yes. yes! YES!! death note is building up its suspense again at the 96-97th chapter! i was reading the chapters leading to it with increasing breathlessness... Near! he knows Near!! ha! ha! i'm a Kira supporter, alright, and whatever Near does, i always hope that Raito knows it too! goodnes... Mikami is as much a genius as Raito, dear Near, do you really think he WON'T know?? and even though your level is not below of L himself, you are alone! up to the time when Mello would start helping you again, which i think in time he will, and by that time, there are TWO genius-es on each side! but, bear this in mind, Raito had won once! and i pray to God, ergh, more like to obata takeshi and ooba tsugumi, that he does it again! Labels: manga anime
the 97th chapter itself was really thrilling. i just wish they'd hurry up with the continuation... it's at the climax!! it's really the showtime! i mean, THE showtime! the final battle of raito,mikami vs near, mello. prove yourself smarter than them, raitokun! mikamikun! xD indeed my heart was beating fast at the end of chapter 97. too bad it ends there for now... *sigh*
okay, i'm mad. sorry, i just can't help it. death note is one of my favourite manga, and eventhough at times i get exaperated due to their tend-to-lag storyline, i live for these thrilling moments when both side prepare themselves to confront each other boldly. the winner is the one with more foresight than the other, of course, and, just like Jody Santemilion (Meitantei Conan) says: it's very, very exciting! xD
anyway. READ DEATH NOTE!!! xD

this video is funny ^^ i know that the domoto brothers show with gackt is always a fun video to watch. this one is particularly nice, coz Esumi Makiko is the guest. gackt has that 'hungry' look on his face almost all the time O.O but i guess i know why. they talked about the parts of woman that he likes the most, and he said it's the collarbone...and the spine... and some other parts that is not subbed v.v of course, makiko is so tall and slender, eh, gackt? xP and then later on while they were talking about the subject of secret habit, gackt said that he likes to observe women necks and wanted to break them O.o!!!!!! and all the while looking, or staring more like, at esumi makiko...........................................'s neck! freaky!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but funny nevertheless xD
i laughed particularly hard when makiko asked koichi about his first kiss, and koichi pointed at tsuyoshi, and makiko looked at tsuyoshi, then tsuyoshi pointed back at koichi xD eh sorry, i got the name mixed up, should be she looked at tsuyoshi first and tsuyoshi pointed at koichi, who pointed back at tsuyoshi. at first i thought they were asking the others to answer first, but then the subtitles came and they were saying that they were each other's first kiss!!!!!!!!!! OMG XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
watch it, really funny xD
death note chapter 94-97 has arrived! *reading*

visited minghui's baby some days ago, she's such a cutie xD can't believe that minghui's a mother now, in fact soon-to-be a mother of two o.O i seem to recall very clearly those days when she and i share the same view about kids and baby: love them when they're smiling, don't love them when they're crying. i guess people do change, and i'm glad that she did coz she seem very happy with her husband and baby ^^
there's a new map in maplesea, did i update about that? i guess not. it's called aquaworld, and it is so much like mario bros world 5 or whatever number that sea world is. the difference is of course the monsters and music. the new world is so so so FUN!! xD can't get tired of it. well, maybe soon, but i'm planning to do my training here as long as i can. why, the monsters give fabulous drops! so far i got several gold ores, a diamond ore and some magic rocks o.O nice, isn't it? xD
i really like ouran high host club manga! it's hilarious xD not even yuu watase mangas can make me laugh so often like this manga. but to be able to fully like it, you'll have to have a mild tolerance towards yaoi and exaggeratingly-over-cute guys and impossibly-thick girls who went gaga over these guys o.O i do, and so i find it so entertaining xD if you think you met the above-mentioned criteria, go and read the manga! it's FUN! xD
anyway, i'm putting my hopes on edmond now to be able to read the continuation of black cat and yakitate... please mond, don't let me down!!
i'm 8/10 done with my portfolio. most of them are coloured! i'm so proud of my achievement. to be able to move on from a scared-to-colours person to a person who created 6 out of 10 of her portfolio with coloured pencils within 2 weeks, i'll call it an achievement ^_^ too bad i don't have enough courage to start experimenting with pastels, crayons, water colour, arcylic or whatyouhaveit. next time, perhaps, ne...

resume with maple training. now that my connection is fabulous *compared to back at home in jkt* i've started doing the difficult quests like the cursed doll quest T__T current favourite map: Monkey Swamp III! why, the place is so secluded and difficult to reach i get the place for myself almost all the time! not to mention that the only monsters around there were zombie lupins and jr neckis! i need the cursed dolls for quest and jr necki skin is one of the hottest stuff around, always in demand, them. i've sold nearly 200 of them and made quite a profit too =)
started doing coloured portfolio. i don't like colouring... today finished 3 drawings, 2 of them ae satisfactory while the last one was like a piece of junk >.< i must be careful on my selection of colour next time.
i'm stuck at Yakitate chapter 138 coz mangadownload does not have the continuous chapter... can anyone please send the continuous chapters to me??? souhaku scans have more of them, but i can't open the page *sobs*
my tiki package is still not delivered. if by tomorrow they still haven't come, i'll give them hell...

i've just finished watching Midori no Hibi the anime. to tell the truth, initially i had no intention to watch the anime when it was being showed on Animax. for one thing, i really really detest anime which are dubbed rather than subbed. the idea of hearing those anime characters speaking awkward-sounding english conversation is too much to bear. for another, i was in the middle of reading the manga version, so i thought that it would be enough. Labels: manga anime
who knows that the anime and manga have different storyline... i finished reading all 6 volumes of Midori no Hibi and i don't like the ending!!!!!! it's too sad!!! ;____; so i asked my friend who have watched the anime, and he said that it was happy-ending! THUS i began searching for the anime version and found it.
not only the ending is different, the anime version also lack of characters which, i think, quite important in bringing both seiji-kun and midori-chan together: the quiet girl, makinoha, and her psychotic doctor of a father who tried to saw *gergaji* midori off seiji O.O!!! but with only 13 episodes, i guess they don't have the space or time to put in these 2 characters ne?
nevertheless, now i'm satisfied ^^ the story is so sweet that i really don't want it to be bad-ending like the one in the manga version.
talking about a sweet story with bad-ending, yuu watase's Zettai Kareshi's ending is also not too happy, ne? i hope when they make the anime they'll change the ending to make it happier for all three of soshi, night and *what's the girl name?* yeah, ringo or riiko or whatever xD i have something for yuu watase's hero, but not the heroine ^^;;;

~learning outside classroom~
lesson 1: it takes more than an hour for the bus 196 to make a trip to La Salle SIA from Clementi near the stadium T_T i was hoping to save some money by taking the 2-transport (bus-bus) route from my house to la salle instead of the usual 2-transport (bus-mrt-bus) when i took 963 to clementi and changed to 196. not only it takes a long time for 963 to come (as usual) the trip on 196 itself took more than an hour!! goodness... i went out of my house at 4, thinking that i'll be 30 minutes early from the closing time of the office in la salle, and this thing happened, geez. luckily i arrived exactly at 5.30pm on the dot! i was managed to submit my application form and the needed documents.
the person told me a good news: i have the option not to get interviewed and just pass on my portfolio to them to be assessed. good! now i don't have to worry about having to come back here just for the interview. but, my portfolio has to be submitted by next week >.< time to get cracking on it...
lesson 2: people likes to fart inside bus! >.< in the past 2 days alone i've encountered more than 3 such incident... disgusting! they must start putting the sign "NO FARTING! FINE $!000" inside buses!!!! >.< *shudders*
i went to NTU Jap Fest a few days ago. the event was small, not as crowded as the D'Japan party last year, obviously, but was pretty interesting. i bought a new handphone strap, a very pretty black strap with blood red swarovski pendant ^^ nata immediately recognised one of the girls at the booth as last year's shinya cosplayer and she asked me to approached her and asked if it's true and started saying *again* that she wanted to take pic with the white mana ^^;;; but the white Mana is not around nat! next cosplay event surely got some other mana around! ^^ anyway i confirmed that she was the last year's shinya, and she even gave me her site add. if you wanna buy some cosplay costume or gothic lolita stuff go to: http://miwitch.com or http://drsaru.com. i understand that the 2 websites are under different people, but they're nice online-shops for gothic lolita fans =)
anyway, i've catch up *finally* with the da Vinci Code epidemic. the book is interesting, but i don't know what's the big fuss about it o.O it's like, okay so the so-called 'fact' in the story may seem rather shocking, or blasphemous for the christian, or out-of-this-world for some other, but surely you can't take it seriously. i mean, this is a fiction book for goodness sake... i don't think that this book is the most enganging book that i've read though, but maybe that's because i was reading rather too fast (finished reading in 2 days)...
i want to know when is the next cosplay festival date!!! so that i know whether i'd miss it or not ;___;

i'm retracting any bad or so-so comments that i made earlier on about Yakitate Japan. now i really like this manga!! apart from azuma who's so adorable, i really really really like pierrot a lot!!! and the storyline is really good too, it's not your usual eat-and-get-extraordinary-reaction kind of manga, it has more depth and such a touching story!! nearing the end of the manga pierrot-chan made me wanna cry, and then made me laugh, and cry again, and laugh again, and then cry again, and then laugh again, simultaneously within a single chapter... i absolutely love the story!! PIERROTCHAN FOREVER!!!! xD he's number 3 fave manga character after Train Heartnet and Yagami Raito-kun! ^________________^ Labels: manga anime
and yeah, additional merit for Yakitate Japan is: they offer so much food&nutrition info that i'd recommend F&N students to read the manga and take notes ^^
alright, the first few chapters may not be so different from Born To Cook (i wonder if there are people who still remembers the mang/anime) but the development of the storyline come slowly. but i can guarantee that you'll like it ^^
*goes off chasing a hyper pierrotchan*

had dinner today with some Jawry mates, my first 3 months OG. papaya, rene, joyce and me and the 'king' for the day jay =p catch up with news from each other, papaya is doing some belly dancing course which xiafung wanted to take and she's doing some attachment programme in her 2nd year, joyce is still working in suntec, rene is waiting for his boss to pay for her salary, jay is looking like a boiled crab more than ever xD
had just realised something, actually i seldom wear clothes which are rather tight-fiting, and thus the impression that my friends get if i wear such clothes is: i lose weight o.O i wore one of the t-shirt which Dania's mom (was my 'mentor-guardian' assigned by st marg's last time) bought for my birthday, and it's not as loose as my normal L-sized t-shirt, and rene said that i lost some weight... maybe she'd be interested to know that i actually gained weight this past months >.< i should watch more closely what i wear, ne?
anyway jay had been telling me how he wrote for his little columns on the application forms and made me regret that i didn't elaborate more on my little essay. *sigh* nothing i can do now, i can't retract it back, but i do hope that one of them would accept me. gosh, what would i do to make that dream come true..
still haven't applied for la salle. just now i went all the way to kallang just to find that the office had already closed. i missed it by half an hour >.< ouch... but tomorrow i'll definitely make sure i'll submit in the form.
my TIKI package is still not here yet >.< manz, just don't they misplace it, my portfolio is inside, and without it i can say goodbye to la salle application...
tried to look for coloured-stick in kino just now, but couldn't find any. went to art friend or whatever that shop called in taka and still couldn't find. but i found out the thing called pastel. it's very interesting! but i can't afford to buy them, each stick is quite expensive leh ;_;
i went to kino to look for Black Cat, and i have good news and bad news and good news.
the good news is: Black Cat is already been sold! 1st volume is alreasy up! was sooo darn happy when i saw it. Death Note is apparently also being released in english and i saw them too!
the happiness last about 5 seconds, until i turn it over and get a good look at the price tag. then i started scouting over all Viz comics to observe the pricing. and, man, what a nightmare...
Viz comics are being sold at approximately S$15-19 per book! if compared to Chuang Yi comics which are just a mee 7.90bucks, i feel sooooo grateful towards chuang yi... and that is the bad news, the sky-high price of Viz-licensec mangas.
BUT, even if i'm reluctant to say this, VIZ is definitely very impressive in conquering the manga industry in singapore. why, it has licensed more than half of the mangas that i know, and Kino's manga section is becoming LARGER than ever, with the number of mangas increaing like mad since the last time i went there half a year ago...
all kind of comics that you can think of is there; black cat, death note, slam dunk, vagabond, negi magi, xxxholic, x/1999, tsubasa chronicle, detective loki, detective loki ragnarok, saiyuki, saiyuki reload, bleach, ranma 1/2, slayer whatever it is, even saint seiya!! goodness me, i wonder if they're gonna start releasing Candy Candy or Sailor Moon... too bad detective conan is sill not there, ne? i would hope that they would release Rose of Versailles too! ^^ the olden-days manga~
so that's the good news, that singapore has become a heaven for manga lovers, thanks to VIZ, of course, for most of the mangas that are being sold in kino are released by them. all kind of manga imaginable is there... but of course, at a very high price... but they have Black Cat!!!!!!!!! goodness.... i can't possibly spend a 15bucks on a comic book!! not when the series would go on until volume 20!!! HELP!!!!!! someone beg VIZ to reduce their pricetag!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2 words:
Amazing Asia!
or, rather more honestly: X Japan, J Rock, Visual Kei, yoshiki hide... i'm just kidding ^^
the JRock scene may be the first influence, and the most important one too, of me starting to take notice of that contry eastern of Korea. but, i happen to be living on the litle-red-dot of a country which is the home of one of my favourite TV Channel: Channel News Asia, and they have this little programme, which showtime is scattered all over the day, called Amazing Asia.
as its name implies, Amazing Asia is about anything exra ordinary, event or situation or scenery or whatever that you can think of, about countries in Asia. and throuh by watching this programme, my love towards Japan grew.
if some other countries, for example China, were featured more for its industrial achievement, for of course they are the world fastest-growing economy, Japan is often featured for its green-industry achievement. so far they are the only country that i know which uses ice cube, saved from winter snow in the size that can fill the whole of your garage, to act as a 'cooling agent' and to cool the whole house throughout summer so as to cut down the use of air-conditioner. i had just watched one company which convert egg-shells into useful substances like wall-lining material.
basically, since they had passed the period of time where economic growth is everything, the country, as a whole, had started to focus more on production of materials which are environmentally friendly and green technology, and i just love watching those innovations which are ingenious as well as good for the Earth.
maybe the reason why i love Amazing Asia so much is because they often features Japan... which leads me to liking Channel News Asia too... and i subconsciously always turn to it in the hope of catching Amazing Asia programme featuring Japan as i channel-hope the television o.O
anyway i just regret the fact that CNA doesn't offer its contents in malay language, or the fact that my dad doesn't understand english. at home (Jakarta) i was constantly being given a lecture which titled as: Amazing China, by my dad. for my dad, China is everything, and everything is China. well this doesn't sit well for me which had been adoring Japan for 4 years now, so if there's a chance, i would sometime rebutt him. but i have very little chance of showing him how good japan is, for he always turn on china-channels (i have cabels at home) and read chinese newspaper whileas i don't turn on to CNA very much back home for fear of monopolsing the TV (my parents don't understand english) *sigh*
the only thing i can do for now is: constantly pushing for a vacation to japan ^^ since the last vacation my parents took was to china and my mom suffered from the extremely bad food through half of the journey, i am confident, and told them so, that they will love the japanese cuisine, i know i had when i went there 5 years ago, and that was before i became a japan-fanatic like i am now =P
anyway, nata asked me to go to NTU today for some japan-activities at the campus. she mentioned about taking pictures with yukata but was unsure of other activities which would be present. no problemo, obachan~ anything for anything japanese =p
talking about japan-fanatic, i'm very proud to announce a new member into our japan-maniac-club (among me and my friends, of course) and she's none other than: Rhesa!! thanks to Gacchan, she's now speaking broken japanese much better and more frequent than me and nata had ever done XD and i understand less than half of what she said in her sms-es! haha, welcome to the club, sa!! ^_____________^

says that i got CDE -> Bio, Chem and Math respectively. can't call it good, i was especially disappointed with my Bio marks, thought that i should at least get a B. but it shows that i'm not quite fit to pursue life science ne. bio had disappointed me twice, so it's time to turn my head towards something else. Labels: school
no feelings of jubilance, of course, but i was quite prepared for this. some of my friends get bad results, and they didn't know what to do or where to go or what uni will receive them; i consider myself luckier than them for even if my result is bad i have a new goal in life. some other friends of mine got good results and they didn't know what course they wanna take; i still consider myself more lucky than them for i am already pretty sure of the direction that i want to take.
it seems like it's quite too late to say this, but i want to start living my own life. i want to make my dreams and my happiness the priority of my life, for that is what will make me happy. i hope. of course my parents still matter to me a lot, but living my life for me may bring more success than living my life for them, ne? i'm sorry that i had made them disappointed, but this will be the one time when they will be, for in the future there won't be other time like this.
on my way home, i made my 4th poem *the first 3 were dedicated for Mr Panda* and i wanted to show shamane ^^ until next time we met then, sha!

featuring: Yoshiki
about: Yochan underwent a surgery to correct his spine, a problem that had persisted since 1995, when he finally started to feel numbness in his fingers. the surgery went fine, thank goodness. hopefully he will recover completely and it doesn't affect his piano playing. as for drums...don't forget your neck braces everytime you drums, yochan!
etc: read below xD i've made too many layouts featuring Yoshiki i don't wish to repeat myself =P

Featuring: Versailles
Background: formed in 2007 by founding member Kamijo (ex Lareine) and Hizaki (ex Sulfuric Acid), they released their debut single Revenant Choir which tells a story about a clan.
Just as like Kamijo's past works, Versailles tells a story through their symphonic metal music and extravagantly elaborate costumes inspired from antique European era.
Members: Kamijo (vocals), Hizaki (guitar), Teru (guitar), Jasmine-You (bass), Yuki (drums)
etc: Versailles beautiful music managed to win my heart totally. saddened by the loss of Jasmine-YOU in 2009, but i hope the 4 of them will still make great music from now onwards. rest in peace, Jasmine-YOU, and watch out for the guys from up there...

featuring: S.K.I.N.
Background: Formed in 2007, performed first during Anime Expo at the States in May.
Members: Yoshiki (drums, piano, guitar), Gackt (vocal, piano), Sugizo (guitar, violin), Miyavi (guitar, shamisen)
etc: ekkusu phase 2.0 was lost because i didn't save it in photobucket (because it refused to upload it properly).
and so, from now i'll start my skin from phase .1 instead of .0

Model's background: manga character (Eyeshield 21)
More about the model: quarterback of Deimon Devilbats, The Commander From Hell;
the backbone and the brain behind Deimon High School's American Football Club, The Deimon Devilbats.

More about the model: the faint background picture of Yoshiki was taken in the recent years when he's already cut his hair short and
