so absolutely and happily STILL joining the boycott.
yes, i'll be dying for that Dating On Earth DVD (yoochun acting in a movie?? as a lead actor??? ghahhh, must see!!!!) but maybe the Break Out Project is more important at the moment.
...especially seeing that their contract with Avex is expiring next June. we just have to convince Avex that THSK, 2009's third highest earner after Arashi and Exile, deserves to be kept in the company despite of what's happening with SME!!

- as much as the community congratulate them for having 4 spots in the top 50, i see that THSK still has a long way to go, their highest position being at number 21 (SBU)
- then again, i looked at the whole list and (with the exception of someone with JAY'ed, whom i don't know who but he could be a foreigner?), i see that they're the only non-japanese up there. aaaand, i checked last year's ranking, and they were nowhere to be found on the top 50 list. so, with those in mind, to have 4 spots in the list this year is already a massive achievement, ne?
- this is truly arashi's golden year. having all 4 singles they released this year within the top 5 spot is truly amazing.
(- makes me wonder if they put any kind of effort in the other groups at all... i mean, NEWS only has one single this year! wth is that?? -_- and, last year they have 20 positions in the top 50, 12 of them up in the top 25, but this year i only spotted a measly 15 in the whole entire top 50, though 10 of them are in the top 25. and 4 of them are all arashi's.)

yesterday someone posted the "recommended songlist" for performers of Kouhaku Utagassen, and for THSK it was listed: Sennen Koi no Uta and Share The World.
my immediate reaction was: WHAT??? hell NO!!!!! i want them to sing Bolero!!
and apparently many posters before me said similar thing. i think we unanimously agree that we want either Bolero or, at the very least, SBU for Koukaku.
so, seeing the Bolero single at the bottom there made me sad. i mean, it was released waaay earlier in the year, it contains excellent songs, ALL of the songs inside are awesome, and why such a low salescount? i don't understand....
but anyway, having said all that, i'm very pleased with their total sales ranking. congratulations at number 3, Tohoshinki! may next year be an even better year. avex, Matsuura-san, we're counting on you!

i think i like this version better than the cd+DvD version, which focus started from Yunho all the way to Junsu instead. but i'm pretty curious about the content of the DVD, so i think i'm gonna get both version for this.
one of their dancers blogged last night, saying that they would be shooting an MV today. wish them the best for the MV. I hope it would be as cool as Mirotic, or, at the very least, Survivor. sometimes i get scared when it comes to their japanese MVs, coz the i think the coreography for their korean MVs are much more daring, sophisticated and wow-inducing =/
last week i stumbled upon SYTYCD on AXN, it was performance by twitch and kherington. i kinda liked it, but there's one among the judge whom i really hate (i hate her voice more than i hate sharapova's yells during her matches) so i moved on to other channel.
surprisingly when i switched back, it was the turn of the next couple. and, man, i love this couple's dance. it was contemporary, it was haunting, it was beautiful! and then i watched enough of the judging to know the coreographer, mia michaels.
and i continued watching. and apparently mia coreographed for another couple that night, and i managed to catch it again. this time, it as twitch and kherington couple. maannn, by their turn, i really really like this coreographer already.
due to my limited knowledge of the progression of SYTYCD, i only know 2 couples, and both were the ones who did mia michaels's that night, katee-joshua and twitch-kherington.
now juuust now, i watched the following episode. and, surprise, mia was one of the judges! =DD oooh i really like her voice, she sound very sincere, calm, and her voice is sexy xD lol! i think i'm in love with her hair too xDDD
twitch-kherington was still cool tonight, but i agreed that kherington seemed out of energy half of the krump. and the next dance didn't elicit a "wow" reaction from me. in fact, only 2 pairs managed to elicit that "wow" reaction from me just now.
one of them were katee-joshua with the bollywood dance, manz that was awesome!!! really awesome!!! =DDD i was highly entertained and i thought they did great job at it! katee's facial expression was simply delightful, i really like her ^_^
and the other couple is.... *googled a bit* *gasps* -i'm watching season FOUR??? and now they're at season 6???? talk about being late, axn... - courtney-gev! they were the one who did a really cute broadway the previous night and they wowed me with their tango tonight.
anyway, to my great surprise twitch-kherington was among the danger couple tonight. i watched their solos while watching Pops in Seoul and Showbiz Extra in Arirang, but i'm glad i caught their solos.
which reminded me of something: i think i watched it when kherington was being auditioned 0__0 i remembered that her dance was very captivating, and she did a little ankle flick that nigel just loved ^^ please tell me if it's really her or did i mistake it for someone else?
and, twitch, man, i love him. i love his movement, he's awesome! 0___0 i really can't accept if they're being kicked out..
and luckily they didn't. *whew*

when this series came up like last year, i started to hear about it from people in the community. one by one there would be people who commented about how good it is and from the way they described it, it really sounded so exciting and thrilling.
but somehow or another, i didn't really start hunting it down. could be because i thought that if it's such a good dorama, i should really focus my attention on it and appreciate it well. but due to the circumstances, i thought that i wasn't ready to spend energy to watch a serious dorama. instead, i started looking for Scrap Teacher episode which i thought would be able to give me some entertainment in the on and off basis and i wouldn't feel guilty for watching any ol' how.
was very, very shocked to hear that they didn't really win some good awards in the dorama awards, coz i really expected it to be really good. after Scrap Teacher winning them down (and i remembered how bad scrap teacher really is....), i kinda lost interest in the dorama.
but obachan managed to pique my interest again. and so, i hunt it down and started watching.
Warning: MAJOR SPOILER~! don't read if you have not watched the dorama and don't want to know the storyline.
summary: let me say that this dorama had become the major letdown of all doramas i've watched this year. i mean, i've had so much expectations for it! and you can see from the comments that i typed down (i always keep a notepad open while i watch, to jot down a comment or two) that it just got worse and worse with each episode. it got SO BAD until i had to forcefully tell myself to STOP THINKING while watching and just accept whatever stuff they throw at me with open mind and no question. i managed to finish watching the dorama with this mentality, if not i would feel too intellectually insulted to be able to continue watching the last 5 episodes of the series. and when i did that, you can visibly see that i started picking on totally irrelevant things to comment about, like the prettiness of the actress, or something else.
i thought i was being harsh for Liar Game, but compared to this, Liar Game is absolutely great.
the first thing that i noted down was the character of Kirishima → he's the do-S teacher from Yamada Tarou Monogatari! =D i remember him! he look very good here, so cool, somewhat reminds me of sho-kun ^^ and i remember one of the female guards as the Oneesan in Uta no Onisan! right? right? ^^ but their characters were so serious in this dorama i barely recognised them at all.
now the main character here, takagi fujimaru, or miura haruma? is unknown to me. i know that he's supposedly famous and cute, i think hany's been swooning over him for sometime since Sky of Love or something. but i really have never seen him in any dorama before, so this would be my first time watching his acting. and i must say that i'm very satisfied. he's good =)
and i definitely love his lil sis, haruka. omg she's sooooo prettyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy *_____________* like totally!!! i still duno her name, but i really really really think that she's one of the cutest japanese actresses i've ever seen *___________________*
you know what, i don't think i can be bothered rewriting my comment regarding this dorama. i'll just cut and paste from my notepad. you can see my reaction as i watch each episode. please pardon the increasingly-harsh words coz i got increasingly irritated and annoyed with the whole thing -_- especially the part regarding gun usage, like BIG SHEEESHH -____-.....
here's my play-by-play comments, read at your own risk.
episode 1 i admit that the female biology teacher is verrrry pretty. but i've seen her playing such roles TWICE, the flirty type that seemed cheap and dangerous, it's not a very good image you know. i wonder what's her name... but fujimaru peeping to look at her skirt in the office is a bit cute xD
i think he's a pretty good actor =) somehow i feel that his acting is believable and not too fake, and i think i can grow to like him =) he has a pair of clear bright eyes that's pretty attractive. and the little sister is soooo pretty *______* kinda reminds me of chinen, but she's much more prettier of course ^^
i can be pretty much sure that that idiotic police who can do nothing but sprout profanities and mocking and empty bullshit from his mouth while blaming people at every other breath he exhales is the one character that i will hate the most in this dorama. i usually don't have much problem with the main bad guys. usually it's the good guys who are stupid beyond belief and hinder the work of the main character that becomes the main target of my hatred in a dorama =P
i've been thinking, the name of the organiscation, Third-i, it sounds kinda weird. wouldn't it be better if it's Third-Eye instead? it's like a secret organisation that oversees whatever not usually seen, thus the implication of a third eye to help with the ither 2 eyes that human posses? -_- just a thought though.
alright i change my mind. just dont let me catch that irritating ojisan say something along the lines of blaming other people for whatever problem they have again.

sigh. first they coerced and blackmailed him to helping them. and because he helped them, he became a target by the terrorist. and he and his sister's safety fell into jeopardy because of it. then they failed to protect him and his sister. and he went on protecting his sister which was the only reason he would do any sort of sacrifices at all. and when he protected his sister, THEY CALL HIM SELFISH????? effing imbeciles, really, shit-face ojisan.
fujimaru has really beautiful long and slender fingers 0_0 other than hacker, i think those fingers are meant to be for pianist xD go the second chiaki-senpai! xD (while i like kirishima better than the other old f*ker with a face like shit kano-san, i have a nagging feeling that kirishima might not be what he seem he is... it's believable to suspect that he's the spy inside Third-eye though i have no basis for that at all =/)
"we'll amputate your arm" -> what's the use of amputing the arm when the blood has gone through all over the body? baka jyan? this dorama is not as precise and clever as i thought it is -_-...
that person. the little butler brother, he's exuding so much johnnys aura i can't even believe that he's not in the agency! xD
while dealing with a fatal virus with no cure, it's absolutely unthinkable to WANT to be in the same room with the infected person. not making sense at all. i'm thinking twice about recommending this dorama to my cousin -_-

i'm getting moe irked with third-eye more and moe every episode, esoecially that shit-face moron with the brain of a shrimp.
ah! i know this guy! the one who always play somewhat lecherous guy in Wannabe Gigolo with Oguri Shun! and he's in honey and clover too, if i'm not wrong. haven't finished watching honey and clover, and not really interested... maybe i should finish watching meichan no shitsuji, at home dad, uta no oniisan and love shuffle before catching up on honey and clover. gee, so many doramas that i leave halfway through. not my fault, they fail to keep my interest til the end =/ but in the case of uta no oniisan and meichan no shitsuji, it's because i was lazy to wait for the weekly release, that's why i didn't contoinue ^^;; bad me...
that kirishima, in yamadatarou monogatari i already thought that he's cool and can be veryy interesting, and here i think he's really quite good looking. i wonder if he had played a lead role before... i'll be interested to watch it. he looked a little bit like sho-kun, but with more weight in his acting, of course =p
effing idiot. you don;t want her to confuse fujimaru, then why the heck not you shut her mouth? what's the use of a duct tape if it's not for something like this? bakaaa
and, like, they're approaching the base of the terrorist. they don't know anything at all about this terrorist, and they're approaching its base, and the first thing that they do is to follow the order of a captured terrorist. isn't that stupid or what halloo??? what do you plan to achieve with only 2 people???? attacking the base of a terrorist with only 2 bloody people, 1 captured terrorist and 1 boy who was really included just because the terrorist ask him to. this is really quite idiotically stupid and demeaning the watchers' IQ... sheesh....

episode 5 okay, i promise that, in order not to be increasingly bias and miss the whole point of the dorama, i'll reduce my snarkiness, gloss over impossible bits, and try to enjoy the story as much as i can without fussing much over the logical aspect of it. yosh, here goes the 5th episode.
im sorry for breaking that promise just merely 11 minutes into the story, but i just cannot NOT stare at something inside kirishima's right nostril.... XDDD what the heck is that??
*glosses over the past half an hour worth of questionable plot* i really do like haruka *_* she's so pretty ^___^ and fujimaru while being with her is amusingly snarky xD
i think if i snoop a little out there, i will be able to find otoyaxfujimaru fanfics, ne? that's what i think, coz otoya's character is..kinda perfect for that =p and he's actually pretty pretty when he's not being snarky (and his disadvantage in height is not being pushed) like in meichan no shitsuji xD

renewing my promise not to try to think too much and just to enjoy the show as much as possible.
kirishima has a pair of huge beautiful eyes *___* but i've never seen him in an expression that fully utilise and fully exerts the beauty of those eyes yet. quite a pity, ne? (i'm typing this while watching the shooting exchange. and while i'm at it, let me just register what a powerful laptop fujimaru has, i mean in terms of battery life. i always see him carrying it everywhere, unplugged. MY own laptop is said to have strong battery life, and yet it can't last longer than 4 hours++ without charging. i wanna know what brand is his laptop...)
the typing laptop is bloody annoying in the least. i mean the typewriter words.
and i just realised that fujimaru's features are really similar to gackt... 0__0 his lips, cheekbones, jawline...
bloody professor lost his mind due to too many chemical fimes he had inhaled. "exterminating bloody X is my mission, that's why i have to spread bloody X throughout the world" doesn't make the bloody hell of a sense for me and i'm a fluent english speaker.

language story
just continuing the language story from obachan's blog.
recently i've been going to the hospital a lot, accompanying my aunt visiting different doctors. and it's only then did i realise fully the importance of language as a communication tool.
my aunt, just like my dad, has a mother tongue of hokkian. and because of the environment they lived in, they also speak hakka. they are also chinese-educated. but due to the fact that mandarin was banned in indo several decades ago, my dad only finished schooling til primary 5 and my aunt even lower. still, she continued to read newspaper and learn mandarin from there. and, because we live in indo, they speak indonesian too.
*counts with fingers* that's 4 bloody languages they know! and without paying much money over tuition and stuff too!
going back to the tales of my aunt. we visited at least 2 doctors everytime she's here. both of them happen to be hokkian. so, this revelation about the importance of language came down upon me as i sit there listening to their conversation.
first, they would start off in hokkian, my aunt being more comfortable in hokkian after all. then, along the way somewhere in the middle, the doctors would switch into mandarin and the conversation would, more often than not, ended up in mandarin.
now those 2 languages are the 2 that i've touched upon in the past but didn't really try to consciously master. well, in the case of mandarin, yes i was learning it for 1 and a half years in penang, but haven't been touching it til pretty recently. and hokkian, i only started learning it after i started studying abroad. in fact i learned it first from my indo friends in penang, most of them from Medan and, man, they ALL speak hokkian, the medanese. my mom, realising her mistake of not teaching it to us since we were young, started force-feeding us with the language soon after that.
so, as i sat there listening to the explanation given in both hokkian and mandarin, and only manage to understand about 80% of what's being said, i made up my mind: that i will NOT regret spending this one and a half year in beijing. i think it's very exciting to know a lot of languages. granted, some are harder to grasp than others, but i think knowing an additional language would give us a much better edge than those who don't.
besides, knowing that china has such a long history and rich culture, once i manage to read better, i hope i would have a great time in their library.
i opened the community page with apprehension and anxiety because i was afraid of what bad news it might contain. quoting Discovery Channel's "Gone in Seconds": things can go bad fast, and it can go from bad to worse even faster =p
but luckily nothing bad had really happened in these 4 days. apart from fans realising that JCS and HM are not allowed to appear together other than for work, which is evident from the way they went back to Korea and came back to Japan separately like before Big Hits Festival.
they appeared in FNS Kayousai, sang 2 songs and had a short interview together with SMAP.
Stand By U sounded....different. i think yoochun sounded better than many other SBU performances, he nailed his parts really well and doesn't sound like he's barking out the lyrics ^^
i think what made the biggest difference is the accompanying music. there's alive band, complete with strings and piano. something is different and for me this version of SBU stood out from the others.
i had hoped that they would perform Bolero instead of SBU though. true, Bolero was included in The Secret Code album and some might think it's an old song. but it's still their strongest song this year, imo, even though not their strongest-selling single. let's just hope they sing it for Kouhaku ^^
anyway, the community is trying to cheer up the fandom and posted a video that's titled, "why dbsk will disband".
from the title alone, it radiated negative aura and i imagined myself giving lengthy lecture to the creator.
but actually, nooo, it was worth to be watched. it's so short, but actually managed to make me laugh til i teared up xD!! watch this!

and while we're on the subject of parody/fanmade videos, this is another hilarious one, made with Rising Sun MV. the genius thing about this is how the creator made full use of the timing of the randomly-spouted Ennglish words to make the story even more funny (coz you think that they're really singing about that xD) and how changmin's being singled out in this MV because he has 2 solo parts whereby he gave mighty wails ^^
and wondering is something that i often find myself doing at the most random of times.
i wonder if there's anything out there waiting for me.
people could talk earnestly about subjects that they like, but how often would you find people who shares the same passion as you and can hold serious and prolonged discussion with you? and how often do you find yourself in the middle of a conversation that SHOULD BE your forte but you find yourself shaking your head in ignorance more often than nodding your head or offering an opinion?
kinda makes you wonder if you've been wasting your time studying, no?
life is a wonder. and wondering is something that people should always be allowed to do.
not everything in life comes with a crystal-clear and clean-cut answer. the older we get, the more options we get in life. the line between right and wrong blurs and at the end of the day what matter is the consequences of the actions we take. we can take the path that nobody has ever trodden on before, and if that's how we want to live our lives, so be it.
the hardest thing is to beat down those who stand up in front of you, point their fingers down your face and whisper behind your back, saying that what you're doing is wrong and lamenting about the -supposed- loss of glory of your life.
like as if you should care.
it's your life. live it like you want it to. after all, they're not running your life; you do.
and yet, at 23, it's not that easy determining how you want to live your life. what's left are hopes and dreams, and parents who are pushing you to take in a little bit more off their retirement money so that you have a little bit more capital in the future, the precious all-currency capital that's called knowledge.
some says not everyone uses up their knowledge in the future. but i believe that in undertaking the task of discovering life's wonder, knowledge is crucial.
life's a wonder and it's sitting out there waiting for you to unveil it in your own special ways.

about: Yochan underwent a surgery to correct his spine, a problem that had persisted since 1995, when he finally started to feel numbness in his fingers. the surgery went fine, thank goodness. hopefully he will recover completely and it doesn't affect his piano playing. as for drums...don't forget your neck braces everytime you drums, yochan!

Featuring: Versailles
Background: formed in 2007 by founding member Kamijo (ex Lareine) and Hizaki (ex Sulfuric Acid), they released their debut single Revenant Choir which tells a story about a clan.
Just as like Kamijo's past works, Versailles tells a story through their symphonic metal music and extravagantly elaborate costumes inspired from antique European era.
Members: Kamijo (vocals), Hizaki (guitar), Teru (guitar), Jasmine-You (bass), Yuki (drums)
etc: Versailles beautiful music managed to win my heart totally. saddened by the loss of Jasmine-YOU in 2009, but i hope the 4 of them will still make great music from now onwards. rest in peace, Jasmine-YOU, and watch out for the guys from up there...
