The last time i updated my skin was on Yochan's 43rd birthday, and a year had passed. I'm glad that his surgery went fine and i hope he's recovering well. Don't neglect your therapy, Yochan, and hope to see you next year in China ^^
God bless your abundantly!!

A fan of JRock music and bands. Most favourite band of all time: the legendary band, X Japan.
Loves its leader, drummer, pianist and main composer, Hayashi Yoshiki , usually called Yoshiki.
Loves one of X's guitarists, Matsumoto hideto, or usually called hide, and
one of the best vocalist I've ever heard, Deyama Toshimitsu, or usually called Toshi.
leaving this evening to jakarta. my room is still in a mess and i know i'm gonna regret it A LOT when i come back here again *sigh* especially since i've scheduled my flight to be just the day before school starts.
oh well, i'll try to tidy things up from now. within a few hours, how much can i accomplish, ne....
i'm setting up a few "things to do" for this holiday, seeing that it'll be my last long holiday before graduation:
1. japanese tuition 2. piano lesson 3. re-train myself on driving -_- 4. write my fanfic 5. produce a new blog layout 6. produce a tegoshi handphone theme 7. meet up with yessichan and yenche and vanity more than once! 8. susumu beki michi wa jibun de, jibun no ishi de kimereba ii~~ 9. consider themes for next year and do a little bit of development 10. lose weight
1st one is a MUST. i've even bought a little souvenir for nancy-sensei ^^ 2nd one is a bit hrd but hopefully i can start one... 3rd one is chotto.... 4th one is definitely, definitely will be done. 5th and 6th, wish me luck ne~ 7th one, i miss them!! 8th, yea, who knows, ne? 9th one is a big hope...wish me luck on this. 10th one will be my biggest goal this holiday, yeaps! i shan't be heavier than a certain someone >___<>
if all's well, you'll hear from me again, pretty soon, perhaps? if not, i'll see you in august~
these deliveries surprised me sometimes, they arrived SO FREAKIN FAST! would you believe it, i placed my order YESTERDAY! and just 15 minutes ago, i already RECEIVED it!! that's less than a day!! O.O!!! ....really wow!
anyway, thank you for the super-fast delivery, i can bring happy feet back home and watch it anytime i want ^^ i browsed through it just now and, yesh! it has tesshi's voice xDDDD the only reason why i would buy a japanese DVD instead of one with indonesian subtitle =P yey for tesshi as mumble~~ xDDD i haven't watched the ending credit, but it should have Hoshi wo Mezashite, ne =)
i'm going off for PSP shopping now. alone. how sad of me. sigh...
it would seem like i'm getting addicted to cash studio... but each time i go, it's with different people! well at least there would be someone new accompanying me each time. first time we went to the apollo centre one, with dira, nata and tony. the second time i went with nata and hany to the havelock one. and the last one was still at havelock (their rooms are big!) and i was introduced to 2 of dira's friends.
surprisingly, each of her friends share a common idol with me! mai likes tegomass, tegoshi in particular (yay for another tesshi fan!), and we spent the night singing many many many NEWS and Tegomass songs and trying to make the harmonising work xDDD the other one, i'm so sorry i couldn't remember her name (i'm super bad with chinese names) is an X Japan fan! and last night we sang X Japan medley (the rock medley, not ballad) and Endless Rain and Week End xDDD
we started singing at around 7, but didn't really get into the mood until about 8. perhaps because we weren't used to singing with strangers, ne? but once we got into the mood, hooo man, we extended 2 more hours til 12am xD if someone had suggested we extended til they close (1am) i would've given her my vote xD
what makes last night different? i guess the presence of people who knows the songs i'm singing and able to understand whatever needed to be done for that song. small little things like, the little dance steps for hoshi wo mezashite and sayaendou, the normal vocal part for kibou no hikari wo kokoro ni tomosou and miso soup and kirameki no kanata e (and many other songs) and singing it steadily enough so that i can try harmonising, the joke between koya-pi during their karaoke session (that "ah kuchibiru kuchibiru kuchibiru~" kei-chan did while pi-chan sang daite senorita, remember?) and the carrying it out while i sang daite senorita (lol!), the waving of hands during Endless Rain and standing together, swaying slowly like what fans normally do during x concert...
all these little things that non-fans wouldn't grasp the importance, or unable to do because of the language barrier (thus being too busy reading the cheat sheets to pay attention to other things) were the things that made last night's karaoke session a different one than what i'd normally done. perhaps we would look really silly in front of the non-fans (what do you think, dir?) but the presence of one more person who understands what you're doing and appreciating it is enough to make me really get into the mood of the karaoke, a different mood that i seldom felt during karaoke sessions.
i took many vids xD but the last one, when mai and i were singing sayaendou and koi yake, weren't recorded because my battery went dead >O such a pity... oh well, there would be other times, ne? meanwhile i'll learn more harmonising part, both tesshi's and massu's parts so that we can try harmonising again next time ^^
holiday week 5 day 1: youtube-d cash studio session!
lol, i saw some karaoke versions of sunadokei, and i was sorely tempted to put up mine from the 2nd cash studio session xDDD
enjoy it now coz i'm gonna take it down before i'm leaving sg =PP i don;t want it to gather flames and spams when i'm unable to access it in jakarta =P
4:58 pm
holiday week 4 day 6 & 7: continuation with moi birthday
yesterday went out with yang hong and shamane. first, i brought yang to see around my school. honestly that building is looking more and more like a tourist attraction than a school to me xD then somehow i started telling her about NEWS and since she seemed interested we started watching some PVs and i started telling her about Tegomass too o.O she introduced to me a korean group called...DBSK or something... they're alright, i guess, nothing against them. i promised her i'll send her the more mellow NEWS songs and Tegomass's ^^ conversion process is being attempted~
then we went to PS and met up with shamane. oh goodness, it's been sooo long since i last saw her! like... 2 years? okay i've seen her once after we graduated from SA, but it was such a brief meeting i didn't get to catch up with her news at all -_-;; it was really really nice to be able to catch up with her again. we talked a bit about JC times, which, shockingly to me, was already 2 years ago(! O.O time sure does fly!!) and sha was wondering why our memories were still so good xD and i asked her about her mom, coz the last time i saw her, her mom had a medical condition, and she was amazed once more that i remembered. well, i guess mine is a selective memory. i remembered things that i think important, but others i can forget in a few minutes, i guess =P
we went to eat at Cafe Cartel. my first time there =P the food was nice. but the dinner session was too short xD shamane needs to go to a seminar with her mom after that, so we went our separate ways after dinner. we should go out again, sha! afterwards me and yang hit heeren, HMV 3rd floor, again. i was sorely tempted to use the hongbao that auntie gave me to get myself 2 boxes of those 'best collection' compilations which, at 20bucks for 5CDs, i think is a great bargain. but i couldn't decide which ones i should pick! beethoven's? tchaikovsky's? mozart's? vivaldi's? bach's? operas? ballets? baroque? which???? >____<> well since i couldn't decide, we left HMV empty-handed, again xD
at night, since sbass lost to the bet we had (regarding whether or not the ICA personnel would wish me a happy birthday), i had him explaining to me the code of the "weirdo skin" that i said i wanted to incorporate into my blog. i thought i've done enough staring at it and it's time to get someone to actually teach me how it worked. valuable information i received from him on that night. then somehow we got into discussion about the www. well, more like i threw him a mountain of questions, and he answered most of them for me xDDD the most unique birthday present i got this year perhaps: "knowledge" ^^ i learnt a LOT! thank you bass!! ^_____^
just now, went to eat with zek. for him, too, it's been ages since i last saw him... like 4 YEARS?? when i saw him, i thought he'd gotten taller and slimmer. apparently he'd gotten slimmer but not taller *bad memory* and apparently the last time i saw him, he hasn't put on weight, which he got rid of just recently. was listening to his story with much amazement, losing 22kg within 2 months is like super WOW~ O.O!! we ate at ice monster. merr brought me and mimi to the bugis one like last year, but i couldn't remember the sherbet being so delicious xD love the mangoes!! yumm~~
the idea was for me to 'pass on' my fashion knowledge to him coz he's such a fashion enthusiast. (much more than me, which is a shame coz he's not in the course and i am) but apparently it was me who received knowledge from him xDD sense of style is something born, not bred, and it's him who got it, not me. so we were like sitting outside cathay, eating bbq popcorn and watching people pass by, discussing their outfit and such. i didn't know that he's very into gothic lolita xD only got to know the fact AFTER we visited joyce at Digiskin and we passed by a shop called Alice Black which sells a lot of Baby The Stars Shine Bright stuff, which is joyce's favourite brand (more than h.naoto, i think?), and we were admiring a pair of gorgeous white-velvet shoes. if i had known earlier, i'd definitely introduced him to joyce much better than that xDD
now i feel like it's not a bad idea to time to meet up with old friends regularly, like a dinner every fortnight, and it felt kind of weird since i'm usually pretty anti-social =P hopefully the feeling stays when i come back after my holiday so that i can keep the "must meet up again, ok?" promises i made with them ^^
yosh, according to the western calendar, i'm officially 22 years old.
yesterday was spent leisurely ^^ before 12am, was watching Heroes with koko on his laptop. then hany came home and i got my second birthday wish. then i went online and i got more birthday wishes ^^ thank you all~
i spent the earlier part of my 1st day of being 22 watching House and talking to some people on msn. went to sleep, woke up late, and got a birthday present from Tegomass.
heehee... well it felt like a birthday present, coz they released their new song's PV, Ai Ai Gasa, which i got to watch on my birthday. the song feels similar like Kiss ~Kaerimichi no Love song, though even slower and even more ballad-y than Kiss. i thought "ugh, Kiss's PV is already like that... how would this new song's PV be...?"i thought, "can i stand the PV of this sweet sweet sweeter-than-sweet song???"
well it turned out to be pretty adorable =) despite the title and lyrics being sooooooo lovey-dovey plus the way both of them sing which is so sweeeeeeeet (tesshi's voice there is, oh my goodness, enough to melt my heart) the PV is not sickeningly-sweet as i thought it would be xD the little boy and girl are cute and tesshi and massu playing rainmaker-angels are cute (reminds me of yamapi during the last scene of Taiyou no Namida PV though)
either jani jimusho management has something AGAINST NEWS and simple refuse to let them stay at number 1 spot more than a week by setting KAT-TUN's single release so near after theirs or jani jimusho management has something FOR KAT-TUN and always want them to outshine and take the limelight out of NEWS by setting their single release so closely after NEWS's release.
either way, i'm irritated by them! (them as in janijimusho management)
*fumes*
oh.. hold on, i'm supposed to be for KAT-TUN now... or at least started my therapy to induce myself to like them...
right. will listen to them tonight. my sickness is getting worse... >_<>
it's not like my jrock side to get irritated by things like this... perhaps coz x japan is already legendary and very little bands can actually match up to their achievements. i'm a fan who's already used to feel proud for her idol's fame. i'm not used to my idols getting beaten in achievement by someone else especially whom i consider not above my idols' ability and talent, though they're originally formed earlier than them and, being koichi's (a johnny's daisenpai) backdancers, got more exposure than them (and though averaging about a year older than them) had officially debuted AFTER them!
i think i realised that i'm being brainwashed by the society and media into thinking that young=good. but we can't stay young forever, ne? one day, someday, you just have to face the mirror and say, let's face it, hana, you're old.
when will that day be, i wonder?
some jwebs that i've read talked about retaining a kid's heart (tesshi's, in fact) and the importance of it. people say that my age, especially the early 20s, is the time when we're most courageous (some say reckless) and some older people, upon thinking back, wondered where they got the courage to do what they did when they were in their 20s.
will that happen to me too, i wonder? o.O
the start of something new, the end of something else, meeting up of new people, separation from old friends, birth of someone, death of other ones... life is truly a circle, ne?
life experiences, i'm still lacking much of it. unlike the westerners who leave house at 18, most asians don't leave home til they're...married? even for foreign students like us, like me, who've been away from home for 10 years, i still haven't started living independently, no?
when will i be able to be independent, i wonder?
the world is a big place, ne. but the way we would life our lives basically depends on 2 choices: we can choose to go to the big world out there, or stay close to our roots. to go to other countries we've been fascinated about and explore and live each day as it comes, eventhough we may not end up in a good fate, or to stay and build our lives slowly at one designated place where we can live slowly, peacefully, surrounded by comfortable people, places, society.
today had dinner with merr, mimi, shan-shan and her bf joshua. joyce was supposed to eat with us, but she's working with no fixed dinner break time, so she couldn't. we ate at the $1/plate sushi restaurant at cathay, Nihon Mura. it was already my 3rd time there, but their firsts. the new system of obtaining and ordering food is a bit unique, and the ambience was nice inside the restaurant.
what was i trying to say? err... well, yea, it's just a description of how the dinner was like xD we talked about many things, school, work, work, school, basically the 2 closest things to our hearts now xD we also talked a bit about plans of meeting up for holiday to bromo-yogya-bali-lombok like what yifan (mimi's bf) wanted to do. since shan2 and joshua are planning to go to jakarta, and the jakartan kids (i.e. me nad merr) really don't see the purpose of coming to such a boring city, we proposed to meet up with mimi and yifan and have a holiday trip together ^^ now what's left is the date of shan/josua coming and mimi/yifan's trip. hopefully they match up...
joshua also gave us alot of advice about work, about contract and bonds and so on. i don't have to deal with those now since i'm continuing with degree, but i think by next year those stuff will be stressing me out, kinda, just like what mimi is experiencing now. honestly, how would a fashion designer survive in singapore, i wouldn't know.
my dear juniors, or those who are thinking of doing fashion design studies, please think twice about your choice, coz honestly the designers that can survive in singapore are mostly graphics and interiors -_-;;;; not fashion...
but anyway, after dinner it felt like christmas xD coz i gave mimi and merr their long-due birthday presents, and they gave me an early birthday present =DD it really felt like exchanging gifts in xmas time, lol xD i'm not supposed to open mine til my birthday tho...=p and they said that "if you don't like one of it, you can change it" =D yey! can't wait for my birthday ^o^
after dinner and parting with shan-shan and her bf, i went to starbucks for coffee with mimi and merr. we were just walking out of cathay, then suddenly merr asked us to sit, and i said it's hot to sit outside, and why don't we just get a coffee at starbucks or something, and we wanted to use the vouchers we have from Gloria Jeans, seeing that today's the last day, but since Gloria Jeans is quite far we decided to go to the Starbucks at cathay instead.
(my, that's the longest sentence i've ever written, perhaps? though maybe not gramatically or structurally correct xDD)
the americano i ordered reminded me so much of that memorable cup of coffee that i shared with shared with suf from delifrance 4 years ago (oh my freakin goodness, my first-3-months at PJC is so long ago already!!) tasted horrible *bleh* definitely NOT for me -__-;;; i ordered something else straight away. then we chatted and talked until 11pm.
then we parted to go home. it felt like a scene in Nobuta wo Produce when shuji, akira and nobuta separated on their way home at a junction, each going to a different direction xD like us, just now, we parted at the traffic light near hotel rendezvous. mimi went to YMCA, merr proceeded towards hotel rendezvous while i walked to the NTUC income prinsep st.
tomorrow i'll be meeting them again though. dira wanted to make a yukata, and i want to borrow her pattern ^^)v if i already have a pattern, then making them in the future for natsu matsuri would be easy, ne? nat, i can make you one for your birthday present too xD choose your own fabric though xD heh heh heh...
my blog needs a revamp. i've been staring at a new code from blogskins and comparing it with my current layout template so that i can understand how it works, so that i can somehow incorporate the interesting elements into my blog without needing to change the structure of my blog so much. but, i guess if staring and scrutinising is all we need to do to understand html codes, there's no need for IT lessons and such, ne... v_v but i'm still staring at it... i want to learn! can someone teach me??? T_T
this is the blogskin which codes i'm staring at: weirdo skin, it's called. the elements i want to incorporate into my blog is the navigating page elements by typing it out. but i don't want them to be added one onto another. i still want to retain the majority part of my current layout, but i want to add a small element of that skin onto my current layout. but, stare it as i might, i still can't figure out how to do it.... *sigh*
yappari, i should've gone into graphic design, ne? v_v
anyway. coffee doesn't have any impact on me. and since i've been sleeping when the first bus comes for this few weeks, and since i will be going home soon, perhaps i shouldn't sleep tonight, and finish watching inuyasha or maple or something...? but anyway now i'm off to watch house xD let's finish season 2 tonight~~
seems like the people's lives around me are full of drama... when i'm in school, the drama is romance-themed. especially revolving around my friends' boyfriends. there's always a story. always. and you know what, when 2 girlfriends or more meet, there would be a drama medley, one that i can only be a listener, not participant.
oh btw, sidetracking for a moment, recently i've been introduced to more boyfriends than newfriends o.O shan-shan's boyfriend and joyce's new short-lived-dun-what-happened-actually boyfriend... but too bad none of those boyfriends i can call my own xD
then at home, the drama genre switch to josei/school/friendship. you don't know how much i know about the social circle of a certain school, eventhough i've never even stepped onto the school itself. the power of the word, eh? i mean the power of gossip xD again, i'm only a watcher, i mean listener, as my sis tells me what happened between what and what, who and who, whatever. the climax of each season's drama is always around exam and assignment deadline period, when people's true colour usually show up and shocking incidents happen that i only thought wouldn't happen outside the reel world.
then... should i be happy that my life is lacking of drama? coz drama means there's a story, and the basis of a story is usually a problem (remembering my english teacher teaching us the basic elements of a narrative story) and since this is real world, those problems may not see a conclusion, which sucks. so drama-less life = peaceful life? or maybe i'm too full of my own world to actually see the drama that is involving me?
maybe if my life is a drama, let's say, hana kimi, i will just be one of those people who're in it but whose presence is not important anyway, like the room-mate of nanba-senpai (i've never actually seen him, both in drama and in manga xDDD) or the maid of tsukasa in hanayori dango, or a student from other class in gachi baka (definitely one of those who gave a chocolate to minoru though xDDD hohoho) or the person who's living next to akira's soyabean shop in nobuta wo produce, or one of the supporters of the scorpions in pride...
actually, those characters don't even exist, ne? yea, that's what i am. their story may reach me, but don't involve me. hmmm...
one of my teachers said that "singapore is too peaceful. if there's no friction in your life, there's no spark that can inspire you to design better", or something. in fact it was jonathan who said that, i think. which i think is true.
a prove of that is my fanfiction. i wrote the first version when i was in the middle of doing my A's, coz i was too stressed. i still remembered how much i could write in a single go back then, and how smoothly my words form the sentences in a structure that i wanted, conveying the feel of what i wanted to say perfectly. but afterwards, after A's was done, the progress of the fanfic decrease exponentially, and now i've left it to embark upon the second version xDDD which, looking at the still-frictionless-and-still-stressless life that i have, still haven't been triggered to start into actual story.
though i'm having fun planning and writing "possible scenario" texts ^^
but anyway. since my life is drama-less, i'm nosey about other people's drama. i have enough exposure to romance genre, now i want to hear more from josei/friendship genre please =P
i'm suffering from a very severe and painful case of backache. upper backache. it's so painful that my shoulders are stiff right now. and the funny thing is, i got them while i was trying to stretch my spine and stopped in the middle and didn't complete the stretching o.o manz... it sucks to have backache...
yosh, yesterday i placed an order for both Never Ending Wonderful Story and Ai Ai Gasa. asked hany, "which one should we buy, taiwan version or japanese version?" "what's the difference?" "taiwan version is 40bucks... japanese version is 83 bucks O.o" "japanese version aja"
yosh, i'm happy she sees things like me xDDD so japanese version it is! the down thing is, i didn't choose split shipment, and since Ai Ai Gasa is still not released yet, we'd only receive the package in july o.O! may as well wait for another week so that i can ship my Noble album together, right? -_-;;
i haven't packed my stuff... usually after assessment i will pack my stuff and keep the junks in a place so that when i come back from holiday i can start the new semester with a clean table and neat drawers and cupboard. will do so...as soon as my backache heals >_<>
literally went out and shopped for stuff! usually i don't shop for my clothes in singapore, nor for my shoes, bags, or whatever essentials. usually when i shopped, i shopped for my beloved junks i.e. my idol stuff, CDs (make up about 40% of my beloved junk collection) jrock music magazines (make up about another 40% of my beloved junk collection!), pictures, and so on. i also shop for second hand books, like $1 novels that i always get in bras basah.
but today, out of necessities, i really shopped for stuff! and because of that, i managed to finish shopping for all the birthday presents i haven't managed to give to my friends for the first half of this year ^.^ thanks to obachan who had accompanied me throughout the day hunting for stuff in orchard and PS ^.^ though i kinda dragged her and 'jailed' her inside mise*clusive for a long time while i switched on my "massu mode" and took my own sweet time feasting my eyes on all the johnny's groups inside and choosing 6 pictures to buy xD gomennasai obachan! arigatou gozaimashita!! osewani narimashita!! ^_______^
by the way, the pictures ^^ i have most of them in my computer already, and some as big as my screen (19" btw) but when i go back home, i won't be able to stare at my computer screen as it goes on screen saver mode (yea, this is how i always 'watch' those pics, during screen saver mode xD) and so, i bought a few to accompany me back home xD
and right now i'm embarking on my journey to like kat-tun. yep. it's either that, or slowly but surely i will start hating them, and when the process started, there will be no turning back >_<> not really a pleasant situation i'd want to get into, especially since there's already a jani jimusho group that i don't particularly like. *coughskanjanieightcoughs* i don't want to have even more 'enemies' in the jani jimusho fandom coz girls are scary -_- i know i am, when i'm pissed, so as much as possible i don't want to feel the wrath of another girl, and so i will make myself a kat-tun fan too. after all it'll be easier for me not to look at kame with a mixed feeling of adore and hatred, ne? o.O
on top of not wanting to have more enemies, i'm also a bit curious as to why i'm not attracted to them -_- by right, kat-tun whose songs are more upbeat and rockish should appeal more to my rocker side, ne? *coughsperhapsit'sbecausetheirbestvocalistisnowherenearasgoodastegorincoughs* *coughsandkameisonlyasgoodasyamapicoughs* i've listened to some of their songs in music station, again not the best place to start listening to someone new since they sing live (and there are rarely any good live singers in jani jimusho), but i kinda like what i've heard, mainly yorokobi no uta, and the new one don't u ever stop wasn't so bad either. i don't think i will start listening to their solos...just yet, no. i will start liking the whole group as one first, THEN move on to the members.
but no worries, NEWS, as you will never be replaced as number 1!
...in my JPop list ONLY! >_<>
SO! any request for any KAT-TUN song to be put up here in my blog? ^^
first thing first, thank you obachan and tony for the CDs!!!! (o^__^o) *bows* arigatou gozaimasu!!!
yesterday went for the second cash studio session with obachan and hany. we went for the one at orchard instead of apollo centre. cheeheehee took loads of videos with my phone that definitely won't make it anywhere else other than my hard disk xDDDD
hilarious session whereby we discover that as much as we, or perhaps I, claim that i know NEWS songs well enough to start getting bored with some of them, apparently i don't know them well enough to be able to sing everything they got to offer xD hany spent most of her time reading the cheat sheets and getting confused and not singing anyway while obachan spent her time choosing songs, or trying to find songs that she can sing, or maybe trying to find songs that she might recognise what songs they are from the writings xDDDD manz....
though i said that, i also realised that 3-people session of karaoke is not as fun as 4-people, especially when out of 3 people 1 cannot read japanese o.O and all didn't listen to jpop/jrock songs well enough to be able to choose any old song from the book and able to sing it out. and because i literally kind of dragged hany with me, she wasn't that enthusiastic about it, and she can't help it since she can't read anything anyway, and i felt pretty much disheartened by it. next time, no more dragging people who might not want to go, or might not be able to enjoy themselves, with me v__v
we should go again after practising HARD all the NEWS songs, writing the songs that we might want to sing (like dira did for the previous ocassion) and preparing the cheat sheets for those songs. too bad the next session won't be for at least a couple of months *sigh*
anyway. hmm... what shall i update about? oh, i just spent the whole afternoon editing NEWS page in wikipedia xD well not much changes, other than looking up their singles positions in the United World Chart and putting them in the page, complete with the reference pages. btw i just want to say that tambah baca kattun punya page bikin gw tambah bete...coz apparently their achievements sound so much better than news when in my humble eyes and ears news has so much better members and voices, especially voices! just because of the uchi-kusano scandal and their hiatus and there's only yamapi as their selling point if compared to akame in kattun..it's so unfair! sebel sebel sebel sebel sebel!
NEWS!!! rise and shine!!! those that slowly climb their way up will be able to stay up there longer! right? *hears only the good stuff* right!! ganbatte ne!! akiramenai yo!!!!!!FAITOOOOO!!!!!!! *burning spirit*
oh yes, i began watching House M.D. again. the last time i left it because...i couldn't remember why xD but i left it at season 2, so now i'm continuing with season 2. i've cleanly forgotten how witty house and his sometimes-annoying-but-othertimes-funny crew are xD and i've also cleanly forgotten that watching house while eating might not be a good idea, really...
oh yes, i also watched Neo Angelique Abyss, first episode. duno what the story is about. during the entire episode i kept shivering, the kind that tesshi and kei-chan described when they watched shige xD cheesy character, too expected development, definitely not original and pretty boring voice acting, sailor-moon-ish incident and effect, i felt my left eyebrow frozen in a raised position throughout the 20 minutes... -_-;;;
but why i wanted to watch it in the first place? well, all for the sake of the ending song, of course ^^ ufufufufu~ all bad comments were washed away as i heard massu sang "yamanai ame da ne kimi wa utsumuita~~~" awwww..... ^_________________^
yea yea, i know i'm mad... but the Ai Ai Kasa that i heard from youtube wasn't in such a good quality v____v it's much better when i'm listening straight from the anime ^^ so... yea hehe...
if hany gets home tonight, i shall place the order for Ai Ai Kasa and Never Ending Wonderful Story. and, if possible, Noble too.
i didn't know when i got all these files, but actually i have many "tegoshi solos" sort of mp3s... what with hitoribocchinantoka (Tokio's cover), you the world is yours, ai no melody (V6 cover), over (composed with shige) and whatever other things. i happened not to remember this one called "hakka candy - massu & tego" sounded like, so i clicked on it and listened to it.
.......... eugh?
........... perhaps the worst tegomass performance i had ever listened to...
i was VERY curious then. it's clearly a cover song, for i've never heard it anywhere else on their singles before. who could've sung such a song that even tegomass can't sing properly??? i know i sounded high-n-mighty and bitchy and whatever but that was honestly my initial reaction when i listened to the song. yes, my expectation for them is that high. so i looked it up in google.
kinki kids cover. with a youtube link attached. how convenient. click.
..........
i have said this to obachan before: "i think tegomass is the best singing duet in JE"
now i want to humbly, completely, with full apology, retract that comment.
well, Kinki Kids wouldn't be where they are now if they're just selling image, ne? sasuga senpai who've been in the industry even before tegomass joined jani jimusho...
here's Kinki Kids - Hakka Candy.
as for the tegomass cover, no i won't attach the link. i still hope they would re-work on this song coz i truly believe that what they've sung before didn't reflect fully on their ability and that they can do a much, MUCH better performance than that. please, tegomass, re-work on this song, Hakka Candy, and perform it again! it's such a nice song!!
holiday week 3 day 5: discovering the wonderful world of NEWS jwebs part II
yosh i've started reading shige's jwebs. as expected of shige, the entries are not easy to be understood. it's not characteristically in-depth like ryo-chan's but the sentence structure and the way he writes is bit unusual. moreover, sometimes he writes as a 3rd person speaking as he observed the activities of kato shigeaki. his jweb title, "the return of wagahai shige de aru" is supposedly written by a cat who oversees his daily activities. unusual eh? ^^
from what little i've read (i've just only started reading), just as kei-chan's entries talk a lot about shige, shige's entries talk a lot about kei-chan, and it cracked me up a lot! xDDDD the 2 of them are really the joker pair, with kei-chan as the baka one, i suppose xDDD but, just as tesshi comfortably calls him "kei-chaaaan", the way shige talk about kei-chan doesn't reflect their age difference too. it's nice to see them writing about each other in such comfortable manner.
perhaps shige's jweb is the closest to a normal person as can be. unlike the rest who were burdened with work after work even during NEWS's hiatus, shige went to school, attended classes, woke up early during day off and wrote about anything under the sun just as any normal student would (when they've nothing better to write about).
still my fave jweb is kei-chan's ^^ hope to read more, kei-chan!
tomorrow will be the next cash studio session! i have to take into consideration the songs that hany might be able to sing and prepare the lyrics -_-;; but i hope the csh studio at orchard will have newer NEWS songs, hopefully with pacific album included inside ^^ let's hope for the best!
this weekend will go shopping for all the birthday presents i've owed people this year o.O and wednesday, if all goes well, i'll go back home, after placing an order for Ai Ai Gasa. hopefully by then i still have enough money to buy Versailles's Noble too!
holiday week 3 day 5: discovering the wonderful world of NEWS jwebs
obachan said she found kei-chan's jewb translations sometime ago, and we've been constantly updated with pi-chan's from the Yamashita Tomohisa facebook owner. but what about the rest?
well today, while i was browsing through some of the websites that i saved under my "NEWS related" favourites, i was linked to Binan no Nikki, a website which translates a lot of jweb entries of many johnny's, including NEWS, KAT-TUN and some Kinki Kids. and since that click, i haven't moved from the website to do anything else other than reading xDDDD
for the first time, i got the chance to read tesshi's jweb entries! they were really really old, like when he was filming Gachi Baka and My Boss My Hero, which were in 2006, but enjoyable nonetheless. the contents were mostly about drama filming, going out to play with massu, shige or kei-chan and so on. from the entries, i got the feeling that although he might be closest friend with massu (because of work?), he hangs out equally often with shige, and not less often with kei-chan too. sometimes he refers to ryo as nishikido-kun, and sometimes, affectionately, as ryo-sama xD yamapi is very seldom mentioned, and he's consistently called yamashita-kun, or -san, i can't remember.
massu's jwebs were mostly linked with food xD it's quite unusual for me to read jweb entries, which i see as blog entries, that mentioned food as much as his. but apart from that, he also talked randomly about other things, ne? i think if i have to make comparison, reading his jweb felt a little like reading paul twohill's blog during singapore idol 2 time. well i guess even lesser people would've read that, ne -_- sometimes he went off and said funny stuff, random stuff, like "ma ma ma masuda" or something, which is really cute and really massu ^^ and, just like tesshi's his were full with emoticons xD
ryo's jweb were the least among all, only 22 under his tag. but the 22 that he wrote reflected his personality much more than tesshi's O.O he talked a lot. sometimes not even coherently, but by reading i got to see that "oh, ryo is this kind of person" or "oh, so this is how he thinks" and stuff like that. out of the 22, he even managed to write a short 'introduction' of each members from his point of view. sometimes his words were harsh, and yet on another sentence you feel that he's really gentle. sounds just like nishikido-kun that everyone describes, huh? ^^
i haven't read many of shige's, apart from the posts tagged under NEWS, so i can't say much about it. and now that i've read about the other members' jwebs, pi-chan's entries felt somewhat short xDD and, it felt like he's the furthest away from the rest, as in he didn't mention them very much in his entries, and the rest also didn't mention him very much in their entries. it's a bit sad...
but, the highlight of my reading so far must be kei-chan's entries. with a whopping number of 194 entries, just 6 short of pi-chan's 200 entries, dating from waaay back to early of this year, his had been the most rewarding texts i've read in that site. the translators kept to the original number of jweb that he wrote, though they didn't translate everything, so by now kei-chan's original jweb entries had already reached 285 or something.
through kei-chan's Member Love entries (that's the title of his jweb), i get to read a lot about the happenings in NEWS, shige, his school, shige, his nephew, shige, his other work, shige... it seemed that kei-chan is the closest to shige!! and tesshi too, and not seldom hangs out with massu as well. more recent entries had talked about koya-ryo-yama-shige outings too, though. he also talked a lot about people from his other work, stage plays and all. a very thorough and rewarding blog entries to read ^^
surprisingly it was kei-chan who kept using tesshi's petnames like "tegorin" or "tego-nyan", not ryo, and it also seemed like kei-chan was the first to start calling tesshi "harmlessly self-centered" xD he often talked about him, and from the way he told his story, it really does look like tesshi's self-centered, without the intention to be so xD and from his entries, it really felt like kei-chan dotes on tesshi a lot. with shige, he's comfortable enough to start scolding him, but it only showed that he's that close with shige, ne? and with massu, sometimes he sounded amused, but really liked him a lot too. as for ryo and pi-chan, it felt more like respect and admiration besides liking them a lot too, nonetheless.
just like what his jweb titles as, it really felt like kei-chan loves all NEWS members with all of his heart. even ryo admitted it so.
last time i was talking to hany about choosing yamapi vs kei-chan as candidate bf or husband. i said that pi-chan is more the knight-in-shining armour type, fairy-tale-y too good to be true. kei-chan, though not as good looking, and doesn't possess such a mega-idol charm, radiates a real-ness that pi-chan lacks. he gives off the feeling of a genuinely real person, he shares his weakness, he has school problems, someone not from a different world than me, but someone whom i can connect with... it's hard to put it into words, but that's how he became my 3rd fave NEWS member in terms of character (not voice quality ^^) he's just felt real.
anyway... i'm not allowed to repost anything from that website here so i can't share the contents with you, but i'll recommend you going there yourself and start reading ^^ i'll be reading shige's jwebs when i'm done with kei-chan's. i've been at it for hours and not finished! sasuga kei-chan...
when i watched Hey! Say! JUMP's Ultra Music Power MV making with hany, i was more or less already introduced to these heisei boys, and i already watched the earlier Hey! Say! 7's Hey Say MV making, so i know who were who, to a certain extent...
if you'd recall, original Hey! Say! 7 members were: chinen, yamada, nakajima, arioka and takaki. out of these 5, chinen, yamada and nakajima remains at Hey! Say! 7 subgroup while arioka and takaki went to Hey! Say! Best subgroup. 5 other people came to make up the current Hey! Say! JUMP lineup. out of these 5 newcomer, i knew 3 of them; one was youngest member, morimoto, the other 2 were big in Ya-Ya-Yah, yabu and hikaru. i always regard the original Hey! Say! 7 as the original and the Ya-Ya-Yah people as the newcomer, perhaps because they retain the Hey! Say! name instead of the Ya-Ya-Yah name, no offense to ya-ya-yah fans.
anyway, that was the state of things when i watched the UMP MV making with hany. if you do the calculations, there are 2 people whom i really have no idea about, 1 from each subgroup.
so, while we watched, and i 'introduced' this group and the people to hany *cieh xDD* i kept mentioning "ok this one i duno" whenever those unknown people appear. since i duno then, automatically hany, who was receiving information from me, also wouldn't knwo them. so after a while, hany came up with nicknames for those 2 people.
"satu yang jelek," refers to the unknown one in 7. "satu yang ga kliatan," refers to the unknown one in BEST.
i think we were being cruel but xDDD my cruel self agreed to a great extent. especially for the BEST one, who, i found after wikipedia-ing, is called Inoo Kei. in the MV making, he was one of the most insignificant person around -_-;; which is a pity, coz after watching their PVs, i found that he's cute =D personally i like his smiling face, while for arioka i like his eyes ^^
anyway, this performance was the cause of me writing this:

holiday week 3 day 4: preparing for the second Cash Studio session
warning: in NEWS mode! anything and everything written in this post is about NEWS! muahahaha xDD
am at home, slacking, installed firefox, and now am enjoying the "download option" button accompanying every veoh videos that i watched (read: no need to open veoh TV software to download) so you can easily guess that i'm in a bliss now xD
now i'm watching the older NEWS PVs, i mean NewS. starting from Akaku Moruyu Taiyou, Kibou Yell, News Nippon, Teppen... these were my thoughts, all were quite amusingly illuminating:
1. when i was listening to those songs in my iPod, and all earlier NewS's singles, i noticed very very clearly that yamapi ALWAYS get to sing the first verses, and often the bridge parts too. when i was watching the videos, i realised (with a giggle) that earlier NewS looked more like a group of background dancer and singer for yamapi xD especially for Akaku Moruyu Taiyou (AMT).
hany said, although she likes yamapi very much, she hated it when he gets special clothes and treated differently than the rest, and i said "their costumes are designed to look similar but different anyway, it's not necessarily yamapi always get different clothes." right, that was before i watched AMT =P
2. it's VERY hard to catch glimpses of tesshi in the earlier PVs! especially when they were dancing. i laughed when i realised that when they were dancing, he was always placed at the furthest point of the camera's reach, just as yamapi is always the centre and focus of the camera. in AMT, Teppen, and Kibou Yell, respectively, their formation was like:
camera 1 - 2 - 3 4 - 5 6 - - -7 8
camera 1 - 2 - 3 4-5-6 8-7
camera 2 1 - 3 4 - - 5 6 - - - - 7 8 - - - - - .
guess who's standing at 2 and who's at 8? right, pi-chan and tesshi respectively xD but in Kibou Yell's other scenes it's quite easy to catch him, perhaps because he (and massu) was placed so near pi-chan ^^
3. moriuchi was only with them for a single, but during that single, he already secured a strong vocal part. in News Nippon, he was the background singer for those "yeaaa~ we make a big news it's alright~~~" and all. in Arigatou Ima, which was like highlighting the best 3 singers of NewS at the time (an accomplishment, i'd say, to be able to have such a song on their debut single), he sang the majority part.
but after News Nippon, his part was like being transferred to tesshi (Kibou Yell and Teppen). heard everywhere, seen nowhere, the sad job of a background singer xD ok la, not really seen nowhere, but still...
4. now i understand why the jani jimusho management said something like uchi and kusano was a double disappointment because they were looked up to in NewS. yeah, looking at those PVs up there, i think kei-chan and shige were the least significant. uchi was given more screen time, obviously coz he's very good looking while kusano gets more vocal parts, not to mention dancing part, than koyashige pair. tegomass gets more singing parts than koyashige too, and sometimes they were placed right behind the camera's focal point (read: yamapi!), thus even the then-still-noob tesshi was seen more frequently and more significantly (read: while singing, not doing something else) than koyashige.
5. since earlier on, the pairing was like this: ryo-uchi, koya-shige-notti, tego-massu, and pi-chan xD LOL... in kibou yell and akaku moruyu taiyou i think pi-chan appeared with tegomass. after kusano and uchi left, then the famous ryopi pair was formed.
if ever kusano and uchi come back, it'd be impossible to revert back to the original pairings, i'd say.
6. Akaku Moruyu Taiyou PV was very cool, waay cool! i love dance-filled PVs, and performances! if only pi-han didn't get such an obvious special treatement that put a shadow upon the rest... Kibou Yell was cute, but....felt somewhat empty v_v what with them waving the NewS flag, it feels a bit cheesy. News Nippon PV was downright confusing coz there were too many people... Teppen PV was fun! especially watching the boys jumping furiously on the water-flooded floor and thus splashing water everywhere with every jump xD
7. *giggles* alright i'm watcing Sayaendou the NEWS animated version now. LOL! i just realised that those little cartoon characters were actually news members themselves! and on top of massu's hat there was a chicken thigh! and after they met the bad guy, and jumped down from the ship with a treasure chest on top of their heads respectively, massu has a PIG instead of a treasure chest XDDDD LOL
and, correct me if i'm wrong, but Sayaendou's bridge part was only tesshi's second major screen time in news's PVs until that time. the first one being in Cherish, but that was also cut down in half *furious* how could they refused to show him close-up on screen after massu and ryo sang the first 2 verses -_-;; and before cherish, it was like he was always sharing screen time with someone else, and definitely never gets the bridge for himself.
holiday week 3 day 4: another slacking day at home
i finally change to mozilla firefox after surfthechannel.com recommended not to use IE to watch their stuff.
For those who might wonder what it would sound like if Tegomass had sung Hoshi wo Mezashite instead of NEWS =P look out for the dancers in rich red costumes, esp the one dancing near massu (yama-chan) and the one near tesshi (yuuto)

holiday week 3 day 3: i'm *almost* a PR!
finally yesterday went to ICA and submitted my PR formalties. went at 11am. went to 4th floor. queued about 5m for my pic to get taken, it took about...half an hour? or more? then went to get my queue number. the queue there was about 30m long. when i finally reached the person, she saw my student pass and asked me to get it cancelled. i explained that my PR invitation is valid during my course of study. then they (2 ladies) asked, "so then, what do you want us to do?" heh????? isn't it me who's supposed to say that???? only after insisting that i DON'T HAVE to cancel my student pass that the malay lady said, "PR is 5th floor". great. NOW she told me -_-...
went up. the queue was like a snake, so i couldn't judge how long it was. got my number. C272. "the number of people in the queue: 81" great! i was practicaly sitting my sore butt out for 7 hours in ICA yesterday >_<> poor butt.... when i finally got my PR certificate, outside the waiting hall was dark and the cleaners had finished cleaning the place... oh my goodness i feel so sad for myself.
people who wants to go to ICA and do stuff, better come at 8am in the morning! -_-::::
went to school after that. took bus to Bugis and walked to my school. hey, it was near and easy! my steps were light, my walking speed was fast and yet i didn't feel strains on my calves or legs. i was pondering why i hated walking so much, that the distance between bugis junction and my school felt so long and hard during school days. kept thinking about it.... (to be continued until *)
in G503, met juffry and firdaus. they left while wishing me "take cae, and don't forget us". well, i think i should be the one saying that, since those people are the ones, i felt, are going to make it big in the future =) fished my stuff out... couldn't find the booklet i did for helene. would need to come back another day, wait til most of the stuff are cleared, and try to look for it again. if dun have *shrugs* i have the soft copy anyway.
so in total, i packed my: A3 portfolio, A4 journal, A4 pattern drafting file, CPJ, and 3 garments (2 toiles and 1 final) into my ugly-but-useful pillow bag. i picked it up *huffhs* FREAKIN HEAVY!!!!
* by the time i took the lift down and walked across the school ground i realised that usually i walk around with this kind of stuff with me. at the very least, i'd have my pencil case AND my journal OR file, depending on what class i have on that day. and it put extra strain on my legs when i walk fast, which was why i always hated walking and preferred to take bus anywhere and everywhere. hmm..
but yesterday i endured several extra minutes of carrying that burden and i took bus home. the first time i took a bus home after so many assessments, i guess. for the earlier 3 assessments, i always took taxi, to and from school during and after assessment, due to the amount of work i need to submit.
so now, what's left for me to do in singapore is: to collect my IC. which is on the 20th May. aarghhhh!!! i was planning to go home this weekend too!!! xOOOOO maddening... but, well, there are some promises that i still have with joyce and shan2 to go genting and dinner/lunch together, and mimi and merr's bdae presents which i haven't started hunting, and the promise to go st james with rhesa (though i doubt she still remembers xD)...
so many promises... made during those days when the answer of "nanti abis assessment" felt so sweet and happy... xD the post-assessment period should be the time to have fun and stuff, but somehow i developed a great inertia and i just want to stay here, in front of my comp, doing nothing everyday xDDD bad hana...
oops, i need to get ready for choir with obachan tonight. jyaa~~
ps: btw... i found a great site with magz scans for duet, wink-up, potato and tv guide. i was searching for the november'07 tv guide scans to look for this pic :
pay attention to the circled pic with exclamation mark, for that was the sole reason i was searching it throughout the www xD
teehee, i'm now fishing for any lovey-dovy pics of tesshi with everyone xD remember i have pi-chan kissing him as part of my yamapi theme? now i'm looking for more of such pics (or similar) to make a tesshi theme ^^ i have him with pi-chan, shige, kei-chan (the most! xDD) but couldn't find many with ryo, so i really want to have the above scan out. who knows that there was a fansite out there who makes it virtually possible for us to have these lovely pics even when we missed buying a magazine for that month ^^ many thanks for agtoro scans, i'm loving her as much as i do Newshfan xD
now i'm fishing for such pose of tegomass, because even though they're a group and have many shoots together, almost all of them are.....not satisfactorily lovey-dovey enough xD
okay hana is going more crazy, only dira would understand what i'm talking about now xDDDD
talking about lovey-dovey pose, was watching hoshi wo mezashite DVD with obachan the other day, the one i said about tesshi's interview being the most interesting practically because everyone came together and disturbed him (all except ryo, in fact). apparently obachan had never seen the segment of koyatego date before, and she was quite speechless (that being the more polite word xD) when she saw that xD while me, i wished it had been longer xDDDDD
and then, when we watched never ending wonderful story, subbed by newshfan, after one of the concerts when the members were coming into backstage, kei-chan appeared shoulder to shoulder with tesshi, and she exclaimed, "iih, berduaan emang sering gitu yagh? tapi cocok xDD" LOL....
tesshi might be closest friend with massu, doted on by ryo-chan, taken care of by shige, but i think he's cutest when he's with funny kei-chan xD whileas with pi.... hmmm.... after all, is it still senpai-kouhai kind of relationship? i hope not ^^
i haven't started writing my fanfic yet. still on the fun stage of developing history, characters, relationship and possible main story. yappari, gemini girl is a dreamer, ne? ~^^~
heh heh... i just cancelled my order for both Ai Ai Gasa and Summer Time from cdjapan.
before i explain why, let me just vent my frustration at jani jimusho management who loves to make things complicated by releasing 2 similar-but-different versions of their kids singles and making the fans frustrated because they have to get 2 similar singles if they don't want to miss a small portion of either single, which they would if they only buy either version of the single!
see, even writing it down in sentences is confusing! *grrr*
firstly, let's talk about Summer Time. look at their contents:
Summer Time Regular: 1. Summer Time 2. Easy Come Easy Go 3. Baby! Be My Baby ---> upon listening to the song, i think it's rightfully should be called: ( Babe! Be My Baby)
Summer Time Limited Edition: 1. Summer Time 2. Easy Come Easy Go 3. Liar 4. Summer Time (original karaoke)
now, cdjapan offers them both at the SAME price. but which one would you get? 4 songs? or 3 songs? obviously 4 songs right, some of you might say. BUT, apparently i like Baby! Be My Baby much much much better than Liar. but, being karaoke and singing junkie, i'd love to get the original karaoke version too! why can't they put everything together for goodness sake???? *punches and kicks the jani jimusho management head*
now take a look at Ai Ai Gasa, Tegomass's 3rd single, which content i just found out from yesasia website. cdjapan, weirdly, doesn't show the content of the single at all.....
Ai Ai Gasa Regular: 1. Ai Ai Gasa 2. Bokura no Uta 3. Moshi mo Boku ga Pochi dattara 4. Boku no Cinderella 5. Ai Ai Gasa (original karaoke)
Ai Ai Gasa Limited Edition: 1. Ai Ai Gasa 2. Bokura no Uta 3. Moshi mo Boku ga Pochi dattara + DVD: about 30 minutes of MV and footage of behind the scene of making the MV
in yesasia, reg edition: 16bucks, limited edition: 23 bucks. in cdjapan the reg edition: 19 bucks, limited edition: 23 bucks.
i announce to the world that i like tesshi's voice, and the reason why i like NEWS in the first place was because of his voice. it seemed just a freakin natural and obvious thing for me to buy the regular edition because it contains more songs, right? but why can't i also have the DVD with the MV and the footage of the MV??? i like them and i want to support them and i've shown all these by buying the single, but why can't i have BOTH the complete songs AND the DVD??????
freakin hell..... *punches and kicks and mutilates jani jimusho management head*
i'm gonna order from yesasia instead, and get both regular editions for both singles. and, i'll tell you this, jani jimusho management, you're encouraging people to get the video and the songs from youtube!! and everywhere else available!! *fumes*
quotes of the day: hany: they're trying to make people buy 2 singles. that is under marketing! me: that is under irritating! not marketing! -_-;;;;;
holiday week 2 day 6: Summer Time by NEWS reach number 1 best selling single of the week!
10.47 pm: scared...
just watched Music Station 9th May 2008, feat NEWS. their new single, Summer Time, was released JUST A DAY earlier on, on the 8th May. i was very worried when they were revealing slowly one by one the single ranking, very very worried indeed. obachan would understand, i've spoken to her once about this matter... it's a sensitive issue which includes the matter of kusano and uchi so i don't think i'll talk about it here. but anyway i was so.. so... so worried that while they took a 'break' from the single ranking and moved on to other rankings before revealing the top 3, i felt my heartbeat increased xD
and when it was "Number One" and i heard Summer Time playing at background, i was like "YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" xDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
number 1 spot within 1 day release! banzai! xDD NEWS no minna san, omedetou gozaimasu!
at first i forgot their release date and thought that it was on the day itself (9th may), so i went to cdjapan to check the release date. and guess what i found?
tegomass's 3rd single, Ai Ai Gasa, release date is finally revealed!! it's set to be released on 18th june! and i placed an order for it straight away..
...oops?
xDD it was an impulse buy (or impulse click, more like xD) pumped by the adrenaline rush that was still in my blood when i did it. upon further thinking, would i rather buy the regular edition which includes a bonus track and an original karaoke, or would i buy the limited edition which would include a DVD?
well... i would like to have both xD and since i could always count on HMV to import the regular edition into singapore, and perhaps other countries' version (hong kong or taiwan or korea) which usually offers lower price, i guess the limited edition order was quite a justified decision, ne?
oh btw i also ordered the Summer Time limited edition alongside with Ai Ai Gasa xD
this one is an impulse buy which i can find no reason for justification xDDDD oh well....
earlier on i tried to order Versailles new album, Noble, which apparently goes on sale on 9th July, together with the Summer Time limited edition. but cdjapan said that they can't reserve Summer Time for such a long time and asked me to separate my order into 2 shipments. well, cdjapan's shipment is not exactly cheap if compared to other websites (like hmv or yesasia) so i was kinda reluctant, and in the end i didn't confirm my order -_-;;
but just now, they didn't ask me to separate my shipment. which means that i will get Summer Time together with Ai Ai Gasa around 18th June, which means that i won't be getting them coz i'm not in singapore... -_-;;;; yappari...it was an impulse buy, na? but... oh well... anything for Tegomass *shrugs* =P
will place order for Noble when i come back from my holiday, perhaps...
but anyway again, congratz for NEWS for reaching number 1!! ^________^ haven't watched the continuation coz i was too excited xDD *off to watch the continuation of the Music Station*
right, i'm supposed to be on my way to lin's place now, but i'm in the middle of burning a DVD for obachan, so i'll take 2 minutes to blog about hoshi wo mezashite dvd.
it's an extra DVD if you buy the single, perhaps the limited edition one? i'm not really sure. anyhow, i got it from nantoka fansub, i think. part of it, the Sendai 2006 concert clip, is widely available in youtube and veoh and whatnot. but the next segment is not. well, bits and pieces of them are uploaded, yea, like koyatego date, and ryopi's mirror pranks on each other?
but anyway. the next segment is the photoshoot session of hoshi wo mezashite cd jacket. each member also got interviewed about...whatever they wanna talk about xD and since hoshi wo mezashite = their coming back, it's the issue that everyone talked about.
the most fun session must've been tesshi's clip. not because i'm biased towards him (though that is true, too xD) but really, his interview session was the most funny. he gets disturbed by kei-chan and shige walking back on forth at his back carrying ladders, as a result he kept cracking up and kept losing his train of thoughts (which i find so cute xD not to mention his laughter xD) and in the end pi-chan popped in and sounding pissed and tesshi's attempt to pacify him, and totally lost his train of thoughts then xDD it's so funny xD
and the next most fun session is kei-chan, because of the koyatego date, of course xDD apparently the clip was a bit longer than what i've watched in youtube xD and it's so fun, of course, especially when you imagine what might have happened during those seconds when the camera wasn't focusing on them but we could still hear their voices xDDD then the next one i remember was ryo anc pi-chan, disturbing each other by reflecting the sun rays onto each other's faces with mirror, and glaring at each other when it was their turn to get pranked xD
unfortunately i couldn't remember much about shige and massu. and it's remarkable coz i just finished watching the clip less than 10 minutes ago xD but anyway, yea, the clip was fun ^^ thank you nantoka fansub!!
went to cash studio at apollo centre today. YESH!! the event of the holiday that i've been thinking of since...before assessment! xDDD for this event, i've prepared beforehand, what tony had referred to as, "cheat sheets" (a term very well-known for NUS students, i believe) xDD basically compilation of all NEWS songs, and i mean ALL! (except for songs included inside the new Summer Time single, which hasn't been released up to the point when this blog is published anyway).
it took me about 4 days to compile it, starting from, coincidentally the song that also started my NEWS craze, Ai Nante, aaall the way to Zutto ^^ i think i said that i did them in in-design, ne? exported them all out to pdf format and kept a copy in my handphone to send to nata's dopod. i also prepared another 'lyric booklet compilation' that consisted of miscellaneous singers like arashi, v6, every little thing, janne da arc, and hey! say! jump/7 xDD didn't have time to print them all out, but i managed to print the news booklet out ^^
well to proceed on with our karaoke story, me, dira and tony met earlier (or later, coz i woke up late...) at liang court for our lunch, then nata arrived and we walked to apollo centre. the place is a bit secluded and seemed...bit scary? feels like the karaoke place that me, edmond and nata went to some years back, except this one it's in a mall, so much better la hor =P
first song! eto... what was the first song? Over by V6? anyway, i was reluctant to sing songs that i can find in k-box, seeing that cash studio's japanese song database is like O.O!!! A SUPER DUPER LOT!! and i don't want to waste time, and voice, singing the same thing xD anyway their song database still manage to make me marvel even hours after we started singing. why, they even have Malice Mizer, alice nine, Despair'sRay, even D!!! O.O really WOW! too bad the only song of D that i know is ouka some ni seki or something, which i didn't find inside the book ^^ and too bad they don't have original song MV... even kbox has one of Gackt's original MV... and, surprise surprise, Dahlia's I'll Be Your Love was also inside!!! and was Shiro's Pearl, and Noa's Ima wo Dakishimete!!! oh, all these were the works of Yochan, btw ^^
but anyway, have had soo much fun just now!! sang many many many songs!! duet with obachan for V6 or NEWS or Tegomass songs, and sing in random with tony and dira for random songs xD the first NEWS song that we sang was, Dreams, if i remember correctly =) beautiful song, deshou? obachan..please study more NEWS songs before our next session! she was like "Teppen! i want Teppen!!" so i requested Teppen. bearing in mind that i have printed out the lyrics, and i have even sent a copy of the PDF to her dopod, i ended up singing alone for most part of the song, coz she said, "gw ga tau nyanyinya xDD" o.o???? and she was like so happy to request the song.... -_-"" we happily sang seishun amigo, and daite senorita too ^^ (even tried to imitate the dance movement and pi-chan's *kiss*-ahh part --> anyone understand? xD) and kiss~ kaerimichi no love song, and miso soup, and kibou no hikari wo kokoro ni tomosou, which harmony part i failed to sing miserably and which nata managed to handle the harmony part beautifully... now who's the fan of tesshi??? -___-""
i wished hany was there, though, coz she knows the songs well enough to sing the background part, or sing the melody part steadily enough for me to try singing the harmony/background part, like most evidently when we were singing Kirameki no Kanata e, one of my fave song... the song sound hollow without tesshi's background singing. there's chance that i can't pull it off, but well, i can always try, and nata can always succeed... at any rate i'm gonna drag her with me the next time i go there again =p
the joke of the day was when we started singing those "medleys" and we didn't know what songs they will give us, so it's like a surprise. so i was saying that eventhough i've printed out all the NEWS songs that are on the net, if i don't know what song they're gonna give us, i won't know which lyrics to look for inside my booklet, so it's kinda useless. then tony was laughing and said, "it's like preparing cheat sheet but never come out in exams" xDDD kinda true... if i go there again with hany, definitely cannot sing medleys =P those medleys are super fun! if you haven't tried them out, that is, coz you don't know what will the next song be ^^ but it's also very hard, especially for the pitching... talk about more of this later.
i sang Sunadokei solo! xDDD well, next time i should sing it FIRST, when my voice still has stamina -_- just now sang it when my voice was almost spent... obachan went and recorded my performance o.O duno for wad... i was listening to it again just now at home, oh goodness my lower notes were ok but when i went high it was horrible -_- tegochi, come and teach me to sing xD and bring massu while you're at it xDDDD but anyway after that solo i felt soooo happy and satisfied =DDD really that songs means a lot for me, just like Ai Nante ^_^
nata asked me to sing Can You Feel The Love Tonight.... firstly, after i listened to that tegoraji (tegoshi radio??) session when yuyaan sang that song after saying some really sweet-sounding kata2 pengantar, all i could remember was his version, not any others. and secondly, because of his earlier really sweet and dreamy (tambah lama tambah panjang ni description xD) kata2 pengantar, i always listened to the song afterwards with a half-conscious feeling, kayak melayang, di awaing-awang gitu, and i can't remember exactly how he pronounced those english words in his cute japanese accent.... all i can recall is.....the feeling..... kayak di awang-awang~~~~~~ xD
...which was why, i couldn't sang it well just now, coz in my mind, the di awang-awang feeling was clashing with my singing mode -> satu mo denger suara tegonyan jadi ga mo denger suara diri sendiri nyanyi (yg obviously lbh jelek), satu lagi want to sing well en ga mo nyanyi versi jepang yg kyk tegonyan.... so in the end it was a half-hearted and confusing performance o.O and i don't want to sing that song ever again. let tegonyan's version remain in my mind forever~~~ ciehh~ xDDDD
sang some interestings songs too, like Doraemon xDD Lareine's Bara wa Utsukushiku Chiru, which i was surprised to know that nata and tony don't know o.O perhaps not everyone were into Rose of Versailles (Lady Oscar, for the Indonesians) as i thought... sang Saint Seiya too, which was unfamiliar to dira. hmm, maybe my age was the borderline of people who know saint seiya and who don't? i don't think merry knew them either... i sang Raphael's Evergreen too xDD awesome! was thinking of singing Touch, but it's faster and i doubt i can read the words fast enough -_-... i also sang, i presumed, the shortest song Gackt had ever sung for Malice Mizer: Bois de Marveilles. goodness, i haven't even listened to that song for years! but i'm glad i still remember the tune =D hmm what else what else...?
oh, sang some arashi songs. my favourite, Sakura Sake, was surprisingly easy to sing, i didn't have too much problems reading eventhough it was my 3rd time singing, perhaps? and first time without romaji xD was looking for the heisei family songs, but to my disappointment they didn't even make it to the artists list...until dira found Ultra Music Power in one of the listing (i still duno where she found it) and i sang it happily xD couldn't reach chinen's part, oops~ his voice is really high!
i have something to say to defend myself, it's not that i've neglected X Japan so much until i don't even want to sing their songs, it's because their songs are very hard to sing! nobody can sing like toshi, which is why yochan said that nobody can replace X as a vocalists, coz all the songs are made for toshi's voice, which make them very hard to sing along with, which is why i prefer johnnys' easily-pitched songs to sing...
but at any rate i sang x japan ballads with dira just now xD it was a joke, man, i think because it's a bit slow-tempo it feels like there were more music than lines for us to sing. the starting song was The Last Song, and they even included the bits when yochan read the poem, like "eeeh????" o.O"" and, eventhough they would always show at the right upperhand corner the title of the next song in the medley, it's hard to catch the pitch, especially since i don't know which part of the song they will feature. chorus? bridge? starting part? where?? in the end i was straining my ears to catch the tune in time to start singing, and sometimes i failed to catch it correctly and it was eughh xP
afterwards, nata left early for her dinner gathering, and soon after tony left too. i was already getting ready to leave together with tony, when suddenly i went "let's sing one more hour" to dira, and she was "ok!" and i said bye-bye to tony xDDDD after they left, with my voice really half-spent, i chose the songs which are trying and made me yell and yell xDD like, Yui's LIFE and laruku's hitomi no jyuunin... then i sang nakashima's sakuranantoka song also (NOT tesshi at my boss my hero!) ^^ it's not satisfying to go home after a karaoke session with my voice intact! xDD
anyway... dira was saying "as long as it hasn't gone out of 50bucks, it's ok", so just now we spent less than 20, which means that: NEXT WEEK LET'S GO AGAIN!!! xDDDD i'm dragging hany with me! with loads of cheat sheets, obviously! and, since more people=cheaper, i'll try dragging rhesa too =D see if she has any day-off ^^;;
this is what happened if i get lost in touch with the jrock world for a period of time...
i just checked cdjapan (wanted to check about the release date of Summer Time single and whether they reached number 1 or not) and when i logged on, the first news that hit me was:
VERSAILLES HAD RELEASED A DEBUT ALBUM!!! freakin hell and i didn't know about it!!! NOBLE, i'm SO gonna order it tonight!!! and, the part that made me gasped really loud: they're gonna play for the hide memorial concert!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
right, the above paragraph would most likely be more correct to be written in past tense, but since i'm like so clueless about the jrock world now, i don't know if these events had taken place or not... i guess the hide memorial concert had passed, coz i went to Oricon website and saw some pics of yochan and sugizo playing guitars in a pose that, touchingly, reminds me of Extasy Summit 16 years ago... both were still having long hairs and all... and in that pic, yochan was wielding hide's trademark Little Hearts Jr guitar....
i need to get in touch with the jrock world!! fast!! *but duno how...*
nyaaaah!!! i gotta get that album, Noble! wait for me, Versailles!!!!
eto, i didn't really know the reason why i suddenly went to google and start looking for Shissou, and i found it in crunchyroll and i watched it. thank you for nantoka fansubbers who've subbed this movie.
eto.. perhaps it'll be better if i copy and paste from my personal notepad-ed comments instead of writing new one, ne?
Shissou
prologue:
the ONE film that contributed to the description of yuyaan being "the earliest members to star in a movie" in his biodata and information pages ^^ i saw the footage when he was in montreal, looking as fresh and adorable as in My Boss My Hero and Gachi Baka. i WANT TO SEE THIS!! xD but it's crunchyroll....how do i download from crunchyroll??? -__- sad... but anyway, here goes Shisshou! ^__^ all for the sake of tegonyan!
*sigh* i said my heart jumps a little whenever tesshi appears on scene? now it seems like my hearts also jumps everytime i heard his voice, though i can't see his face xDDD i LOVE tegoshi!!!!
yuyaan!!! on 13th min, that white figure riding from the back, i was predicting that it might be him, or more like HOPING that it's him xD i don't want to spend the entire movie listening to his voice only la =p demo... tampangnya masi tampang tuut leh, the 16-year-old tesshi punya tampang, with that hair...
passed the halftime mark... yuyaan is the lead actor in this movieee???? heeeeeeee??????? hontou????? O.O!!! sugee.... well i'm very very impressed, much impressed!! though the movie is somewhat arty and heavy and dark and weird and... well... and his acting isn't that superb either (though not much worse than normal japanese wooden acting, which i never mind anyway) but he's like a freakin 16-year-old? or perhaps 17 at most? with a newly-debuted group called NEWS and no fame before that? and they entrusted this movie to this kid???? i'd say, tesshi, you either have radiated such a good aura that people trusted in you, or you've had such a good luck to be starring in a movie even waaay before yamapi himself did! banzai tesshi! xD
epilogue:
... as i watched the ending credits, with "TEGOSHI YUYA" kanji written first and foremost, couldn't help but laughed... a bitter, amused, weird laugh...
it's like... ??????????????????????????
there are so many things in my mind now, and i can't catch them all... like, this movie, a movie of such genre, why choose kawaii tesshi-kun to do it? firstly he hasn't done any other movies, or even films, previously, i believe, coz he looked the most tut here if compared to his other dramas... why trust him for such an important role? and... the movie itself.... what a heavy, depressing role as a debut!!!!
yappari, i really do admire him a lot.
eeh?? 2005???? he's 18??? uso! ...ah! gachi baka and my boss my hero is filmed when he's 19, huh? geee, he has a lot of films in 2006! gachi baka, my boss my hero, hyoten, that's 3 dramas! but 2007 only shabake. and until now... none that i've heard of. doushite, tesshi? o.O why a super-productive year in 2006 (debut with tegomass, 3 dramas, not to mention countless performances in variety shows) and a steady decline afterwards?? *wails* give me more tesshi!!!!!
anyway... i'm gonna watch shabake. unsubbed. XDDDDDDDDDDDDD i won't understand a freakin single thing from it but i just want to watch him in a movie xDD
or should i finish watching gachi baka first?
or should i take a break and watch nobuta? or prodai?
or should i continue compiling my NEWS lyric booklet? (i'm still at "S"....)
just listened to I Wo Kure by Hey! Say! 7, the full studio version....
O.O!!!!! oh my goodness listen to THAT voice!!! that was a 13-year old singing!!!
in this clip, it's the 2nd song. it's short, and combined with other songs, and they were doubtless lip-sync-ing. but, just listen to chinen yelling away at the start and in the middle...
Hey! Say! 7 - medley (hey! say!; i wo kure; Bon Bon)

holiday week 1 day 6: reuinion with choir mates
2.49 am: content and happy~
early in the afternoon went out with joyce, firstly to go to the doctor which 'cured' her hair loss (my treatment was more expensive than i'd imagine -_-) then off we got to orchard road. unlike when i was out with mimi and merr, during which it would almost seem like i was just tagging along to do things that i actually needed to do but didn't like to do very much, with joyce i'm always free to do whatever things i'd like to do without any holding back at all. it's not that it's bad to hang out with mi&mer, but it's an undeniable fact that rather than going to branded stores and looking up their stuff and analysing their collection and browsing through fashion magazines sections or catalogues, i'd rather be going to CD stores or electrical equipments stores and browsing through manga and japanese music magazines in bookshops and going to manga-related stores to browse through their collectibles and stuff.
*shrugs* it's in me, i can't change it. i know as a fashion student i need to be doing the stuff that mi&mer do, but unless they drag me along (which they always do, out of kidness to me) i wouldn't find the strength in me to do it at all...
but anyway, today i went with joyce. so i was at orchard road tracing my favourite paths since i was secondary school: from kino at taka, to mise xclusive at cinelesure (which wasn't opened, unfortunately), to comics connection at PS (and later on with zhen and yang to hmv at heeren.) at kino, i bought Shockwave vol 10, which was almost too much for me at 32 bucks...BUT since it was a "special 50-pages X Japan" edition, there's no way i would miss it -_-;; well, the price was almost choking, but i still walked out of kino happily.
from there we went to mise at cine. it was closed. we went to the 4th floor to eat at suki sushi, but the queue was like O.O!!!!! >_<> we didn't even try queuing. upon consultation with obachan, we went to sakae at borders. waited quite awhile for the sofa seat, but i love sushi anyway =P saw a les couple. i often see gay couples, but les couples are much more rare. it prompted a long joke between me and joyce coz earlier on she was (wrongly phrasing her words and) saying "we've been together for 2 years right?" and that just sounded so wrong! xDD
from there, accompanied joyce to lido to book movie tickets. she wanted to catch a movie at 6pm, coz she needed to get home by 8.30, but couldn't get any. i suggested going to PS or cine. well, we came from cine earlier on and there were many people. she was more keen to try PS, which has cathay nearby also, just in case there were too many people there also. took bus to PS, something that i can't do if i was with mi&mer too coz they'd surely insist on walking =P i think joyce pampers me too much xD
at PS, hooo goodness, you can't expect me to miss going into comics connection if i'm at PS (unless i'm with my school mates, or mi&mer =P). after booking move tix (they're 10bucks apiece, goodness me... catch weekday movies, people!!), we went to comics connection straight away. saw the Near pin that i saw in sunshine plaza last year, the one they sold at 14bucks. at comics connection it was only 5bucks o.O i didn't really pay attention to the quality though. almost bought the handphone sticker of urahara-sama and kakashi-sensei...but i changed my mind and wandered to the idol-section empty-handed...
...which was good! coz, after disappointingly browsing through the posters (which contained very little anime posters and filled with korean and taiwanese idols), unexpectedly i stumbled upon a package of NEWS photos! after stumbling into 1, i browse through EVERY section of those packaged photos, fishing out more NEWS xDD found about 5 different sets (and there was one a solo yamapi set). but at 6.50bucks a package, each containing 10 photos, i thought it would be too much if i get all 5 sets. i asked joyce to choose the best 2, and i consoled myself by buying their playing cards which, i'm sure, contained even more pictures ^_^
pure happiness ^^
at that time, i was consciously aware of the amount of money i've spent for the day, buying junks, but junks that ultimately made me happy o.o then i went to bugis to meet up with yang hong, jee cheng and zhen.
i haven't met them for more than a year, the last one was also when zhen came to singapore and we watched our juniors at SA Choir performed at the brand-new St Andrew's Village campus. that was in 2006 (zhen confidently said). from then, eventhough we're living in this red-dot singapore, we never saw each other again. for my part, i guess my no-life-fashion-design-student status prevented me from meeting up with practically everyone other than those whom i can visit at home at my own ill-timing-and-rare leisure time (read: palm garden) v__v
it was good to be catching up with them again =) we went to ms clarity nearby SMa, the place where Mr Liew originally introduced to us. couldn't really remember the changes that took place in that small shop. we ate and exchange stories. the ambience was really nice with dimmed light and candles on each table and people on each table chatting with their own group of friends. we got to know the story of zhen and his gf, and i found out that there might be another person whom i can induce to become a jdrama-freak, namely yang xDD we were almost at our own world talking about nodame and honey and clover and (due to toma) hana kimi and... no we stopped before we really pissed zhen and jeecheng xD
we were quite crazy about picture tonight, i guess xD the 4 of us incidentally have sony ericsson as our handphones (yay! the power of SONY!! xD) and we started taking pic of it xD let's wait yang or zhen upload the pics of all 4 handphones photographed together. i like cheng's phone! k770i i think? 3.2mp too, and slimmer built, though i recognised the symptom of k8ooi, which was peeling keypad. after that we exchanged gmail addresses, since gmail messenger is starting to become popular. in the end we were like signing each other's notebook with "i'm here! ms clarity cafe! 3rdmay08" kind of thing xDDD
went to natl lib to accompany cheng to see her friend. they were still having exams, it was so generous of her to spare some time and have dinner with us, her last paper being on monday. i didn't know that there's a study lounge at the national library O.o but it was packed, even until 9pm...after which they were all shoo-ed home xD
anyway i told them that if we take the natl lib's lift all the way to the topmost level and then take it down again to the ground level without stopping, it was real fun. so we went and tried it out xDD eto... it wasn't as fun as i'd remembered it to be though ^^;;;; heehee...
cheng decided to go to mcdonald's with her friend to study while me, zhen and yang hit orchard road (again!). thank goodness for late-night shopping! we were introduced to carrie, zhen's gf, and her friend, whose name i failed to catch (just as i did with cheng's friend, oops~). then we got separated again. as in, me, yang and zhen went to cine (i still wanted to catch mise, coz i thought they'd be opened at night) and his gf went to...duno where, to shop some more, i guess ^^
mise was still closed! goodness gracious me... it was a weekend, a saturday, and they were closed for the whole day??? then WHEN do they open??? weird!! ....... but anyway... zhen wanted to get some CDs. me and yang remembered Sembawang at cine, but we weren't sure if it was still opened (as in whether or not the shop was still there) so we went to HMV at heeren.
the last time i've been to heeren was on tues, but i didn't manage to go to HMV. so this time, i happily aimed my path to the 3rd floor after leaving zhen at the 2nd floor.
heaven~ i'm always the happiest at CD stores and bookshops, though most of the time i didn't buy anything... i found NEWS singles and album!!! pacific hong kong version was 19bucks while taiyou no namida reg version was 17bucks... pity, it has bambina missing, perhaps my fave song in the single together with taiyou no namida itself.
then i found Tegomass's single! kiss~kaerimichi no love song single at 24bucks... it has all 4 songs, including my favourite Kibou no Hikari no Kokoro ni Tomosou... i was carrying both CDs (pacific and kiss) around, asking yang if i should buy them, or either one of them, and unable to make decision, as i knew i would end up doing. called hany, but it was clear from her tone that she wasn't really thinking for me, with me, so i ended the conversation. i thought about the packaged photos that i purchased earlier at comics connection and decided against buying it...for the time being. i will, eventually =)
THEN i found NEWS (Never Ending WOnderful STory) DVD!! but the price was, oh my goodness, 134bucks!!!! *wails*
i'm making a proposal to hany. why don't we buy each other birthday present by compromising and going dutch on the DVD xDDDD she's busy with assignments tonight so i haven't pushed for her aswer. but whether or not she'd agree, i'll be getting that DVD. at the most my hongbao money would be sacrificed xDD
if i can spend 300bucks on X Japan DVD which featured a concert held 15 years ago, why wouldn't i pay 134bucks for NEWS's concert? deshou?
...is that a declaration that i like NEWS as much as i like X now? .......
... i'm not committing any answer o.o
went to the classical section afterwards, with zhen and yang. saw and recognised more songs than when i previously came, especially in the opera section. i just remembered that i need to watch the la traviata that bebek lent me O.O!! after zhen purchased his CD, we went off. he went to orchard mrt and me and yang went to orchard shopping centre, though after that yang realised that she couldn't get any bus from that bus stop and had to walk back to heeren.
had a full socialising day. since i'm not sociable by nature, it was a really fulfilling day for me =) hope to be able to meet up with them more often. come back to singapore more often, zhen! xDD
this was the photo collection that i bought today, each picture about smaller than a5 size. i diligently compiled them up and put them inside my A2 cardcase (the one i bought for my 2nd project this semester) and put it behind the final fantasy wall hanger, which was hanging by my bed. i'm in the middle of incorporating them into my fanfic, so these pics would help me to compose my characters, description of appearance and expression and hopefully inspiring some stories into my head ^^

about: Yochan underwent a surgery to correct his spine, a problem that had persisted since 1995, when he finally started to feel numbness in his fingers. the surgery went fine, thank goodness. hopefully he will recover completely and it doesn't affect his piano playing. as for drums...don't forget your neck braces everytime you drums, yochan!
etc: read below xD i've made too many layouts featuring Yoshiki i don't wish to repeat myself =P
Phase 3.1 (2008)
http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v457/arsenalx/?action=view¤t=ekkusu3.jpg
Featuring: Versailles
Background: formed in 2007 by founding member Kamijo (ex Lareine) and Hizaki (ex Sulfuric Acid), they released their debut single Revenant Choir which tells a story about a clan.
Just as like Kamijo's past works, Versailles tells a story through their symphonic metal music and extravagantly elaborate costumes inspired from antique European era.
Members: Kamijo (vocals), Hizaki (guitar), Teru (guitar), Jasmine-You (bass), Yuki (drums)
etc: Versailles beautiful music managed to win my heart totally. saddened by the loss of Jasmine-YOU in 2009, but i hope the 4 of them will still make great music from now onwards. rest in peace, Jasmine-YOU, and watch out for the guys from up there...
Phase 2.0 and 2.1 (2007)
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v449/arsenal_x/ekkusu2.1copy.jpg
featuring: S.K.I.N.
Background: Formed in 2007, performed first during Anime Expo at the States in May.
