The last time i updated my skin was on Yochan's 43rd birthday, and a year had passed. I'm glad that his surgery went fine and i hope he's recovering well. Don't neglect your therapy, Yochan, and hope to see you next year in China ^^

there's a current wave of writing your own "how did i get into yyy" in the news_nippon community. of course, being a NEWS community, more or less it'd end up on how they got into NEWS. but i've read several interesting ones whereby they started with some other groups and then to NEWS, and some were like me, started with JRock before moving on to the fandom, and some had quite sad and depressing start (like me before X Japan) and they told us how they got on with life...
...and so, perhaps you would've guessed this, but, i will write mine and post it up in the community too ^^ something to look forward to in the weekend.
*waves* hellow from Linc! my house is looking like a "warehouse after a warehouse sale", an improvement than the previous state of "storage room" ^^ at least it's cleaner and more stuff had been packed, leaving small little things everywhere =p
school had been....*bleah* well, it's slowly and slowly turning into a nightmare. with all the toiles that we have to finish within a week, developments that still have to be done and designs that have to be chosen, i'm really getting quite scared to go to school... but other than that, it's still the same ol' schedule. school by 10, home by 11 *sighs* that place is really my home now. and it just gave me another round of sore-throat *bleahh* i HATE the dust!!!!
yesterday something amusing happened. i won't use real names in case someone stumbles upon this, but i'll subtitute it. me, pl, vs and bc were going to have dinner. before entering the lift, ap appeared and it seemed like we would meet inside the lift. i knew about vs's "condition", but i didn't know about bc at all. so, while i'm quite comfortable around ap (though without my and me, it's kinda weird too, coz usually he usually talked to the both of them), the atmosphere inside the lift was super tension-ed and awkward...
and i understood a little bit more about einstein's theory of relativity xD
he attempted some conversation, and ps replied him, and i was trying to be polite and normal to him because vs just turned her back on him. i was trying to fight against the awkwardness and asked him, "where are you going?" and he simply said, "home"... and somehow someone started laughing, and ap was like bewildered, "??? why is she laughing?" and it was directed at me and ps. at that time i was still facing him and still fighting not to laugh... so i just said, "don't mind her" and the lift door just opened and i didn't think anyone heard me, and we just rushed outside, vs clinging to me and ap standing beside the door so that we could leave first.
bc and vs walked SO fast in front and they both didn't turn their heads, so they didn't know that me and ps were like so far behind xD
so amusing =P i could never, in front of someone that i like, act embarrassed or what, coz it's a dead giveaway that i like him. so, it's either i'll give him a cold shoulder, or i just act normal (read: quiet) and let other people talk to him xD
the next time we see him again, i don't know what to say xD
and when we were going up, the both of them were like talking about him in relation to another one o.O (<--i'm not making much sense, i know but) i said, "one is gay and the other one's married..." and bc was like, "must you put it so bluntly like that..." xD and vs was like, "maybe i'm attracted to forbidden love?" L!O!L! xDDDDD
so, from now i'm gonna call her FL xDDD "hey, lover!" LOOL! xDDDD
every year there would be something to remember the year with. if last year was..... erm, me buying loads of chinese new years decorations for the first time and decorating my house with it (and not getting a complaint from toosan ^^, this year will be memorable because my cousin lost a tremendous amount of weight and, i swear, he looked almost like yuricchi O.O
hany, of course, disagreed, and even koko said a firm, "no" when i showed yuricchi's pic. if you see only the facial features and compare them directly, maybe they don't look too similar, but when i saw him at that first glance (after many, many months), the first person who flew into my mind was yuricchi!! he's got that sweetish face, if you know what i mean, and almost similar way of smiling. since young i always remember him with that cutesy-chubby face, but now that he's lost that freakin 13kg, i almost couldn't recognise him! O.O
so, my chinese-new-year resolution this year is: not to lose to my cousin xD he's like about my weight!! but of course many many cm taller -___- somehow, one way or another, i must lose some weight =P
so, i'll be flying back tonight, and spend my official 2nd night in my new place. the current condition of my place is quite horrible, messy and open boxes and luggages everywhere, and my room is just like the storage room (literally) with CDs and books piling up everywhere (how did i manage to accumulate so much????), but we'll live it through, somehow =p
the first thing that i have to do is, of course, to assemble the comp. i need to write my essay which i haven't started and it's due tomorrow, oops~ i've written bits and pieces on my journal, of course, but it's assembling them that would take time.
and after that, i'm gonna start on a new habit of checking the net once every 2 days or something, and i'm talking about my LJ. i think it's the perfect time to make this change, coz the comp will be outside from now on, and i will need all my strength and energy to make it into the 5th week. so, once i reach home at night, i should beat myself into the bed instead playing computer, and sleep, and thus wake up early and go to school earlier.
life after chinese new year: ...goodness, 5 toiles within 8 days, can i make it??????? sounds impossible, but it doesn't matter, i just have to make it -___-
another gratitude to newshfan for translating and subbing Kei-chan's hanamaru cafe segment ^0^ just as expected of kei-chan who hosts Shounen Club monthly, Hi! Hey! Say! weekly and also has his own weekly radio show, he talk a LOT and really well too. the conversation was smooth and really flowing, even yamapi's frequent appearance in hanamaru cafe has never been as relaxed and amusing as kei-chan's ^^
i'm gonna comment on each part of the show, so those who have not watched it, warning: spoilers!
the show started by them introducing someone whom, apprently, is part of the Shounen Club, but also happens to have a position in Hanamaru Cafe too: Tottsu. i have no idea who he is, but watching him and kei-chan bantering back and forth so casually like that, for a moment i wondered if i had watched a re-worked Shounen Club show by mistake xDD they definitely brought in a LOT of johnny-ism into hanamaru cafe that morning.
kei-chan started with NEWS pictures, when they went to Hawaii for another Russ-K CM filming, and he was asked to comment on each member. the comment that he gave for massu, yamapi and shige were quite common, them being "my pace" kind of person (massu), passionate about work (yamapi) and really close and feels more like friend than just another group member (shige). i was especially touched when he said that yamapi often said that "i'm glad that i'm in NEWS" or something =) sasuga yamapi desu ne.
ryo-chan, too, was still portrayed in his "strict but gentle" person, though kei-chan gave us new cases in which ryo is like such ^^ and kei-chan confirmed tesshi's declaration that ryo is the backstage leader, as opposed to yamapi's frontstage leader. in SCP, tesshi used the term "bancho", but here kei-chan used the term "kage no riida" (shadow-leader) =)
the most interesting comment, for me, was about tesshi. yes, we know that he's the brat, the "harmlessly self-centered" gakki who talk from the top, and stuff like such. but from kei-chan, we were shown another side of tesshi: the manipulative tesshi ^o^ "i think he knows that i'll do things for him" <--- LOL! kei-chan is really funny! i kept laughing when he talked about tesshi. in early part of NEWS, ryo-chan doted on him, deshou? now he seemed to find another one who dotes on him: kei-chan xD "it's annoying, but he really is adorable" ^0^ so the 3 older NEWS member apparently hold important roles: leader (yamapi), shadow-leader (ryo-chan) and okasan (kei-chan) xD lol, koyamama ^^
when the members were asked to state 3 of kei-chan's charms, the ONLY person who stated exactly 3 was tesshi xD others were like only 2, or 1 (lol, yamapi!!) and ryo-chan brought a little bit of SC in by saying "single-eyelid" xD kei-chan protesting over that was funny xD coz initially he was the one who said that he's proud of his eyes, of his single-eyelid ^^
and about points that kei-chan should improve...xD yamapi might be trying to be nice by saying "nai" (none), but it DOES have vague meaning. initially i thought that he was so kind, "woow, yamapi doesn't have anything bad to say about kei-chan" to omoimasu... but kei-chan perceived it differently xD
kei-chan's mom has beautiful handwriting! or so apparently xD i don't understand much about calligraphy, but her handwriting does seemed more cursive, in a really cool way, than usual japanese handwriting i've seen. and, i was literally dropping my jaw when kei-chan said that she's into X Japan as well!!! OMG!!! xDDDDDDDD kei-chan barged into her mom doing the X jump on the sofa early in the morning!!! LOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!!! kei-chan no okasan, SUGOI!!!! xDDDDDD
seeing kei-chan doing the mini X jump (to imitate his mom) is THE highlight of this show XD
amot talked about his mom being his best friend, i guess it's somewhat similar to kei-chan's situation, ne? =) ii na...
someone in the community had said something like, "if kei-chan is your boyrfriend, be prepared to protect him, not to be protected by him" =P this came out around the time when the clip of kei-chan hosting Hi! Hey! Say came, the episode when they brought in the person who was in charge of a haunted house into the studio and set up the studio to be a haunted house. kei-chan literally jumped during one particularly shocking moment! but, now kei-chan's taking karate, so he must have been more reliable now, ne kei-chan? ^^
and then there's the story of koyashige trip to New York. we get to see the (in)famous bed where they both slept xD LOL! look at those pillows being stacked up between their own pillows xD
btw kei-chan brought in tremendously a LOT of pictures! usually yamapi only brought 3, perhaps it's the minimum number of pictures, but kei-chan brought like *counts* 5! not to mention other pictures that were used to compliment the pictures that were pasted up xD i think there were more than 10 =P
and about his new butai Call. when i met up with sha, i asked her again about that movie in sec 4 that she vehemently advised me not to watch, and i asked her to refresh my mind about the storyline. i just realised, after she retold her story, that the story is different from kei-chan's butai xD kei-chan's butai "Call" is based on the movie called Phone Booth while sha watched the movie called Liberty Stands Still. both of them has really similar setting, if you read the corresponding webpages, the main character is taken hostage at an open space (phone booth and hotdog cart respectively) and a sniper is aiming at them, ready to shoot.
i'll be free June onwards, i hope they would stage up another butai for anyone after that ^^ or, better still, another tour! Autumn tour!! xD lol...
i just read that kat-tun will be having 7-day tokyo dome tour v__v 55,000x7=385,000 people would be attending. sugoi desu ne....... it would end a day before my birthday.
well i didn't have time to blog about it but, ladies and gentlemen, i have moved officially to my new place =) things are still hectic and the house looked worse than it had ever been xD but we'll make it through the semester, somehow, i guess =P
yesterday we had talks with the TaFF people about the "incubator" plan for graduating designers and help them create their own labels. i think everyone would know the sponsor, a very well known name: Parco. *personally i knew them because yochan made a CM with them a few years back but* they're the one who developed Bugis Junction =) their plans for the Millenia Walk sounds really good and the incubator plan was exciting! even my teachers are excited about it. AP said that they've been talking about this plan since he graduated, which was 10 freakin years ago xD but now the idea seem the most solid and they have concrete support and plan, so things are looking extremely good (though the economy seems extremely bad in comparison) we've had 3 different people talking about different sections of the plan, the aims, the area planned for this incubator and stuff, and it does seem really exciting!
...until i heard about the number of students they would be taking. 10-12 students is not a big number, especially when the pool is from all 4 schools (LASALLE, NAFA, RDI and TP). i was hoping that it would be bigger, but i realised that they can't possibly have such a big capital to devote to us, even when they have the government's backing v_v it was so exciting, but now i'm feeling kinda down too...
the recruitment would be around august, after the graduate showcase they would be announcing it, i guess. currently i don't have much time thinking specifically about it, but i'll aim my goal towards it, somehow...
for the moment, i'll focus my attention to my designs, toiles and thesis, goodness me, thesis...
how am i gonna write another 2000 words on a chinese new year weekend??? gee -___-
i'm usually healthy most of the time, but when i'm unwell, i'd feel terrible >__<> and the 'sickness' that i get the most is sore-throat that usually affects my ears too. dang, hate it! right now i'll just blog a little bit before hitting the bed eventhough i'm supposed to produce some developments for LR tomorrow, aarghhhhh
anyway i want to talk about kei-chan's appearance in hanamaru cafe. i think this is in conjuction with his butai "Call". like usual in hanamaru cafe, the guests bring photos and they would be asked to talk about those in the show (something like show and tell) this time kei-chan brought a pic from their recent CM shooting in hawaii and proceeded to talk about each member.
sorry but my listening comprehension is really quite at an embarrassing level, but from what i got, he described massu as "yasashii", yamapi as "atsui" and "kakkoi", shige as "kazoku-mitai na kanji", tegonyan as "mendokusai kedo, ... kawaii", ryochan as "yasashikute ichiban agjdhsahjdla" LOL!!! xDDDD
i don't know if it's just my feeling, but when kei-chan was imitating tesshi's words, he sounded...pretty much like tegoshi (minus the voice) xDD that light, almost breathless way of talking ^^
i hope the subs will come up soon xD there are surprisingly a LOT of subbers in the community, so i'm no longer devastated that newshfan is no longer subbing, and of the ocassion that she does release subs, she would release the softsub instead of hardsub.
this is one of those mornings when part of my brain saw the ticking of the clock in horror and scream to my other part of brain: "hurry!!!!!! it's so late already!!! oh my goodness, it's 10!!!!!" while the other part of my brain easly took control of the rest of my body and went: "*yawns* relax~~"
then, the other part of my brain would go: "*horror-ified* IT'S FREAKIN 10!!!!! GET YOUR ASS OFF THE CHAIR!!" and the other part of my brain simply: "*drums fingers to chin* humm~humm~ *opens another browser and decides what to check out next*"

and bernice continued singing everytime farhana mentioned another sentence =P
i've settled to my normal school routine of going to school at 9.30am and coming home nearing midnight daily. but since sbass had given me his 'treasure wallet' and obachan had started veoh-ing again, i now have a new routine of watching jdrama every night ^^ (maksudnya gara2 obachan veoh-ing, gw jg jadi ikut2an =P)
now i'm in the middle of watching Stay at Home Dad, having more or less given up on Scrap Teacher, which story is really quite scrappy, i mean crappy x( hontou ni... obachan said gachi baka was bad, and personally i don't think it's brilliant either for a school-drama standard, but scrap teacher makes gachi baka GOOD by comparison, goodness me... it's the worst school-drama i've ever watched!
i can only say that their recent achievement of getting 4th at nikkan drama award was purely because of the hey say jump-ers inside -_____-
btw congrats ryusei no kizuna for clinching number 1 ^^ nino-kun as best actor and ryo-chan as best supporting actor and toda erika as best supporting actress! ^___^
anyway i just want to say that i'm very happy that veoh has My Boss My Hero! and just now i couldn't stop myself from clicking "play" at the first episode, and i watched, jumping from point to point, and exactly at the 18.35 minute i burst out laughing xDDDD
someone posted the nakushita kioku shooting clip from mezamashi terebi in the community some days ago, and in that scene, matsuyama kenichi was fighting with someone and he hurt maki accidentally, and tesshi came to the rescue, being very concerned about maki.
someone commented that rather than best friend, they look like brother and sister. well, i said that i would push for the non-identical twins theory xDDDDD and watching this (again) reminded me of how much i was sure that tesshi here is cuter than horikita maki.
i can't believe how much his face had changed just within 2 years... he was SO adorable back then, goodness me chubby tegonyan.......
i can totally understand when nagase commented at tesshi's SC Premium VTR that even though tesshi has such innocent face, he might not be as innocent as he seemed to be, and that he felt like he was fooled xDDDDDDD LOL! considering tesshi's ero-jii reputation, it's perfectly normal that nagase felt like that, coz chubby tegonyan is the last face you'd ever pick to match an ero-jii nickname, he's THAT..........chubby xDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
i feel bad for saying chubby so many times, but everytime i stop after a paragraph, and i watch a little bit, and i saw his chubby cheek again, i feel like writing MORE xDDDDDDD LOL!

never mind the fact that this drama is nagase-centered, never mind the fact that for the first few episodes tesshi looked like he has a major crush on nagase, his chubby face is what makes me want to re-watch this again and again xDDDDDD

K-chan News is the radio segment that kei-chan has (i think) every monday (mid)night whereby he'll bring a guest (who's a NEWS member too) and they'll talk for half an hour (or less, coz they also insert 2 NEWS songs in the middle). i said the guest is NEWS member, but in reality only shige, massu and tegoshi had been making appearance, and some years before this they had uchi and kusano as guests too. basically: i've never heard, or seen, yamapi or ryo-chan as guest.
sometimes, when i stumbled upon it, i like to listen to it, eventhough i understood nothing that they talked about. it just feels nice to listen to kei-chan talk =D and especially if they're doing the kiss situation with tegoshi, it's the best! xD
so recently, when i went to the fandom in LJ, i found out that there's this person, neko_lovesyou who recorded k-chan news every week and shares her recordings with us. and recently, a team that consisted of ivonnemcgruder as subber and chopin_addict as translator had been formed to sub the segment! allowing us non-japanese listeners to be able to understand what's going on in the segment! and i'm so grateful for them ^___^
on top of subbing the most recent segment of k-chan news, they also started doing old episodes, and we can request episodes that we'd like to hear. i didn't feel good to trouble them by requesting anything coz they're already gracious enough to sub for us (oh the honorable work of fansubbing xD!) but in the end, after bantering quite back and forth with ivonne, she read my mind and asked if i'm requesting tegoshi's mousou kiss situation, and i said YES!!! xDDD lol, so much for not wanting to trouble them xD
anyway, go here to get to the recent release of the K-chan News fansub, dated 12th january 209 (or 15th december 2008 xDD). you might have to be a member of the news_jpop community to be able to see it, or not, i don't know...
anyway i just want to comment on it. supposedly K-chan news is not live, and they record several episodes in one go, maybe due to tight schedules of keichan who does his Call butai. this is quite funny, we can hear them both being quite tired and spent, especially when shige took over kei-chan's job of reading out the address to send mails and letters to and kei-chan and the background was just mumbling mumbling to himself xDDD and when shige protested that he's playing the male part in mousou kiss situation corner, and kei-chan said "iindatte... iku yo..." <--- he was coaxing shige in a really tired, resigned way
that person who wrote that second situation is EXTREMELY foresighted!! coz it was expected that kei-chan would be doing it with shige and he'll take the female part, and furthermore by putting shige's name there, it would be reserved for mousou kiss with shige! well done, whoever wrote the 2nd situation ^^
and LOL for the 3rd situation!!!!!!!!!!!!! omg they're so tired until they didn't really read things properly before doing???? when shige mentioned that the person had requested that tegoshi does it, i could immediately hear tesshi's breathless voice in mousou kiss's environment sound effect (the previous mousou kiss with tego really left a DEEP impression on me!) and i could imagine that it would be SO cute if he did that instead of koyashige xDDDD yappari tesshi's the best guy to do mousou kiss situation! and no matter who's the other party, since he'll be doing the female part, it doesn't matter xD anyone who does mousou kiss with tesshi would create a stunning effect xD
and listening to the manager laughing at the background is so funny xD
btw it's also very obvious that it's not live because they've been saying that they can't get massu to come to the studio because of his Rescue drama, and tesshi's busy with nakushita kioku filming, thus shige's been the guests for weeks. but this is for 12th january episode, and tesshi finished filming on the 9th! xD i really hope that tesshi would come next week! i mean this week, for the 19th jan episode ^^ and do lots of mousou kiss xDDDD LOL!
ah! deta! mousou kiss to be made into tesshi's solo project xD LOL!! practically everyone doesn't like to do it, except tesshi who does it willingly?? xDDD yappari ero-jii desu ne xD

*sighs* after weeks of following the progress of NEWS tour in the lj fandom, i became double sad when i thought about this. there's no X Japan fandom that i can attach myself too, screamingkiai being verryyyy quiet for such a loong time and recently it even refused to let me access it. me! the mod! although i haven't been doing my job as a mod for years...*guilty*
today is the concert. heck, they barely finished it hours ago, i guess... and i'm here, planning my trip to hongkong NEXT MONTH.... talk about wrong timing >_____<> freakin sad.... and i can't get fanreports, much less pictures or fanrecordings... *long sigh*

yeap, 14th feb. valentine's day. IF continued, taipei fans are going to be THE luckiest people this year, to be spending Valentine's day with X Japan... and when that happen, i would be at hongkong, sourcing for fabric and trimmings for my collection and duno wad....

but still, i'm really happy to see this vid.
he wasn't in that jubilant mood like last year during the first X Japan press conference after 10 years, when he was positively beaming and joking about and goofing around with toshi and the audience... but he's well, and that's enough =)
for a moment when i watched that video, i was quite in a shock. perhaps i've been in JE fandom for too long, and even before that i was searching and googling Versailles a lot, and everything's done in japanese, and even nino's interview regarding his iwojima work, although it was in english, it was done haltingly and with really strong japanese accent...
so, when i watched the vid, i was surprised, and i was shaken back to my old pride, that dear yochan speaks english coherently, fluently, and with american-scented japanese accent ^^ i was too used to listen to JE boys attempting to speaks another language as a greeting (when they do concert overseas) but immediately switch back to japanese for the real interview, that when yochan finished his *supposedly* cantonese greetings and switched to English instead of Japanese, i blinked and felt weird momentarily xD
*sigh* i've been abandoning you for too long, yochan, gomen ne....
*coughs coughs* erm, remember what i said when i blogged about "guilty for the last week"? okay, i'm gonna talk about it now. warning: about 65% JE-oriented.
prologue: so, after days of not getting it right for my designs, and after going home depressed yesterday, i had a good rest, strengthen my heart and started designing again with a fresh breath. oh, i found a good quote from yamapi too, from the translation of some recent magazine that's from suketeru (link under jani-jimusho stuff blogger). he was asked about what would make people grow, and he said: frustration. when people gets revived from it, they get stronger. and i believe that too.
so today, a good news came. a really really really good news, in fact. LR didn't just chose 1 of my design, he chose 4!! plus a jacket! waaooowww~~~ i'm super duper happy!!! SUPER duper happy!!! i'm going to do the technical drawing and everything that's needed for me to start production, and then tomorrow i'll start production. after a week and a half of seeing people around me moving on, today is a happy day indeed.
when i went home, i allowed myself to visit the omgkaraokeplz community for awhile. they've posted a new collab: mou koi nante shinai. the only version of this song that i've heard was tesshi's version, in beautiful but heart-wrenchingly sad ballad style that is just awesome with his voice. the version that omgkaraokeplz-ers did was a more happier version, though. and they did a great job in it, and it made me want to post a new song cover.
so, i open my audacity and started browsing and contemplating which song i should do. i was in the middle of recording Arashi's Blue when i browsed my f-list.
and upon seeing this by w_tsubasa, i just bursted out laughing! oh! my! GOODNESS!!!!
well, the thing that i said in "guilty for the last week" was actually about tesshi dressing up in a schoolgirl outfit and came up while koyashige were doing chirarizumu, and gave kei-chan a kiss xD and some people said that shige was expecting tesshi to kiss him too, but tesshi didn't, lol poor shige! xDD
so, that was the picture that i was waiting for. and i didn't imagine that i would amuse me so much when i finally saw it xD omg that skirt is SHORT! LOL! he was seen trying to pull it down, and it was described in some fanreports that he was trying to pull it down xD
i've seen some JE boys cosplaying and wearing skirts (sho-kun's maid outfit was...xD!) but none that i remembered actually wore a skirt that short! it might be normal midi-length for us girls, and still can't be compared to toshiya or teru, but bear in mind that yuuko was originally yuuya and he plays futsal every week LMAO!!!!.... xD!!!!

the promise that i'll keep JE-related entries on this blog to a bare minimum had somewhat shattered, if not vanished completely. the reason for this is because, i feel, that there are waay to many people in the fandom circle in lj. even though i have not friended so many people, i do usually write what i want to write, and dis whoever i want to dis, and this is what worries me, kinda. almost all JE-fandom residents live peacefully side by side, arashi, hsj, kat-tun, news, k8, but i do have groups that i don't favour so much, and groups that i tend to talk to in disdain (read: jealous tone).
just now a poor girl posted a small little post that was bombarded immediately with 140++ comments, just because she mentioned that she read in a magz article that ryo's gay and she wondered if this was true, coz if it was, she'll stop liking him and would go over to tesshi instead . and of course out of that 140++ comments, about 30% are snapping, "why do you change your preference so easily? if you're his fan, you should know better, if you're his fan, you should like him for his character" and something along those lines, while the rest are kinda goofing around, in a sarcastic way.
but of course, she made a fatal mistake of posting it to the community, which, of course, would be read by hundreds of people. i don't post in any community except omgkaraokeplz, but still the thought scares me: what if what i said offended anyone, and they bring in their friends to flame me and i'm banished from the community altogether.
i've read some journals whereby the people dislike some other bands too. but they would almost always backed by their friends, who would comment about something along their lines. which is why i always carefully choose the people whom i friended and only select those whom i really, really sure share the same interests as me.
but now i don't have time to consider whether my post is safe or whether i should hold down my tone or what. so, for the time being, i'll be back in blogspot for JE and non-JE posts. but to make it noticeable if i'm including JE topics, i'll mention it at the beginning so you can skip it if you want to =P
and regarding that post that started the flames: from what the commentors told us, it was a german magazine which was an article about gay people living in Japan, and they just used ryo's pic, they didn't even mention his name at all. that was kinda mean, i thought, and furthermore johnny's really strict about his boys' pics so i doubt that it was even authorised...
and regarding her statement , "i'll go over to tego instead" <--- and i thought she knows better! if there's anyone whom i would consider to be bi/gay in NEWS, the first person that i'll pick is definitely yuuyaan xD followed closely by kei-chan xDD after all those koyatego, ryotego, tegoshige pics and stories from the tour... (and the tour before this. and before that xDDD) ...i really wonder if this girl knows anything about NEWS at all...
for those who have not graduated, have you ever wondered about the life after graduation? whereby all those school-life drama that are oh-so-rampant in mangas, animes and dramas becomes out of reach for you? and have you ever thought to yourself, "gee, if i'm in a manga right now, this would be a perfect scene for....(fill in the blanks)..."?
and for those who have graduated, have you done any of those above while you were still schooling? and if you haven't, do you wish that you would have done so?
today's not a good day. i was so frustrated in school. with my studio work. ED came in for a short one-on-one Q&A session with us, and even though she made me feel MUCH better for doing okay in essay, i still wasted 2 hours forcing myself to do some work, which i failed coz there was too much in my head (or too little, LR might say?) and i gave up. and after 'pamit'ing with velinyo and getting a hug from her, i went home.
and i just have to listen to a song to accompany my journey home. when i'm happy, i'll choose happy songs, when i'm angry i'll listen to screaming songs. but when i'm sad, or depressed, my preference is mostly Yui's.
so Goodbye Days just had to accompany me home. if you've been outside since yesterday night, you'll realise that the wind is unusually strong these days. and while walking out of school just now, i just picturise myself in those kind of manga scenes whereby the character is about to commit suicide or something, strong wind blowing my hair everywhere while i walked with my head down and listening to Goodbye Days' sad but beautiful melody and Yui's clear voice...
...so drama...
i told veli that i'm going to take a short nap, just to clear this muddle-head an pick up some spirit from the roadside or somewhere so that i have the courage to continue my seemingly-pointless-battle with my design work.
and when i reach home, i turned the computer on. just to find that my internet connection was off. even after struggling with the cables of the modem, it was still off. i took it as a sign from the above that i should NOT play internet.
so i started reorganising my research file. and while doing that, it came on.
feeling guilty while doing this but i just have to check my f-list. as i said, i'm waiting for the final leg of NEWS tour reports and goodies to come streaming online, after which i can go hiatus in peace.
and once again, i'll say, thank you tesshi for the fanservice. and thank you akira_baka for the pics.
i know my school stuff is killing me and according to veli's calculation last night we won't be able to take EVEN A DAY OFF to be able to meet our deadlines and that's not including the time that muts be spent on essay and STILL we won't be able to finish our 6toiles by week 5, BUT i just have to keep my eyes open AT LEAST til the end of this week, after which i would be able to go on hiatus in a more relaxed heart...
...it's because yesterday NEWS had finally finished their Winter Party Diamond Tour! and i'm still waiting for fanreports (translation!) of the osaka concerts.
... and also because on the last day of tour, something happened (which had been pretty much the highlight of the con) and everyone's mentioning it as a teaser to their fanreports. and if it was caught on DVD, omg i can't even describe my reaction xD shige and massu must be pretty jealous that their *cough*partner*cough* if flinging with each other LMAO!
...and most importantly because i want to wait for the photos!
i know that Chirarizumu is a song about, erm, peeping up a skirt? xD and Murarisuto, for those who have seen the translation, is more about the upper part of the body? but who would have ever imagine, in their wildest dream, that when the boys need a girl image for their song, they would pick someone from their ownselves? no prize for guessing who gets the girly role, who was also envied for having awesome thighs xD

another weekend just passed by without me doing anything and that's bad...

as a continuation from "tego fanservice" post, i said that koyatego's, erm, 'antics' were reported for several concerts, so i was waiting for more pics to arrive ^^ furthermore, heroismine said that there were some pics whereby the position was reversed too. i have no idea where to get them, so i waited for anyone in my f-list to post any.
and, voila, today i just saw that yamapi85 had shared those pics with us. needless to say that the first link that i clicked was the hiroshima MF link, ufufufufu~ it said "hiroshima" but inside the package it was all tesshi's pics, not group pics xD i'd say that tesshi looks really good with dark brown/jet black hair. i don't really like him with light brown hair, and tanned skin, makes him look gangster-ish.... but now that it's winter, he's starting to look fairer and had starting to shed his summer tanned look ^^

O.O... after this, i'll say: no comments about it.
to obachan who thought that koyatego might've stumbled accidentally on stage to end up with that pose, well no, they've done this for several cons, remember? *evil giggle* i wonder if there's any from other cons too...? =P according to a fanreport, there was once whereby pi-chan sat on tesshi in that pose, goodness xDDD human sandwich... poor kei-chan!! xDDDD
2 more concerts and that's it for NEWS winter Party Diamond Tour 2008-2009.... they're ending it in Osaka's Kyocera Dome which, i think, was last used as Kinki Kids' concert during the countdown 2008-2009. that's quite a big venue O.o
so sad that it's ending ;___; it's the first time i've ever followed someone's tour. every weekend there would be new things to wait for. eventhough not many of the community members would be able to go, but those who went would generously share their experience with us, and it's always exciting to hunt for those "goods", fanreports being my favourite goods, followed closely by fanrecordings and fancams. and then there were the magazine scans, pics scans and whatnots... it's so, so sad that it's ending.... ;_______;
but may as well, ne? i need to start prying myself off from the net *sighs* well after this, we would all be waiting for the DVD to be released, ne. i have only one hope, which i said in my "goals and dreams for 2009" --> for the format of this DVD to resemble Never Ending Wonderful Story DVD, with loads and loads and loads of backstage member-cam xD and i really hope that they include the 3rd day of Tokyo Dome concert when matsujun and toma came as guest and goofed around the stage with NEWS and with tesshi's much-talked hairstyle =D
and if koyatego antics were included, i'll be the happiest fangirl alive. together with other happiest-fangirls alive too xD
currently i'm visiting johnnys.cosotto page and voting for tesshi. i know that i'm supposed to vote for yamapi (i got the link from someone in yamapi facebook group who appeals for us to support him and defeat jin, oops) but he's waaay above jin already, the difference being more than 10,000 votes. so now i'm voting for tesshi. yesterday he was 8th, now he's 9th -_-
so. this drama hasn't got a permanent name yet, but shooting and stuff had been underway, which is why kei-chan still can't get tesshi to come to K-chan News show (and shige's been on it for 5 times in a row xD)

waaaay before this time, i was comparing both maki and tesshi's face (maki in hana kimi versus tesshi in my boss my hero) and i said he's chubbier cuter, ne? sigh, if only they were doing some dramas together at that time when his face was still chubby-cute...
you know sometimes interviewers love to ask questions like "if you're not in NEWS (or some other groups), what would you be doing?" and usually people answer them differently depending on their age? like for example when NEWS were still in schooling age, many answered "normal school kids", but when Arashi was asked, they answered different profession/jobs coz they're already in working age?
i guess if NEWS is asked again now and tesshi answer "normal university student", those pics can be used to describe his answer xD some people complained that he looked geeky (which i think he does xD) but apart from his clothes, i guess that's how he looks like in real life, yea? when he's not wearing his contacts, i mean. clothes-wise, i think he's the more sporty type instead of the studious type. i can believe shige dressing up like that, for example, but not tesshi xD
by the way, those specs just reminded me of the Hey! Hey! Hey! Super Live that they attended some weeks/months back, when they were riding a tram together with the Downtown, koda kumi and etc. when they were still waiting for the tram to arrive, tesshi was seen standing at the back of the group and he was wearing specs! black-rimmed specs like the above pics. and when they were about to board the tram, he was seen taking it off..... does that mean that during that particular Hey! Hey! Hey! segment he couldn't see?? o.O!!

after ryotego pic that irritated hany the other day, i've been waiting for one more pic which had been described by many fans in their concert report: koyatego pic. apparently they've done this for several cons, and i'm really curious. well, no i'm not curious. i'm just dying to see it. dira would understand how i feel...i think.

okay real-life updates! i've finished the first week of school! banzaiii!!! yay yay yay! the lecturers are in a really really good mood currently. on thurs i was ready to be eaten alive, and while consoling myself and veli, i said, "just pretend that this will be the very last time we get scolded in our academic life. make it a memorable scolding that we'll remember for the rest of our lives" just to make us feel better and calmer before seeing LR. it worked for me, i felt slightly calmer xD i asked alice to share some of her confidence, she said, "gw bukan pede, na, ini namanya nekat!" LOL xDDD
well, after my turn came, he didn't eat me alive! =D in fact, he dragged a chair and sat down while listening to my explanation! it was one of those really rare time when he did that, and everytime he does i was always really happy, coz it showed that he was willing to sit and listen to me, not just passing by like usual. and whatever things i showed him was accepted by him. in fact, when i said that i'm scared it's going in a different direction, he said no, it's still the same collection but looked more developed and mature. super happy =)
this weekend gotta ganbare coz monday i have to get 6 designs chosen for my final garments. die die must choose coz i have to finish all 6 toiles by week 5! XO
but i'm feeling really happy and motivated now =DDD i've decided to start cutting down my JE intake drastically. i start by going on hiatus on my LJ (so all JE-related blurbs are coming back here, ohohoho xD) and only take stuff from my f-list =) after the big johnnys countdown file, i think i'm ready to go semi-hiatus.
finally, after duno how many days of befriending MU, i get the whole file. newshfan already complained that the whole 50-min show is about 750mb and wondered if nobody else had encoded something smaller, what if she know that some of us are getting a 5gig file for that same 50-min show?? xDDD i'm going to hunt for that 750mb show too, i think, just so that i can use her softsub...
so, i continued watching. i think for the latter 2gig, i have watched most of them on keyhole TV that time. i remembered daite senorita, this time performed only with 5 people: tsubasa, inocchi, yamapi, jin and matsujun, if compared to around 10 performer for last year? inocchi was being totally dorky xD oh well, what else is new?
seishun amigo was quite hilarious. the performer, apart from shuji and akira, were junichi, nagase, ryo-chan and nino-kun. while both kame and yamapi still remembered their dance steps perfectly, the other 4 seemed at loss on stage, especially junichi and nagase xD ryo-chan and nino-kun were covering it up by doing some pointless dancing and turning around, but nagase was clearly trying to follow kame's steps xD poor thing =p the only thing they knew what to do was the "dakishimete~" part when they raise their thumbs up ^^ and btw i may not like kat-tun so much *coughborderingdislikecough* but i really think that kame is sexy=p and i like nakamaru earnestly too ^^
after that was ainanda =D the performers were: tesshi and someone from kat-tun (by way of elimination i think he should be the ueda), ohno and someone from K8 (i totally duno who he is...), matsuoka and another one from K8. i was expecting to hear tesshi's voice. but, disappointingly, he was completely, completely drowned by ohno's voice O.O!! and even if ohno got softer, there were still 2 eito-ers there, goodness.... i only could hear him clearly right at the end, his long vibrato, as usual, stayed a beat longer than others =)
what's weird is that nobody from V6 were there to sing ainanda =P and oh-chan and that one eito were so dorky, standing statue-still while singing in front of the camera while the others were dancing and waving while singing xD! oh, riida...
Midnight Shuffle (i hope it's the correct title) was fun and weird at the same time. they were standing on 3-tiered circular stage which revolved in opposite direction for each tier, arashi standing on the top tier, not revolving. most of thet time it's eito who were just dorky by nature and went disturbing their companions (including ryo-chan who was, out-of-character-istically, hyper beside jin o.O!), but inocchi - taichi pairing (perfect dorkiness! xD) who were goofing around made sho and jun laughed. i think they were standing at the top, looking around and were amused at what they saw, arashi =P
tesshi might be one of the most hyper in NEWS (if not one of the most lame too, if you watch Never Ending Wonderful Story DVD), but he seemed helpless to respond to one eito beside him (the one who were singing with ohno during ainanda) coz he was completely hyper, much more than tesshi himself...(not to mention that tesshi seemd to be tuning down his lameness and dorkiness lately...) but at the last moment of the song, he managed to do something interesting: as that eito sang in the gesture that pushed the mic further and further away from him, tesshi grabbed his arm and pulled it back to his mouth xD
this year, tokio and v6 were treated like the dai-senpai (last year was kinki kids?). i wonder if they'd be joining 2009-2010 countdown too...?
and, just a note: for this countdown, K8 has finally gotten all of their members back. all 8 members of K8 were on stage, coz uchi was there too, even though he was not recognised as neither NEWS nor K8 member. so, when will NEWS have all 8 of their members on stage too...? i've heard loads of stories about uchi's activities, his cons, magz articles and what-nots, but what about kusano? i heard nothing about him, except the rumour that he's coming back from the US...
then again, i'm still standing on the fence on the issue of whether or not uchi-notti should come back into NEWS... it seemed like a good idea, but at the same time NEWS had been working so hard, the 6 of them... shige's SCP really made me rethink my opinion... and considering uchi's quite-astonishing popularity... *shrugs* i really don't know...
well Arashi is the MC again this year. i thought that they recycled the countdown 2007-2008 costume, but i was mistaken. last year's countdown was bling-bling silver, this year is bling-bling golden xD!
this year, it was held at 3 different places with 3 different hosts. i don't really know the places, but i know the hosts: Tackey and a senpai (duno his name) and the Johnnys Jr at one place, Kinki Kids at another place, and Arashi and the rest of the boys, i think, at Tokyo Dome (do correct me if i'm wrong). so cool, eh? i think they gathered more than 100,000 people, coz Tokyo Dome alone can hold up to 55,000.
anyway i was watching the Arashi special medley, and they broke into Truth. and i remembered blogging about it weeks ago. apparently, when i blogged about it, it was not too far from the release of the single, i think. at that time, i thought it was some old song xD maklum masi noob kalo soal arashi. and that single, Truth/Kaze no Mukou e actually became the highest selling single of 2008. sugoi ne?
but what amazed me even more was the fact that the number 2 highest selling single was yet another Arashi: One Love, the OST for hanayori dango (matsujun).
and what amazed me the most was that they still have another single in the top 10 highest selling single: Beautiful Days, the OST for ryuusei no kizuna (nino, ryo, erika). it's at number 10.
can't help but to shake my head. this year is the year of Arashi. they're really dominating the charts! why, number 12 is yet another arashi: Step and Go. buset.....
...if compared to NEWS which highest position is at #19 with Taiyou no Namida.... *sigh* Summer Time is only at 23 and Happy Birthday was, thankfully, 26 (i thought it'd be out of the top 50 or something...)
yappari, NEWS can't be compared to KAT-TUN, huh? they have Don't U Ever Stop and Lips, both at number 8 and 9 respectively. if they've released another single in 2008, i bet it's in the top 10 too...

anyway i'm going off track. i was going to say that, while watching Truth being performed in the countdown, i remembered the single that mai lent me when we went for cash studio (session 13). it was Truth/Kaze no Mukou e!! =D and, remembering that i loved the PV a lot, i looked it up at youtube again, and watched it again. it's so cool... i LOVE piano, especially if combined with strings, it's the best music! in the PV, i think i like watching aiba and nino dance the most o.O they're the most prominent and easiest to catch. maybe because aiba was wearing red pants. for nino...i can't find an explanation, my eyes are just drawn to him O.O
when i watched the countdown live, i was lucky to be able to catch Made in Japan live. and i saw some people somersaulting. for NEWS, i put my bet on Massu, coz it seemed like he's the only one who could do it xD (my next bet would be................................with all due respect, yamapi? xD) who knows, i was right! it was massu! and, i think, taguchi from kat-tun =P (i only can correctly recognise kame, jin and koki. and nakamaru, if i can see the face xD)
*sigh* still haven't finished all the parts. the total size is like 5gb! goodness... part 2, the major performances part, is 4gig -___- i'm going to be patient and be good friends with MU until everything's done.
... and then i'll go semi-hiatus. my schoolwork is sounding really, really, really-honestlt-i'm-not-exagerratingly scary.
this semester, i'll keep reminding myself: 1) it's just another half a year more, and 2) tesshi and shige will graduate this year too! i won't allow myself not to graduate together with them. and i want my honour too!

well well well..... you know what this is gonna be about. if you like the show, read it; if you don't like the show or haven't even watched it and scared for any spoilers, don't ^^
the bug has been around for a long time now, hasn't it? the first time i heard about it was from bernice. i don't claim that i know her that well, but it was the first time i saw her talking about a topic (non fashion-related) with so much passion (and, if i may add, such a dreamy expression xD!) in fact, it was after listening to her that i became interested in this movie. if it wasn't for her, i don't think i'll ever be interested to watch something like this =P that was like just after assessment a month and a half ago, i think.
and now, i've watched it. the cinema was still almost full, i think. watched it with velinyo, ning-ning, amot, yunnyee, rachel and bernice, the latter 2 have watched it before.
the first few moments whereby they were introducing the vampires, i thought they look kinda ridiculous with their powder-white faces and black-red lipsticks, both for men and women. and when that edward showed up, i wasn't impressed either. i admit that he's good looking, but he's not the kind of face that will attract me or something, his face is just not my type =/
even then, i melted in front of his acting, like totally ^^ the scene at the biology lab when he started speaking to bella for the first time was the scene that hit me hard for the first time. that was the most awkward situation and acting that i've seen in a long while. and while usually i'd have the tendency to look away during those kind of awkward moments, he just pulled all my attention and my eyes were fixed at him for the whole time. that had to be the most endearing scene i've watched in quite a long while. he's inhumanely charming, in a shy and adorable way. and with that gorgeous face (not to mention that sharp look of his mesmerising eyes) all the following scenes afterwards were dreamily captivating...
and when i realised it, i've been curling my toes and fingers everytime he appeared, with the shy and awkward, but loveably cute air surrounding him...

when people told me that he was the one who played Cedric Diggory of Hufflepuff in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, nothing came to my mind. i wasn't paying too much attention to Cedric because i've formed my own Cedric in my mind when i read the book much earlier on, and he didn't fit the face that i've formed on my own, so i forgot about him. but i do remember him being the most-talked character from GoF movie, just like Legolas (Orlando Bloom) being the most-talked character out of Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Rings, simply for being gorgeous. i just don't remember his face, that's all. and the movie posters only show his face, not his acting, not his embarrassed, charming air that he carries with him. i tell you, if it wasn't because of bernice's interesting trailer talk, i wouldn't be catching this movie until much later xD
so, anyway, i don't think i'll mind watching it again =DD anyone?
i was asking browsing somewhere when i suddenly saw a comment written by chantel-san, and what attracted me the most to that comment was the icon. it was tesshi being tickled by everyone and it looked so funny ^^ so i asked her (i'm really assuming that she's a her, so i'm really sorry if i'm wrong...) where'd she get it, and she said that it's probably from popolo dec'07 issue. so i started searching and googling for any possible scans.
found one from vendy-san. well, that particular picture that chantel-san has wasn't among the scans, but i can see that it has to be from that issue. in fact, it has to be the sequel pic to that picture whereby tesshi was lying in front of massu, kei-chan and shige =P
but among the pics, there are several that shows their burning spirit (concert pics) and it made me feel slightly more encouraged in facing the new semester. especially the pic whereby everyone were putting their hands in that "bang" gesture, that starting gesture for weeek. somehow that pic really cheered me up =)
i'm very apprehensive about this coming semester, mostly because i feel that the wall that's appeared and blocking my way is just getting taller and i don't expect much help from my teachers...
but seeing that pic made me realise something: what's most important is that I try my hardest. i'm not alone, i'm going to graduate together with my classmates! i know that whatever help that i get from them are pure privilege for my part and that i shouldn't bank too much on getting their help. that's why i will try hardest on my own. they're there with me, striving and persevering on together with me. and at the end of this semester, i want to be able to say, "that's a job well done!" together with them.
NEWS, too, is starting this new year 2009 with a bang, being the first group to hold a concert this year on the 1st Jan 2009 in Tokyo Dome! =D
officially my clock is still at 11pm, but i had just watched the Johnny's countdown in Fuji Terebi, and i felt like it's new year already xD it was painstaking, trying to watch fuji terebi when you're all the way in southeast asia -__- and my keyhole TV just decided to go off and refuse to go online on the crucial moments. aaarghhhh was so frustrated!!! but i preserved (in clicking the on/off button) and managed to catch it ^^
the streaming was absolutely horrendous, of course, but i'm satisfied =) after all i could catch glimpses of all NEWS members, in order of most-often seen: yamapi, ryo, tesshi, kei-chan, shige and massu xD ecstatic to be able to see tesshi xD i swear i could see him goofing off with someone on his right once, and laughing in that very-tesshi way =DD i could only catch a glimpse of massu once, and other times he's off the screen, or else my streaming was frozen and i couldn't see him =p i hope someone would share a better quality soon ^^
very happy to be able to see them =) i know yesterday they started their 3-days Tokyo Dome concerts. it was good to read their reports on the papers. thanks to babelfish, more or less i knew how it went. the most common news that came up in those articles were the appearance of NEWS members from a diamond (8 metre in diameter) and it was somewhat directed by takki? and ryo also said something like, "we started the year 2008 in Tokyo Dome and end it in Tokyo Dome too, this concert will round off things nicely. and we can start the new year 2009 in Tokyo Dome too. it's a rare experience and in order to keep continuing, we would like to keep preserving " --> rough translation and understanding =P and also about the new song called "Share" in which all the members contributed in the making =) i'm waiting forward for this new single!! ^^
alright, now for the more personal matters.
new year. new things? new life? unfortunately not many of us would be able to get that chance of new life at new year, yea? we still live our old lives, continuing our work or studies which we've started since last year or more. what changes?
very disheartening and discouraging questions that i keep asking myself. it doesn't help that i read the feng shui book just now and read that my luck this year is not a good one. in fact, rarely i ever read my luck as being "good" *sigh* is this the fate of someone with tiger zodiac? it's always said that the tigers are stubborn and over-confident, and they don't think wisely, in fact they're rather reckless. i always thought that it's not true for me, coz i feel like i'm lacking of confidence, not the other way round. but the more i thought about it, it's also true, in a way that i kept thinking that i'm not good at this and that, and i would usually give in to the pressure and give up, thinking that i could somehow survive without it. that could also be considered over-confident, no?
and throughout this short holiday, i kept thinking of my school work which is not looking good. i've found a wall that i don't know how to overcome. it's the first time in life that i feel that i WANT to graduate as soon as possible. desperately! i just want to get this over and done with. done and over with. whichever you choose. i just want to graduate!!
and yet i realised that once i graduate, that's it for my schooling life. and it's quite sad too, coz i really enjoy my class this year. for once i've had a class which i can connect to, a really fun class filled with really nice friends. even though i'm still kinda watching from the sideline, due to its small size, i feel like i'm closer to the centre of activities too. and, i could be disliking my course, but if the school-related part is removed from them, i really like all of my friends, my class, my teachers, even my school!
but of course, another year means another year of experience gained. i feel like i'm suffering from the peter pan syndromme, but i also realise that we can't be kids forever. another year of mistakes and experience i gained should mean that i should be getting wiser. i hope that i will be getting wiser for this new year.
i also hope that i will be able to more confidently say what i really think out loud to other people, be more confident in telling the teacher what i really think and able to defend my thinking. and i hope that i will be more fillial in my duties as a daughter, be more caring and understanding to my brother and sister, and be more considerate to other people around me.
i hope i can be a better person.
the year 2008 was marked with many events. some of them important and affected my life a lot. some were not so important, but they're still something for me to learn from anyway. from the idols/entertainment frontier: X Japan made a come-back concert in March, about 160,000 fans were able to fulfil their dreams of catching them live again in that 3-day concert in Tokyo Dome. i got to know NEWS in march too, on the 9th of March 2008, to be precise. and from then, without me realising it, i became a johnny jimusho junkie. i've also started livejournal-ing so that i can be more connected with the fandom =D Versailles released their debut album, Noble, in July, and changed their name into Versailles The Philharmonic Quintet for their stuff that are related to the USA.
from personal side, i began to realise the importance of catching up and staying in touch with friends who are dear to me, and i also spent more time out with them if compared to the previous years when my life was all school-school-SCHOOL!!! many friends have also started working and i have to start considering their working days and only schedule leisure activities in weekends. i've also became karaoke-junkie this year when dira brought us to Cash Studio. since the last time i registered my cash studio session, i've karaoke-ed 2 more times, ending this year with a whopping number of 13 Cash Studio sessions xD i picked up my japanese again in july, but now i have, again, lost most of them...*sigh* but i've found a person to practice my japanese with (cum tutor), who is dira ^^ i always sms her in japanese and she, me. that's the best practice method i have after stopping my lesson. and, even though my uncle got sick, i thank god that my family is still safe and sound.
i can foresee some important events that will take place in 2009. one of the most important, and immediate, ones would be moving in to my new place. so far, i've been staying in home-stay-like homes where everything is taken care of for me. after moving into my new place, me and my siblings will be on our own. that should be a new experience for us. and the most, MOST important event this year will be my graduation in mid 2009. when the time comes, i will copy kei-chan's jweb entry and started my entry in his phrase of: "from now, i will be writing as a contributing member of society." =D oh, that means i should get a job first, huh? o well... when i get a job then ^^
last year i have a few new-year-resolution. i kept them as realistic as possible and i've tried keeping up with them for as long as i could, and it was hard. but at least itried hard. this new year, the year 2009 resolution willl be:
1. to be a more confident person, in stating out what i feel and to be able to defend my own opinion, even to the teachers. 2. to be a patient person and reduce my short-tempered-ness. in other words: to be less nasty and moody. 3. to be a thinking person, to think more deeply in whatever situation i'm in. i used to do this a lot when i was younger, i was more intuitive and curious, and i realised that i'm losing touch of it. i feel like the older i got, the lesser i think. in the end i go with the flow, became a yes-man and doesn't analyse things as much as i did previously. now i want to gain it back, to ask questions, to think.
those 3 will be my biggest goal this year. and then, goals that i always renew at the beginning of the year are:
4. to be a better daughter =) and a better sister and a better niece. and, of course, a better friend. all in all, to be a better person! 5. to keep a healthier lifestyle, and help people around me to do the same. i've started this by being more thoughtful about my diet for 2008. this new year 2009 i'll add more from the physical activities area =) 6. to cut down on my johnny jimusho intake. concentrated dosage had been proven to be fatal to my academic studies =p
that last one was new xD but it's necessary to have it coz the year 2009 is my final year. i can't mess up because of my idols who've given me inspiration. pi-chan had graduated last year and tesshi and shige will graduate soon too. i can't lose to them!
and, my goals, hopes and dreams for the year 2009 are:
1. for the economic crisis to be dealt with wisely, so that we don't suffer much. and, especially, for the 1998 riot NOT to be repeated again v_v 2. for my uncle to be cured completely from his lung cancer v_v 3. for my graduation and my brother's!! and to have my honours title! this will be my biggest personal goal that i have to achieve! >_< _fcktemp="1">Japan live concert... T_T 5. for NEWS's new DVD (the NWPD) to be made similar to Never Ending Wonderful Story format, that has a lot of backstage footage and member-cams =D hopefully it'll be longer than the previous 2 DVDs too ^^ 6. for NEWS to continue their continuous number-1 streaks in singles and albums =D 7. to continue my japanese lesson until i can take JLPT level 2 xD or at least until i can understand what an average japanese say without much difficulties >_< 8. to continue pursuing my interest, even if it doesn't seem possible or purposeful anymore.... i just like studying... v_v 9. to go to Japan! *_* 10. to sing better =D
edit: while writing this, an hour had passed. i just watched firework display from the back of my house. so many fireworks from many different areas, basically you can turn your view for 180 degrees and you can catch glimpses of at least one from every 20 degree angle =DDD cool! for the past 3 years we were able to catch the firework display from the highway. omg it's always damn packed with cars and it's always followed by massive traffic jam. but it's fun! this year we can't go out coz my dad wants to catch his Niang Jia drama series -_- o well, wouldn't deprive him of one of his biggest entertainment =) besides, my bro isn't here to drive through that hellish traffic jam xD

Background: formed in 2007 by founding member Kamijo (ex Lareine) and Hizaki (ex Sulfuric Acid), they released their debut single Revenant Choir which tells a story about a clan.
Just as like Kamijo's past works, Versailles tells a story through their symphonic metal music and extravagantly elaborate costumes inspired from antique European era.

etc: Versailles beautiful music managed to win my heart totally. saddened by the loss of Jasmine-YOU in 2009, but i hope the 4 of them will still make great music from now onwards. rest in peace, Jasmine-YOU, and watch out for the guys from up there...
