holiday week 1 day 4
yesterday went to eat with mimi and merr at aston, a small western food restaurant near parkway with great food and affordable prices. afterwards we walked and shopped around parkway parade. the last time we did those things was like a year ago, during this period too, after assessment ^^ ate ice-cream, went to clothing shops, went to CD shop...then we decided to hit on orchard road.
they brought me to paragon, a place where, beforehand, i never spend more than 5 minutes other than at its basement (where i usually get food). it's my first time going into so many high-end branded stores, and it was very illuminating. my lecturers kept asking us to go to these kind of stores and see their stuff, and i never dared to. but yesterday i had fun looking at their stuff, or more like scrutinising them, design-wise, material-wise and finishing-wise xD we went to burberry, prada, bcbgmaxmara, kenzo, miu-miu, louis vuitton, chanel, fendi...
out of so many stores, i guess my fave one was burberry, coz there were many things to see, and i really like scutinising their items, great stuff. the friendliest store must be prada, i love the attendants! and the busiest should be luis vuitton, though i was pretty much only wandering around inside. oh, but they have an absolutely great red jacket that me and merry went "i want this!!!"-ing xD
but, the highlight of the day should be my visit to kino xD i think the both of them knew already my fascination with books. quoting merry when we were contemplating whether or not to go to taka from parkway parade: "asal ada toko buku ni anak pasti seneng deh" =P well it's true... i was happiest at the end of the day, aft purchasing the may issue of Fool's Mate and Duet, featuring X Japan and NEWS respectively ^^)v
Yoshi H from facebook just put up pics from next issue of Fool's Mate and Shockwave 10th vol. *sigh* just as i was about to tell myself not to buy anymore idols magz (coz i have so many of them at home and in the end i did nothing with them except to browse through them every few months)
oh, i bought myself some eye-cream from Kiehl's too. what a friendly shop-attendant =) the prices was to-die-for, but i guess it shall be an end-of-school-year gift for myself =)
@obachan: eto, i did notice the banana that pi-chan held, and later on eaten by kei-chan, but that was after hany pointed it out to me xD on the other hand i didn't miss a single action of tesshi, did i? ^^)v i tried not to... i duno, sometimes when they were all together in a frame, it's very hard to catch everyone's actions, ne? my eyes would automatically try to search and zoom-in on tesshi, and then yamapi. sometimes when others were doing something and i looked at them, it takes even longer to search for tesshi and pi-chan after that... *shrugs* with 6 people in a group, i bound to miss many actions -_-;;

the new MV for the new single coming up this May, Summer Time. i'm contemplating of getting the single...should i? NEWS shall not break their record of getting each and every single they release into the top position in the chart!
alright, about the MV! ^^ one word: happy! they look happy and at ease throughout the whole time, it seemed like it had been a fun and enjoyable MV to shoot, and i was happy watching them being happy xD the gist of the story could be: how bad NEWS members are at household works, lol XDD well except for shige-pi pair who are not involved in any housework-ing...
another main thing that i realised is: how much yuyaan is getting to look more and more like pi-chan O.O i don't know in what way exactly, but i feel that in the MV he looked more and more like yamapi O.O which makes me happy anyway xD and i simply L-O-V-E his voice!!! have i said that before? i think i have, only about a hundred times before xDD
no complicated inctricate dance movements, only plain ol' NEWS members fooling around in front of the camera xD love them! i like it better than weeek because in weeek the time frame for each scene is faster, i guess and so it was very hard to catch individual member's time in front of the camera. here, it's all slow and easy, and i can easily feast my eyes on every single member's solo time in front of the camera, with or without the rest of the members at the back doing silly weird things xD
here goes my random rambling as i watch the vid and pause at every few seconds to note down the bizzare (or not-so-bizzare) things they did:
yuyaan "nyempil" behind shige's head (and looked as though ready to kiss his hair) at the start of the MV while they're taking pic, until hany said "only got 5 people!" xDD yuyaan and ryo-chan's shirt colour is actually pretty similar, huh? the "RIDE" tee ryo-chan was wearing (not his purple) and yuyaan's pink. nobody's wearing green (thank goodness) =P yuyaan is getting to be as wink-ready as yamapi, and both of them always wink at the same eye as me! right eye! xD i can't wink at the left eye =PP
at this point i realised that while for other members' solo time i'll be catching the action of the others at the back too, while when it's yuyaan's turn i don't care a shred about what the others were doing... xD *bias mode: switch on*
that gesture, starting with the base of the palm at the temple and then moving it up and away, what is it? yuyaan was particularly fond of it, and i've seen pi-chan and massu doing it too... dun like shige's dog =P too skinny and too little hair for my taste xD ryo-chan using the float as hulahoop xD and here start tesshi's fascination with the blender *glomps tesshi* and ryo-chan's adventure with the papan penggilas xDD i shall try yuyaan's recipe, milk plus everything else in a blender xDD he looked like he enjoyed himself much while juicing, not to mention looking so cute in every pose he did *glomps tesshi again*
how poor thing of shige to get his head pushed down while singing xD eh, nat, if you see clearly yuyaan wasn't among those who pushed his head down, alright *humph* xPP ryo-chan and pi-chan drinking from the same cup! they always get lovey-dovey in MVs (refer to week, bridge part)... lol, the story for the 3 pairs (keitego, ryomassu and pishige) start here, more or less:
ryo: *lifting up a white tee with a great big hole right in the middle*
massu: *look of horror* *approaches ryo-chan with a disbelieving look on his face*
ryo: *continues grinding away, this time an orange-red tee*
right after that scene, i'm curious as to what kei-chan, yuyaan and massu were doing behind that tree/pillar...can't see very clearly =PP
tesshi: *still happily juicing* *throws some weird fruit into blender already filled with milk*
kei-chan: *mischivieous look on his eyes while watching tesshi* *stands up*
tesshi: *thinks of some interesting ingredient* *goes away from blender*
kei-chan: *appears at blender* *opens up a cabinet and pulls out a weird green thingy*
kei-chan was being piggy-backed by tesshi! xD
pi-chan: *scrubs at surf board*
shige: *pulls out what seemed like an ancient polaroid* *takes aim at pi-chan*
pi-chan: *pulls out several poses*
shge: *laughs*
i'm liking more and more kei-chan and shige's rapping pair! just like in Boom! Boom! Power, i like their voices while rapping, coz the feeling is just right ^___^ love the way pi-chan poked and tickled kei-chan while he was rapping and sent him giggling and gleefully wincing in front of the camera xDDD and of course, the favourite bridging pair, i guess, pi-chan and ryo-chan, just like in weeek.
shige: *hands over polaroid at pi-chan*
pi-chan: *tries to aim at shige*
ryo: *lifted up the orange-red tee he was washing* *another, BIGGER, hole had appeared*
massu: *poked the hole in glee*
tesshi: *runs back into scene* *protests when kei-chan wants to put the green thingy inside his precious fruit juice*

kei-chan: "daijyoubu!" *tries to convince tesshi*
kei-chan: *squeezes some extract of his weird green thingy into tesshi's precious blender, which incidentally contain some juice of the exact colour as his T-shirt xD*
tesshi: *peeps inside the blender nevertheless*
tesshi winking again. yamapi winking again also! see! i shall wink more often too xDD massu and tesshi squirting something from a yellow bottle and red bottle respectively into something at tesshi's hand...which later on seemed to be a fat drumstick...
kei-chan: *starts the blender*
content of blender: *turns green* *turns purple* *turns aqua blue* *turns purplish red*
kei-chan and tesshi: *laughs*
tesshi: *pulls an "eww..." look*
tesshi protested at a suggestion from massu that seemed to indicate that he was to eat the drumstick that he was holding (the one which they were squirting at before)
pi-chan: *opens up camera* *shows it empty, no negatives*
shige: *cocks his head to a side, pledging innocence*
ryo pulls a cute pose with his fingers poking his cheek and his head cocked to a side *glomps ryo-chan* the 3 oldest members of news taking a pose with a synchronised "victory" sign... ryo-chan pulled out that cute pose again while the others were sitting down, tesshi right at the back with a guitar on his lap. aaand~~ last pose: massu, ryo, tesshi, pi-chan, shige and kei-chan, all with victory sign except for those at the edges (massu and kei-chan) were they standing on common ground? they were, right? if they were, tesshi's growing up! xD seems like he's about on par (if not slightly taller) than massu now ^^

holiday week 1 day 2
i think if i blog while noting down the holiday weeks, i'll be more aware of it, not like "yay, holiday is here!" and the next time it's already "eh? 2 months holiday passed already? how come?????" kind of thing, hopefully... i've planned quite a few of activities for me this holiday, activities that are necessary so that my holiday won't be wasted.
1. japanese tuition. back to nancy-sensei, i hope. i have problems with going for tuitions, the adaptation period is very discouraging -_- if i still can get her to teach me, at the most we should spend about a week revising all the stuff she had taught me 2 years ago, and proceed on with the next lessons. i'll catch up with brandy and dira! and tony!
2. piano lessons. "organ aja," my dad says. "we don't have piano what, why you want to learn? after that where you want to play?" hany says. well the point is, until now there had been many of those kind of comments everytime i said that i wanted to learn piano, and it's only after that, when i'm at nata's house, singing while she's playing piano, that i wished that i know a little bit more about piano. this time, i'll convince myself that "no, piano is more commonly put everywhere, unlike organ which you can only find in churches, and they wouldn't allow you to touch them anyway," and "i think it's more silly to buy a piano when you don't know how to play it, if compared to learning to play piano but you don't own a piano."
eh... that's all xDD i know i still have to brush up on my driving skill (or more like re-learn it) and i gotta start planinng next year's collection, but at the moment those 2 are my priorities. and both depends almost entirely on koko's ability to drive me to the tuition centres *wails* if he can't, or don't want, there goes the last 2-monht-holiday of my life. i'll be wasting it watching anime/dorama or reading manga on the computer...
anyway. yesterday was the last dog-fai day. business was still not really good. they should really stick to expo to hold this kind of fairs. i heard from shan2 that when they were selling at the expo, business was very very good. hmm...
anyway again. i just want to register my realisation that how easily and innocently and naturally an evangelist can go off and insult other religions, and yet i really can't blame them for they really believe what they're saying. well, some managed to sound rude-er than others, but for most, especially when they're talking to someone like me with a "complicated history", they sounded very naturally and innocently insulting xDLabels: holiday

ano, it wasn't my intention to go on to hiatus, but i just thought that i've done quite a lot of posts in that one day, and after that it happened that hany used the comp a lot while i wanted to blog a lot, so i'd rather not blog about the things that i wanted to blog first rather than blogging them in shorter entries, but in the end i forgot what i wanted to blog about so... yea xD
but eniwei, since i've started on another entry anyway, this is a snippet of my conversation with obachan yesterday. it went something like...
obachan: how, yesterday got dream of the kindergarten kiddo?
me: *ga nyambung* tesshi wa hontou ni daisuki!! yamapi mo daisuki desu!!
obachan: hati orang tu not naturally bigamist, you have to choose!
me: how can??? it's like asking YOU to choose between yamapi and junichi, like that, how can?? i thought i'm really really not crazy over him, but after watching gachi baka, i realised that, duno since when, i think i've became really crazy about him...
obachan: junichi donk ^^v see? priority. it's only that now i'ma having an affair with yamapi first, later on then i'll go back to junichi. yuyan n kame are your "love at first sight' while yamapi is your 'nurtured love', which one last longer and have more impact?
me: who knows later i lose interest in both at the same time and go back to yochan? oh no, i', a polygamist already!!
and our ngelantur conversation eded there. well, the point of the conversation is: ......... err, no point, other than my heart is a polygamist xDDD
and, actually i did dreamed of tesshi yesterday! only that, the context was a bit...ngelantur o.O coz beforehand i was reading Mary Higgins Clark novel (the queen of psychological thriller) and in the end my dream incorporated some storyline of the novel too o.O in my dream i was holding a piece of important evidence of the disappearence of a certain someone (i'm quite sure it was someone whom i know, but i only remembered tesshi's face afterwards, oops~) and tesshi happened to be standing before my table, and was looking at me with those wide, inquisitive puppy-eyes of his, asking me about the evidence that i was holding, which was a piece of photograph, and i whispered the 'secret' to him, and all the impression that i had left when i woke up was the wide, innocent, inquisitive, clear bright eyes of his looking at me O.O now i'm not sure if i'm more into his voice or his eyes...
btw if anyone wanna give me early birthday present, i'm listing my birthday wishlist! not in order of priority:
- tesshi's/yamapi's uchiwa (japanese fan that they sell in concerts with the idol's face printed on it)

semester 2 week 16 day 7
10.36 pm: dog fair
helped out shan2 selling dog clothings and some other merchandise during the dog exhibition in kallang leisure park today wih merr and mimi. for us who are quite enthusiastic about dogs, it was like a heavenly day, every few minutes some dogs would pass by. we saw a LOT of malteses, some siberian huskies, some really really really HUUUGE siberian huskies resembling handsome wolves, some really really cute and adorable samoyed (samoyed is officially one of my face dog breed now, i especially fond of the inuyasha-ears xDDD), a lot of schnauzer, cihuahuas, pomeranians, shih-tzu, pekingese, collies, border collies (oh how handsome they are!), shetland sheepdogs (clever little things they all are), golden retrievers, terriers, a dark-furred shiba-inu, an italian grehound, a germand shepherd and a st bernard O.O i might've missed many many others, but these are the ones that i could remember xD
i especially loved a huuuge and extremely cever labrador who could do tricks as fine as mimi's aristotle, a huuuuge and handsome samoyed with very clean snow-white fluffy fur (and a pair of extremely adorable inuyasha-ears xDDD), and a big border collie who's also very clever.
shan2 brought her mix-silky terrier, tao-tao, and she became our mascot of the day xD she wore at least 3 different outfits, she was put inside the dog-bag to demonstrate how to wear the bag, and she became the star attraction of the shop, i guess, since passers-by simply love stopping and stooping to pet her ^^ for a dog her size, i think she was behaving very very very well indeed xD even though her fascination with the bathroom sometimes annoyed us and forced us to put the leash on her quite often, she doesn't bark, she doesn't bite, she doesn't jump on people, she's very nice ^___^
tomorrow will be another full day at kallang leisure park. if you have a dog, do drop by Paw Republic and buy an outfit for your dog xD

well technically it's day 4 already but, hehe, i'm just gonna do one more update before sleeping.
still upset about my conversation with hany just now. it went something like this,
"who sang ai nante again?"
"tesshi, shige, ryo"
"what a weird combination... how do they choose ahz?"
"i duno. random perhaps. massu, pi and kei are already doing nantoka narusa what.
"it's so random."
"....wait, i know! maybe they separate the 2 strongest singers apart, then the rest they mix and match."
"eeeh?.... but i thought massu and yamapi are the strongest singers"
*already feeling bete liao* "NO loh, tesshi IS the strongest singer in NEWS."
*refused to hear anything else coz i know she will rebutt me again and i will feel more bete and stuffed my ears with my earphones to listen to Hey! Say! JUMP* "chinen~~~~"
i don't care if anyone tells me he's not cute, if he's irritating, if he's act-cute, but i care very much if anyone says that his voice is not good, coz it's the greatest insult!
well to take a positive point of it, i won't be sharing dear tesshi with anyone else around me, and i can get him all for my lil self xD yamapi is a public possession around me, that's something that unfortunately i can't change =P kei-chan, i think i'm sharing him with obachan, ne? ryo and massu, sharing them or not sharing them, it's ok both ways with me. shige, you all can have him, until pi-chan managed to convince me otherwise, i won't fight for him xD come on, pi-chan, convince me to like shige! xD i think i'm improving though =) i'm starting to notice him more!
anyway, this is the last update! duno if hany or obachan will be interested since it doesn't have pi-chan nor ryo-chan in it.

eto, instead of searching for NEWS, tesshi or yamapi, i found myself typing the words "chinen, yamada, hey say 7" everywhere.............O.O!!! errr, the excuse? ano.............. none xDDD oh man....
okay okay, well the least i can say to defend myself is this: i might have found another gem in the heisei-era family ^^ and he is........ *drum rolls* ........................ TADAAHH: chinen yuri =DDDD
have been going through many hey say stuff, JUMP or 7, and the more i watch, the more often i listened to yuri's voice (coz he happened to be given more solo lines than others, i duno why) and thus the more i realised how high-pitched his voice is! and that sometimes i could even hear his vibrato O.O could i say "as expected of someone who admires satoshi ohno"? eventhough i still haven't heard for myself how good ohno's voice is? O.O i have high expectations for yuri's voice. really. just....when your voice is breaking, yuri (coz it obviously hasn't been broken), please take extra extra caution and be very very careful, don't damage it!!
and, the more i realised that their songs are really catchy xDD shyt... noooo i don't want to earn weird look from my friends who would definitely go "heh?? how old are they???????????" nooooooooooooooooooooooooo...................
obachan and everyone else who're not interested in the younger generation, no fret. i'm just asking you to pay attention to the first who sang at 00:42 (nakajima yuto), 1:15 (yamada ryosuke) and 1:22 (chinen yuri). and of course you can easily catch chinen anywhere and everywhere later on, singing high-pitched short solo lines "kaze no kirei~" (or something) "jumping to my heart~" or "fighting for my heart, oooh~" and smiling ever so sweetly into the camera *insert fangirl squeal* xDDDD

semester 2 week 16 day 3 part C: breaking my youtube fast!
20.14 pm: wide-awake and lethargic
started my "breakfast" slowly, by checking my mailbox and going to every single "someone has replied to your comment on XXXXX" links. since almost every one of my comments are about NEWS, tegomass or the individual yamapi and tesshi clips, i'm exposing myself to their contents once again, but slowly xD
i realised, as i went through my comment once again, that i've grown a lot (in terms of jani jimusho knowledge) in these 2 months (or less?)... why, can you imagine that at one of my comments about tegomass, i actually asked "is it my hearing or did they sing miso soup?" O.o i think i sounded really stupid xD
and, someone commented on my tegoshi yuya - sunadokei MS comment, and someone actually mentioned yama-chan and yuto as the 2 dancers, and i went *wide-eyed* "you're kidding!" and clicked it to re-watch it. this time, i took dira's advice and closed an ear to tesshi's pitching, and concentrated on the dancers instead xDD and, hell yeah it was them!! both yuto and yama-chan!!! xDD though i think that the dance movements are still too energetic, i think yama-chan will be a great dancer in the future xDD

1st part: V6 vs TOKIO vs Downtown bowling match!
hey! hey! hey! versus the jani jimusho guys! i noticed a similarity between okada-kun and tesshi! apart from being the youngest in the group, they also happened to attract a lot of attention from hamada, and they're the most likely victim of abuse from him! (like being yelled at, or being hit on the head) if tesshi always looked amused and didn't mind the least bit (he always looked amused when being yelled at), okada-kun looked half bewildered and almost pitiable xDDD i loved the way nagano and inocchi pats on his head after hamada hit on his hat quite a few times earlier on, poor junichi...
i think nagano is the cutest member in V6.... *avoids obachan's wrath of anger*... i mean tonisen... he's very good looking!!! =DLabels: jani jimusho misc

12.30 pm: ohayo!
gave specific instructions yesterday to mba lia that if anyone comes that are likely to cause noise, please, for these 2 days, please don't let them be; and that i wouldn't be eating lunch nor dinner until further notice. still, despite of that, and despite me having gone through this 'phenomenon' after assessment over and for at least 3 times in a row, at night nai-nai still knocked on my door so ever loudly to ask me to eat, followed with a hurried and panicky restrain from mba lia who told her that i didn't want to (thanks mba!), and hany still called me ever so loudly about "it's 8 already, not eating dinner??" sheeesh.... don't blame me if i'm rude or crude, but with 3 nights' worth of sleeping debt, everyone will be cranky.
the previous sleeping-after-assessment record was 19 hours. this time, i slept for 24 hours, of course with some bathroom breaks which happened after every 6 hours and 30 minutes. apparently my sleeping battery was really still quite okay, coz i felt my 'debt' being fully repaid at 1.30 am this morning o.O means that i was awake already for my 2nd bathroom break.
right, time to blog something about yesterday. at 5am i started doing collection plan and the catalogue which we were excused from doing but apparently everyone did it, and i felt really bad for helene too if i don't. so, by 7 we rushed to fastprint, which was still closed (goodness!) and then we rushed to the 24-hour printing shop, to find alice and yee ting there, with 2 other people. so we (me and merr) were the 5th and 6th in the queue. waited for about 5 min? contemplating whether to wait here, which we knew there's only 1comp to serve 6 people, and the quality of the print was known to us (read: not so good...), or to wait at fastprint, which we knew would be packed with people very early in the morning anyway, but with 6 comps to serve more people and about 2-3 printers which quality is also known to us (read: better) and a very very fast and competent worker, cherry herself. sometimes the owner would also be there and the both of them are really fast in managing the printing orders from us.
so merry called cherry again at around 7.30. if they'd really open at 8, merr woul wait at he 24-hr shop while me at fastprint. then cherry said that she'd be opened in 10 minutes. we looked at each other for a split second, then i turned around and started running to fastprint, closely followed by merr. oh my goodness, 3 days without sleep, morning without breakfast, and there we go, having a sprinting event at 7.30 in the morning just to get to fastprint as fast as possible. along the way people were staring and looking at us, 2 girls early in the morning running and laughing like someones who've lost their minds...
at fastprint, eventhough it's still not opened, there were already 2 people queueing up. so we waited, and 10 minutes later cherry came and we did our printing straight away. since we were there earlier, and we knew who came first and who came later, the order of the printing was done accordingly. sometimes people told me that there are better printing shops, but i still like fastprint very much =)
so we finished printing at about 8 plus, and we went to sewing room and took our stuff to G503, where mimi already booked a table for us. joyce allowed me to share her table and hanger, thank you so very much joyce!! my stuff weren't much, but they were complete. i still needed to label my files, pasted my fabric samples and write labels for my garment, all of which was done very carefully and slowly. not because i'm being very careful, but because my hands were shaking, i didn't know why. my hands always shook whenever i'm feeling too agitated and during assessments.
some mishaps that happened (they always happened during every assessments): people came in late, brandy forgot her CPJ so she rushed back home to retrieve it, and her stuff was not properly displayed, san also came in late. i felt sorry for them, but still weren't very happy to share my table with them, and joyce, too, felt that at this kind of time it might be considered selfish, but it's their responsibility to come early and book a place to set their stuff, and our rights to keep our table for ourselves. our table can't be the place where all the latecomers come and set their stuff, right? firdaus and jeline shared a rack and right at the time when we were supposed to clear the table it broke apart with a loud yell from firdaus. me, joyce and hidayah came back to help them out too, luckily it was easy to fall down and easy to set up too.
separated from everyone with less conversations than i expected, considering that many of us weren't going to continue to BA and thus this would be our last assessment ever. but well *shrugs* we still have the day when we need to come and collect our assessment stuff, ne?
it's quite funny that we were together for 2 years, and i only started to really be in conversations with alice (another indonesian) in the past 2 weeks or so; and that dira didn't know that my full name is "jap hana", she thought that the "jap" stood for "japanese" which was my obsessions, and so when she saw me making my portfolio front page with my full name, she was like "kok "jap" nya ditaro?" and i looked at her and said, "kan surname gw" and she was like *wide-eyed* "gw kira itu loe sengaja taro sendiri!!" xDD; and that i was finally able to talk a little bit with desmond tong on the assessment day itself. i still wished to get to know some people in greater depth, interesting people whose designs always catch my eyes. but, our 2 years were up, ne?
hope to see you guys around again sometimes... there won't be too many more updates which i could label "school", i realised that, but hopefully i would be accepted at BA and thus have another year to bitch about and talk about the school, friends, teachers and the journey at attaining the title of 'fashion designer BA holder'.Labels: school

i just spent my 3rd sleepless night, and quite weirdly i'm not as sleepy as i was last semester o.O my sleep-battery that i recharged a few days ago might still be functioning ^^
well, that's it. liberation. the end of hell. the start of another hell. the awaiting result.

finally printed the most important bulk of my portfolio today, spent 50 bucks, but i'm a bit relieved now. left the illustrations and the collection plan which both i will tackle tonight!
anyway, just now was doing tacking of my garment in the sewing room with merry, no music, so i was kinda bored.. in the end i was whistling all the disney songs i could think of, and demond tong finally turned on his computer music. but then, i was still kinda bored. so i sms-ed obachan, asking her to call me if she has the time to spare.
and so she called, and so started the ramblings... this and that, but mostly revolving johnny jimusho since, as anyone would've guessed by now, it's one of our, iie make it the most favourite topic of ours lately xD and so i left school still talking about JE boys and yada yada yada, and so we said goodbye just before i reached my lift, and i walked into the house, into my room, to find koko in front of the comp, and a package sitting on my desk: omiyage from lysia (thank you lysia!!)
and so i first opened the package that intrigued me more (i always like to have new books or magazines than other small stuffs ^^) and its content was............. TADAAA...... TWO magazines(!!!) which titles were familiar enough for me to suddenly started laughing and giggling to nobody else but to myself.
lysia, panjang umur loe!! just as i left the topic a few minutes earlier on while talking with obachan, the magazines were: Myojo and Potato, and those who know would understand why it felt hilarious for me to come home and find these 2 magz sitting on my desk when i was just talking about its contents with obachan xDD
the myojo was THE myojo that i told hany i found in kino and would like to buy, the myojo featuring NEWS as the cover page, and both Myojo and Potato has Hey! Say! Jump's pin-up poster!
i called obachan back immediately, and as i flipped page per page, i kept letting out squeals that ought to have hurt her ears xDD (and earned myself numerous "hush" from koko behind xDD) "chinen!!! yama-chan!! oh my goodness!! LOL!!! oh, got ryo also!!! eehh? isn't that....toma??!?!??! kyaaa!!!" that's about the best summary i can give you in regards to the content of my squeals xDD

yesterday spent the whole night at merr's place doing portfolio. i'm 90% done with it. now just need to do the other 10%, go to print it out, go to arab street and source for several specific fabric (and for lining, if possible), go to school and finish tacking my embellishment, do the lining and complete the finishing (and thus completing my garment) and tonight shall spend another night there to do collection plan and illustration. and arranging my portfolio too.
whew, what a packed day, eh?
well finally i'm into combat mode now.
by the grace of god, i can do photoshoot early tomorrow, edit it straight away and print it out, and then do catalogue for helene, and spend the night cutting fabric samples to be put inside the portfolio.

pi's daite senorita being sung by SO many people lining up on the stage made me went "WOW~!!" i don't know much about johnny's so correct me if i'm wrong, but i'm guessing that it's one of the very rare song that's produced under a solo work of a johnny and being sung by representative fromalmost ever JE groups... i think it's super cool! =DD banzai pi-chan!!
and then, right after that: "FINALLY, a draught of beautiful breeze after so many minutes of typical happy-go-lucky johnny's song and voices" ^________^ quite weirdly, eventhough massu appeared to be singing, i only caught yuyaan's voice O.O was the audio quality that bad?? yay for sakamoto for joining the song!! xD but, no yay for such a SHORT performance *sighs*

went back early today, again took taxi with shan, her house is barely 2bucks away from mine. i convinced merry that, since she was very sleepy today and ended up making a lot of mistakes which in the end she had to redo, it'd be better for her to invest a few precious hours for sleeping so that tomorrow she can do her work better at a much faster rate.
i've been trying to do what pi-chan's been doing these few days too, sleeping early and waking up early. unlike him who suspected that he'd get tired early, for me to be able to wake up early means that i've had enough sleep and thus i won't get tired easily, just like today, right now, i'm not sleepy at all. but since i suspect that from tomorrow onwards i might not get these precious hours of sleep til monday, and my workload is still scarily high (eventhough i think i've cleared quite a sum today), i'll need this sleep.
btw nat, about uchi and kusano. hmm.... some NewS fans are still waiting for them to come, and some are optimistic that they will come back, and some are even fanatically saying that NewS has 8 members, not 6. well since i didn't know them from such an early time, and since i thought that it was such a pity and a hard blow for NEWS to be on "temporarily-disbanded" status for almost a year because of those two's actions, i'm not really in favour of them coming back. NewS might have 8 members, but NEWS has 6 members, who've worked really hard this 1 year since their coming back last year, and i think it's only fair that they stay as who they are... besides, do they really lose anything by losing the 2 of them, other than the fact that tesshi won't be the youngest member anymore if they come back?
i am somewhat glad (though i know i'm not supposed to) that they were on hiatus for that one year, coz tegomass was able to be active during that time, and pi-chan also released his solo single, ne? kei-chan was managing the shounen club, i guess, as a host. i didn't know what ryo-chan and shige were doing though... shige could've been concentrating on his studies perhaps?
pi-chan's clearly spending more time with shige. "he's a strong writer" --> hullo, he's a law student, he needs to be good with this kind of thing, ne? if i'm being exposed more to shige (through pi-chan's jweb entries...) perhaps i could start liking him ^^ come, pi-chan, talk more about shige xD
i shall go to sleep now and wake up early tomorrow to continue my portfolio. planning to finish my garment tomorrow, so today i'll concentrate on my portfolio, hopefully i can print them out by tomorrow morning... wish me luck! 3 more days before assessment on 21st!!
ps: just went to facebook. man, the person who's managing the yamapi account is super commendable, i've already read pi-chan's jweb entry for the day O.O i wonder when he get those time to watch plays and all that... he rarely talked about work, ne? but from the interview that i saw earlier on, it seemed like his schedule for a day is super-duper packed! hmmm... really cool...
btw, today i've started on my "operation dira conversion", or what xD basically i'm going to try to convert her into NEWS fan, and hey!say!7! xDDD well she wasn't willing, coz she said, "i'll listen to NEWS but you have to listen to Arashi, i think it's a fair bargain", to which i stopped and think. well, i AM interested to listen to satoshi ohno's voice more, the one who supposedly has one of the best voice in JE. as long as i don't have to see matsujun, i agreed xDD i let her watch the hey!say! didn't go for the required "last checking session" today, coz i haven't finished enough to dare to show anything to nic v___v i really should start pacing myself according to my own speed instead of listening to other people's recommendations on what i should do. oh well, not that it matters much anyway, at the end of the day everything's got to be finished anyway...
i did quite a lot today, i guess. still have to keep up my speed, but at least compared to yesterday's really unproductive night, i feel quite satisfied today. time to start turning on my combat mode!
@obachan: congratulations on the successful first paper! i will forgive you for the time being because i'm still in assessment mode but once i'm done with my assessment, i think i should do the essay which shall be titled: "NEWS members, the person they seemingly are, and the person that might be hiding beneath that", and underneath that, a disclaimer: "in hana's perception".
yuyaan is an only child, which i'm sure you and i can not understand what it feels to be like but it's more a common conception that an only child is spoilt and more self-centered, ne? no doubt that yuyaan has that side in him (in abundance, if i might say, admire him as i might) but..... okay, i shall not go into the essay now.

just reached home, had finished bathing and now sitting in front of the computer, ready to embark on the scary journey of layout-ing portfolio. today was another prove that i work well under pressure. no, make that "i work under pressure", which means that under no pressure i usually can NOT do any work. look at me wasting almost the whole entire night doing nothing (includes: calling my dad in jakarta, msn-ing with lin, scrabulous-ing with lin, combing facebook for teachers and poking them) while merr was sewing, and after she finished sewing and joined me at computer work my mind snapped into working mode (she finished her technical drawing already, hana!!! what have YOU done????) and within an hour i finished 2 technical drawings.
now the question is: how to put myself under pressure without putting myself in a dangerous situation lest the attempt failed and i still wouldn't work?Labels: school

just came back home after sewing from 5pm. so freakin tired... my design is simple but very tedious to do v_v didn't manage to finish doing the final garment today, but finished about 75% of the workload. will finish by this weekend.
tomorrow will do portfolio for the whole day so that can show nic and lionel on thursday.
ate with CK today. it's so fun =) after the first session of eating, suddenly it became almost natural for CK and CA to eat with us during lunch or dinner (CA usually lunch, CK usually dinner).
will borrow koko's laptop to school tomorrow if possible. can't do work at home.

watch Hey! say! 7's PV making and i dare you to say that chinen, yamada and nakajima are not the cutest juniors in JE! they're so freakin cute! xD (i'd love to start calling them with their first names, but somehow yuri, ryosuke and yuuto don't sound familiar, ne?)
chinen is like the baby, always sits on people's laps and likes to get pampered, but with that face of his, who'd complain?? yamada is the second cutest (from my point of view) but he's also very masculine if compared to chinen ^^ and, quoting yuuto, "I'm going to fall for yamada if i'm a girl" xD i suspect he's gonna have rather deep voice later on, yamada. nakajima (yuuto) is the third cutest, always with a genuine sincere smile on his face, doesn't behave too childishly, but somehow radiated lesser masculinity than yamada...perhaps because he's always smiling ^^ arioka is another cute one, though my attention was already spent too much on the first 3 to pay much attention to him xD takaki is like the oldest, though he's not too cute he's quite comfortable in front of the camera, ne?

btw, our work is supposed to be all done by 18th, but my real assessment is on 21st, monday. the next day is usually common-fainting-day for all fashion students, as in we go home, super-bloody-exhausted, and fall asleep for the next 15hours+++ like a dead person. so, i'll start my drama-marathon on the 20th perhaps? ^^ you'll be safe for quite sometime, coz usually as i watch the drama i do my commenting in wordpad, and they usually stay unpublished, coz it's the place where i unleashed my fangirl-mode in full fledge and where i write anything and everything that comes to mind as i watch. obviously editing them will take too much time, so usually after i finished the whole thing, i do summary. usually la =P
and, about abiru or yuu or whoever... after you n hany did those bitching and talking, i came back home, and she started telling me again. and i was like, "ok la, you know that you won't like her already why you still look out for her?" and things like such. if they're meant to be together, then be happy for pi-chan for finding a girl who can share his days with. if they're not meant to be together, then pi-chan would have learnt a valuable lesson and be a stronger person and move on in life. in any case, just be happy for him and continue to support him instead of questioning his decision to go steady with this girl... people makes mistakes, ne? but who would know that this decision is a mistake or not? only time can reveal. meanwhile, personally, bitching will just get me too heated up and pissed and all sorts of weird images will start popping up in my head and pi-chan's image would be destroyed. so to protect my current image of pi-chan, i refuse to get into any form of bitching about anything or anybody related to his personal life, coz what matters is pi-chan himself, ne? =P

btw this morning i was dreaming of gackt and yochan o.O such a weird dream when i'm still in jpop and NEWS mood, really... in my dream, i was in Nicole Scherzinger's concert, and i was suddenly reminded, "if this is nicole's concert, yochan would surely be watching!!" and so i got soooo excited and i started looking around and scanning the crowd for yochan... and i saw some yochan look-alikes, many of them, but i was looking out for the real thing... and i remembered that i was eating Chuba (Kusuka fans, eat your hearts out when you eat this snack =p) and my fingers were coated with the crumbs, when suddenly gackt walked pass by in a hurry. O.o brushing my hand on my pants to clean the crumbs off, i called him, and he stopped, and i asked if he could take pic with me, and i asked a person to take pic with my camera, and me, gackt and hany were posing, and then as i took back the phone to see the result...my alarm clock went off >_< size="1">>

today CK came to school. was so so surprised to see him when i came back from the toilet. for one, it was around 9-10 o clock, i think? and he's not usually in school unless he has something to do. i saw some of his friends... and apparently he dropped by because he was worried about us when he saw the lights on at the classroom... so sweet of him!

dari smua guru yg pernah gw temuin selama ini, dia termasuk dalam kategori yg "super rare", guru yg memperlakukan smua murid dgn sama rata dan adil and more. di kelas, gw termasuk pendiem, quiet and overlooked. smua guru kayaknya peduli-ga-peduli sama gw, just like how they treat other students like me. tapi CK beda! dia slalu peduli sama smua orang, apalagi kalo kerasa bahwa loe kayak ga termasuk dalam percakapan... i duno why, tapi gada guru yg (kalo lagi jelasin sesuatu) trus tiba2 langsung nanya, "right, hana?" ato "hana, do you understand?" ato apaa gt... gw lagi dengerin, jelas2 banget gw lagi dengerin. cuma, kadang gw ngangguk2 kadang ngga... minghui slalu bilang kalo muka gw tu bener2 menunjukkan kalo gw ngerti ato ngga, mungkin CK bisa ngliat waktu gw ngerti dan ga ngerti, n waktu gw ga ngerti dia nanya, kali ya? tapi, dia bener2 give the feeling that dia bener2 peduli sama loe.

i think i've mentioned earlier how for the past week more people had been coming to school to do their work. today in particular there were even more people than usual ---> resident of G503/502 (me, mimi, merr), the usual people (desmond lin, desmond tong, san, dira, amot, rachel), the sometimes-i-see-sometimes-i-don't people (syarif, alice, juffry) and more (joe, and a whole load of people whom i still duno O.O).
btw, from today onwards i'll be trying hard to remember the saying "malu bertanya sesat di jalan". it's week 14. assessment is next week. and only today that i've decided on my final garment, and all decision were helped by 3 teachers, 2 out of whom didn't even have to come today but they came anyway for various reasons and were gracious enough to lend us all desperate help. thank you, teachers!!
i've started on my mortally-frightening journey of illustrations. i've decided to take things slowly...by colouring the skin and face first xD tomorrow i'll propose some colour matchings and see which ones are the best and then proceed on colouring the garments. by the grace of God, i can finish more than half by the end of the day, after which i will proceed on to tackle my final garment on sunday.
and, if the above allowed, i'll be able to tackle my portfolio and catalogue early so that i can make a second final garment.... hmm, too ambitious perhaps xD but we shall see.
it's been 2 days, or was it 3, since i lent hany my iPod? now i'm back to listening to songs through my beloved phone. i've been easing myself back into JRock mode by putting in random all the jrock songs i got on that fated day when i got Ai Nante in the midst of my jrock-hunting session and was hooked to yuyaan's voice. some of the songs are from DuelJewel, Psycho le Cemu, Acid Black Cherry and D-sire or something... i also have some Rentrer en Soi songs. this band is...intriguing, coz for one i still don't know much about them other than the singer is called satsuki, and i like his unique singing a LOT, and for another i don't seem to find them everywhere in any music magz that i happen to buy, eventhough i really really like almost all of their songs that i've heard...
i realise that there are some voices that i like so much until i listen to the songs for the voice, not the melody or the music, and i will seek their songs just so that i can get more of their voices o.O some of them are like: yuyaan's (of course), hayato from DuelJewel, yasu from Janne da Arc, hyde from L'Arc en Ciel, satsuki from Rentrer en Soi, and YUI. they aren't exactly what you'd call the best singers out there, though they are undoubtedly good, and yet i will seek their songs for their voices, unlike other strong singers like gackt, or yuki (from Raphael), or Asagi (from D), or nishikawa takanori (from Abingdon Boys School, T.M. Revolution). sometimes they have too strong a vibrato that it turned me off... i much prefer soft vibrato like hayato's to gackt's too strong one o.o
anyway... i'm gonna sleep. i'm gonna have a chance of one last LOOOOOOOOOONG sleep before i battle the last hurdle of hell this semester, next week, during which i really doubt i can get more than afew hours of sleep everyday... the next time i sleep for long would be after assessment on 18th. so, today... oyasumi nasai~

i'm actually not supposed to be happy and proud to say that i've made my very first handphone theme on pi-chan's birthday! no rewards for guessing who's the star of my theme xD i've had the sony ericsson's theme creator for a long time, i also tried to make one, once...but found out that it's very ma fan, so i stopped. who knows that on pi-chan's birthday i suddenly had the urge (accompanied by the stamina, patience and craziness) to sit for 3 hours in front of the computer with 3 programmes opened (irfanview, photoshop and theme creator) and created my very first theme (^________^) when i was supposed to be at school doing my work...
albeit to say i ended up going to school at 5pm. klintonn was there when i went into the classroom, and he commented, "you're late xD" xD well, yea... wednesdays are always like that. i always go to school, but it's always "after lunch" which really means 3pm for me. only last wednesday i broke the rule and went at 5pm xDD
but i'm very proud of my creation! ^___^ pi-chan everywhere now in my handphone, pi-chan (and yuyaan!!) at standby, pi-chan watching me as i type my message, pi-chan telling me "don't be late" when i set my alarm clock (and when i'm sending message too, oops~), pi-chan kissing yuyaan at my phonebook, and literally pi-chan's lips everywhere xDD i think if i were to make my second theme, i must make sure that i don't use too many lips pics, eventhough his lips look really yummylicious everywhere anyway xDD
add that to the fact that my current ringtone is Chirarizumu for normal call, Dreams for merr&mimi (2 people who call me the most), Nantoka Narusa for koko&hany (who call me sometimes too), and Koi Yake's "p.s. arigatou~" as my message alert tone, it's really the ultimate prove of my current NEWS craze. i just wonder how long will it last...

alright i don't claim that i look like yuyaan (he's cuter than me >"< > ouch), but for some people to agree that there's some resemblance between us, it's an honour for me ^^)v especially san who mentioned eyes as some of the similar features, coz i admire yuyaan's brilliant eyes ^^ (tho perhaps not as much as i admire gackt's!)
right, let's include a bit of reality now. sangeetha, whom i used to call san (and more recently got confused with another new student in my class who's called san-san, and happened to be san's old classmate o.O) noticed that merr&mimi sometimes were looking for me and the words that she sharply picked up were: hana mana? OR mana hana?
so, since a few days ago she has great fun in saying hanamana and manahana while in my presence... while i like my own name and i like the word mana since it reminds me of mana-sama, the combination of both words sounds weird whichever word gets mentioned first O.o... but she's having too great fun of a time to stop calling me that, so in the end i decided to get her a nickname too. i asked her to pick one, and she didn't want to. so i asked desmond to pick one, and he picked "orange" since she happened to be wearing bright orange dress today, and she said that orange is her fave colour. and thus born the nickname "jeruk" xDD she said it sounded like a curse word LOL!! xDDDD o well... xD
about arigatou ima. when watching the vid at hany's blog, i closed my eyes, coz i wanted to guess who sang which part, coz i thought they'd be singing the exact same version as the album. turned out that they didn't -_-;;; the first time i heard this song, i thought it was kusano's solo O.O bear in mind that i was listening to NEWS songs in mass, not specifically per album or single, so i didn't know that this song was one rare song in which moriuchi's voice was heard (and in majority part too!)
listening to the single version, really really really, i'm not surprised that i wasn't able to notice that it was 3 different people singing, coz (even now!) i think they sounded really really similar >"< > i can't pick out yuyaan's voice other than during the chorus, massu's only sometimes (coz his voice had always sounded very special since the beginning), and the rest are all.....blurrishly similar O.O if yuyaan's voice had developed into such extent, i wonder how good moriuchi's singing is now...
this is week 14, day 4 (i always blog at night, and it's always gets published under the next day's date). i finally finished my 2 toiles. as in, really done! now i'm gonna catch up on illustrations, which i'm sure will give me depression as bad as mimi's and merr's dresses gave them depression... God help me that i can be more confident in my own skill and don't compare myself too much with the queens of illustrations who are my 2 dear friends...

the first point reminds me of tesshi's Shounen Club Premium incident... the host (one of TOKIO members) asked him, "how did you know about this interview?" and tesshi said that he always watch SC Premium shows, and at the end of the session they usually announce who would the next guest be, and one morning he was watching is with his family and they were all very very shocked when they announced his name, and that's how he got to know about the interview xDDD and as such, nat, i had never heard of this choir girls party until i read that paragraph =P
2nd point: can i ask dira to come along too please? =DD i owed her a k-box session since last semester v_v usually the 4 of us (me, mimi, merr, joyce) would go k-ok-ing after assessment, and i told dira so, and i promised her that we'd get her to come the next time we go. but last year mimi and merr went for the PSC competition, and thus our normal after-assessment-celebration activities were disrupted. let's go! dira reads japanese too! but she's not into johnny's xDD tadi aja pas gw ngasi liat foto gw ma pi-chan's birthday card, she was lamenting again:

ne... hmm... i guess different people pick up different sound huh? =P i don't know whether it's because i really really like yuyaan's voice or what, but everytime he sings, 90% of the time i know straight away that it's him singing. his voice is that clear to me! and it's actually true that he doesn't always end his note in vibrato. but still remains that if you ever hear a vibrato in NEWS, 95% chances are it's his.
btw now i know a perfect word to describe yuyaan's voice. i've been racking my brains trying to find the right word since the first time i heard his voice. soft, sweet, clear, pure, all could be used to describe his voice but none really matches perfectly to what i wanted to say. and now, thank you to mother tongue, i found the word! ---> merdu~ =DDD
not all good singer has suara merdu, alright. personally for me, merdu is a very specific word used to describe a voice that is beautiful, not too strong and heavy but still powerful, sweet but not cempreng, clear and solid but light at the same time...
another voice that i would describe as 'merdu' would be.................... hmmm................................. err................. etoo............................................ hmmm..................................... err................................. anoooo.............................................. shyt i can't think of a name now >_< but let me describe some other voices. YUI's is light and clear, massu's is sweet and smiling, gackt's is strong, sometimes light sometimes heavy, ayumi's is nasal, toshi's is incredibly high-pitch and strong, enya's is ethereal... eh, we're getting out of point....
anyway, i want to talk more about that last topic, about the life as an idol and the real person that is beneath the idol as we see them. as i've said earlier on, for almost all NEWS members (except shige) i can almost sense another person beneath their idol face, there's a mysterious side of them that is sometimes exposed. perhaps not their real self, but definitely a different face than the normal happy-go-lucky-always-smiling-for-the-fans idols' faces. i want to talk about it...but not now. i want to be able to have all the time in the world to really say what i think about them, my guesses, my predictions, my thoughts, blah blah blah... so i'll wait for another 8 days (freakin goodness!!!!!!!!!!!!) and blog about it then.
it's been almost 2 months since i wear my iLuv headphones to school everyday. it acts as headphone and as hairband at the same time. when i'm not snapping it to my ears, i kept it behind my ears (like asakura yoh, for those who watch Shaman King ^^) even klintonn had registered that i use the headphone as hairband too. and today i broke my new look. i lent my iPod to hany since she so wanted to listen to NEWS songs other than when she's at home, and NEWS songs in my iPod had been under super-duper-heavy rotation since the first day i got their songs til now, and i really feel that i would be getting sick of them soon. so i let her borrow it to school.
...only to find that by 7pm i've started to miss listening to NEWS songs...... and i listened to my phone, and almost too happy to listen to Sunadokei and Miso Soup O.O
btw, talking about Miso Soup, i'd say that tesshi has really good english pronounciations, for an average japanese person standard, that is. he pronounce all the endings diligently! "just another same old day, picking of the same old food that dinner from the shelf... another package arrived with a note, asking if everything's alright with me... tender care is always nice and hot, i'm always a kid i'm never be matured enough~" i think i might not be pronouncing my words as clearly as him when i sing xDD always a problem in choir.

writing birthday card to pi
obachan said that i was crazy when i said that i'm going to send him a birthday card. but i'm true to my word, as i would always like to be when it comes to anything about my idols. there are unfortunate times when yoshiki birthday project didn't come true, but at least the very first one did ^^ and this time i really did write a birthday message to pi-chan
you don't know how hard it is to write something to your idol until when you actually sit down and face the blank paper. it's hard! it took me an hour to think of the card design (hand made!) and possible content of the message, and another hour to look up for the japanese words that i wanted to use and order my sentences and content properly and write them down.
the 'cards' are, as you can see, "yama" and "P". on the border of "yama" i wrote continuous "p"s and on the border of "P" i wrote continuous "yama" xDD on the "yama" my message was (in japanese): happy birthday! i'm hana. because i'm from singapore, my japanese is not very good. that's why i'll write in english. (continue to "P"). on the "P" i wrote things like: congrats on kurosagi and prodai SP, really like his voice and tesshi's (plus "hontou ni daisuki desu!" in japanese LOL), hope to hear more of his solos, and good luck on his graduation in september.
it wasn't as hard as designing the birthday card for yochan 5 years ago, but it's still hard. i hope Pi reads it and understand what i was saying ^^ i kept my english to the simplest and deliver my message clearly, so he should be able to understand, deshou? ^^

btw nat, hidoi desu yo! i was watching the hey!hey!hey! at 4am, hany's asleep already and i had to really clamp my hand tightly on my mouth to keep myself from laughing (coz hany woke up once while i was laughing as i watched NEWS clips and she was pissed -_-) this is truly the very first TV show they appeared as, eh? but how come at Domoto Kyoudai tesshi said that he hasn't been on TV before? he lied! xDD as was shige! how could he say that he was 17 when he's 15 like tesshi, or at most 16? o.O
i think there's something about tesshi that....just attracts attention! i duno what! hamada loves to pick on tesshi, ne? and so was tsuyoshi during domoto kyoudai... eventhough he looked the plain-est among all others... for both sessions (domoto kyoudai and hey hey hey) he was picked upon, very specifically too.... and for both sessions he was offered to sit at the host's seat...
and i think apart from these 2 i-guess-earliest sessions, ALL the other variety shows that i've watched, which have NEWS members sitting in 2 rows, tesshi is always at the front row with yamapi O.O always! it might be tesshi-pi-ryo, tesshi-pi-kei or what, but tesshi's always at the front. why? o.O not that i'm complaining or what but... perhaps tesshi does have the X factor, ne? xD
they bully poor yuyaan....... so mean!! but poor yuyaan is not so easy to be bullied, deshou ne, yuyaan ^^ i've been admiring his personality since that domoto kyoudai session and the one when he got badly pranked upon. he has got character, yuyaan ^^Labels: NEWS, yamapi

x japan reunion concert part...?
can't remember when, i was talking to obachan on the phone and she asked "so how's your x japan concert?" and i said, "err...yea..." and obachan said, "like that only, ahz? xD"
i'm sorry, i'm very very distracted at the moment... i'll need time to get back to my original self....
i just went to official x japan myspace and watched the official clip for the Creation Night, 30th march 2008. as i smiled and laughed at the performance and their cute silliness, i realised, too, that a frown had formed between my eyebrows, so that i was laughing but bitterly... especially when toshi hugged yochan and they both fell to the floor after spinning round and round and made pata fell too... and at the last part when yochan and toshi were carrying a truly-gigantic hide plushie and were waving its arms around at the audience... and yochan yelled into the microphone with almost-spent voice "mata ao no (?? that's what i caught)" and he led the fans into the trademark chanting "we are...?" "X!" for the first time...
it's absolutely wonderful to watch the concert, even if it's such a short snippets, to see their laughing faces once again, especially to see yochan and toshi talking again, interacting, being silly together, like at the Hamettsu ni Mukatte 1992 concert... it's absolutely awesome! after this concert, The Last Live seemed like a really sad dream...
i guess x japan is still the best for me after all.

just want to register my astonishment and bewilderment that even after watching the Never Ending Wonderful Story DVD, hany still remains at her opinion that tesshi's voice is....to quote her words: "not heard" and that he sounded "like that" (reads: normal, not outstanding)....
i had thought that upon watching the DVD she would start recognising the owner of the voices and thus started recognising tesshi's voice... but apparently not -_- which really makes me quite flabbergasted, really... like *speechless* "you still think that his voice is not good...???????"
is it my hearing that is weird, or is it hers? i picked up yuyaan's voice everywhere. okay perhaps not as everywhere as i picked up inocchi's (i literally hear his voice everywhere in V6's songs, excluding the solo parts, of course) but yuyaan's voice is NOT that unheard-of...deshou?!
in the choir terms, it's good to have voice that blends with everyone's. but, eventhough i agree that his voice is not striking to the ear like massu's smiling voice or shige's flu-voice or ryo's rough-voice, or kei-chan's high-pitch voice, or pi-chan's voice (shyt i duno how to describe his voice xD), yuyaan has his own distinct voice colour that stands out from the rest! i can pick him out almost everywhere! well, when he was not being drowned over other cempreng voices, that is =P if i have to describe his voice, i guess the best word to use is: clear.
and i still duno how to describe yamapi's voice... hmmm.... obachan used the phrase "like he has a cold" but i think shige is more so than pi-chan. so i duno how to describe pi's voice...
not even considering the fact that the other members unanimously agree that tesshi's voice is the best, how could anyone think that tesshi's voice is not good??? i mean......how could???? *still astonished*
well, perhaps as a consolation, she thinks that massu's voice is the best. i'm not gonna agree to that, but at the very least she no longer thinks that kei-chan has the best voice. i'm sorry kei-chan, i like you very, very much and all, but you're not exactly the strongest in the voice area, ne. and, i like massu's voice too, perhaps my 2nd favourite in NEWS, alongside yamapi's. his smiling voice stands out, yeah, it's striking to the ear and very easy to catch (when you can differentiate between his and kei-chan's that is) and his studio-singing is awesome! but still, i don't think he's anywhere near tesshi's level, yet. period.
watched some more subbed clips from newshfan. i think it was christmas shounen club session or something, but there were hey say people and ya ya yah and the usual host and takki. i'm actually not quite ashamed to say that during the short clips featuring the past T&T (tackey and tsubasa) clips, my eyes were focused on the juniors at the back as i tried to spot yamada, chinen and yuuto xD sorry tackey & tsubasa...
nat, gomenne juliet that i have is either: a part of the subbed never ending wonderful story dvd or the one i took from youtube. the earlier one is so big (over 100mb perhaps) and the latter one has such lousy quality, so i suggest that you go to youtube and search for gomenne juliet there xD what i like is the dance moves. i think i have something for dance moves that involve a lot of intricate hands movement... they're enchanting... like Phantom of the Opera's brad little, remember? ^^
pi-chan's birthday is coming soon! i'm gonna send him a birthday card! ^___^ and perhaps i'll mention newshfan in my letter, since it's really all thanks to her that we can enjoy numerous news and other johnny jimusho related clips and understand what they're saying. anyway, yea, hany also wants to send a birthday card to pi-chan. i'm not gonna share mine with her, so i asked her to buy me a separate card if she's buying one xD let's make pi-chan read more letters!!! ^_____^
on a reality-related note: it's starting to be burned into my biological clock, my daily schedule. like, sleep for 7 hours (or less, usually), go home at around 11 pm, bathe, blog and watch news-related stuff, and sleep at 3am. today, i planned to get a bit more sleep to save some stamina for the week ahead, but apparently i really did wake up after 7 hours, even before my alarm clock set off >_< duno if it's good or bad... i slept again after that tho...only to be woken up by the normal loud-talking outside the room *sigh*
today is sunday (don't mind about the date of the post coz i'm posting this past midnight) and the number of stay-backers today is quite surprising. i'm gonna finish up both of my toiled tomorrow so that i can start really concentrating on my portfolio, and the real garment, of course.Labels: NEWS

who knows what's the difference? well you can easily google it and find out the answer from wikipedia. but let me summarise it for you to the barest essential:
this group is called hey! say! because the members are born in the heisei period (1989-present). initially they were a 5-member group called hey! say! 7 (i think the 7 comes from 2007, their debut year). later on 5 more members were incorporated into the group, making hey! say! jump. and later on, in this 10-member group, they were further split into 2 sub-groups: hey! say! best and hey! say! 7. the original hey! say! 7 members were split in these 2 new groups, retaining my fave 3 members (yamada, yuto and chinen) in the new hey! say! 7, and the other 2 were in hey! say! best.
needless to say that i will be following hey! say! 7, and not hey! say! best, if i ever started following getting crazy about them ^^

just watched NEWS's tokyo dome concert report that came with the russ-k hawaii report on obachan's blog. it reminded me of yamapi's comment that i heard sometime ago (can't remember where but it could be during Shounen Club Premium interview). he said that his dream used to be to release a solo CD. now that he'd done that, he wanted to sing at one of the domes instead of the usual arenas. he said that as he achieved more, he'd be aiming for bigger things, which is natural, of course. even yochan does.
now that they've held concert at THE Tokyo Dome, i wonder what's his next dream will be? =) and i wonder when will this Tokyo Dome concert DVD will be released... i suppose it's not too long ago coz they sang weeek which was released at the end of last year only...

nat, have you watched the 'ideal date' segments of NewS members? it was filmed when tesshi was around 16-17 i guess? he still had that ordinary-japanese-boy look xD i only watched 2 of them, pi-chan's and tesshi's, and i duno if tesshi was overly kiddy or pi-chan was overly mature, but even then pi-chan's ideal date was soooooo.....sweet and romantic! ^_____________^
the reaction when i watched that and when i watched the music fighter segment was about the same, "awww~~" and "pi-chan is so romantic~~~" and "so sweet~~~" at every few seconds xDDDD

after that session with tesshi, massu had brilliantly skipped the whole 'man-woman relationship' topic, and now it's come back to haunt ryo~~ xDDD he looked SO cute when he refused to yield and said, instead: ".......kore, docchi desuka?" ---> perhaps my most favourite phrase of the segment xDDDD
....right after "...AH! detto shinashaikenai?!" LOOOOL pi really hates to lose, doesn't he? but in this case he wasn't thinking much ahead xDD
if i were to pick one, i think i'll pick ryo-chan's and pi-chan's first, followed by kei-chan (MINUS the man-woman relationship, onegaishimasu!), followed by yuyaan's, followed by shige's and massu's. notice that the first 3 choices were by the 3 oldest members? xD pi's date sounded super ideal, but i guess i like a more laid-back and comfortable atmosphere, and the privacy of a home instead of public places. wait, this is not a first-date kind of thing right? if it does, i think i'll pick shige's date, coz it's the most easy-going as an introduction kind of thing (let's not even include massu's in the discussion xDD)
btw i really like everyone's look in this segment. when was is again?? ah! before hoshi wo mezashite??? that's so long!! pi's hair in the PV was long (and i don't like it) but here it's short.... must be ryo-chan's doing =p
btw again, i really never see pi's lower teeth other than during the hoshi wo mezashite PV...he really doesn't smile often, does he? and when he does, he only showed his upper teeth.... someone get me other clips where we can see pi's teeth =PP
i'm supposed to go to school to do more work... but it's already 3pm now >_< geez...

semester 2 week 13 day 4
this post is supposed to be published yesterday, but my internet went bonkers for a while -_-
you know you're a fashion student when:
1. the barrier between one week with another is blurred due to the fact that you still go to school during saturday AND sunday, staying back til 10-11pm each night without fail.
2. everyday you're visited by the security guard who'd remind you that "time's up" and you're supposed to go home, and you smile sweetly and say "ok" while lingering around longer just to finish a little more work.
3. friday night literally means that you can stay even longer than usual in school because there's Night Rider which can take you home past the normal last bus time.
4. as it gets nearer to assessment day, you find yourself getting 'high'-er more often, breaking into hysterical laughter at the slightest possible joke and slumping into high-stress sigh at the next breath, only to find that the person next to you was doing the same thing and broke into hysterical laughter again
5. cigarettes are not only important, it's necessary for survival! and for non-smokers, sweets, chips and chocolates are the next favourite alternatives for the needed sugar-boost for the day--long pattern drafting and sewing in school.
been having fun watching gakkou e ikou feat takki. i'm trying to find more gakkou e ikou clips, but with no success (since i've excluded both crunchyroll and youtube from my search result, the 2 more famous sources for such variety shows). i still can't find that gakkou e ikou feat yamapi!!! >_< someone please give it to me..... today had loads of fun in school.... drafting and being 'high' in stress with others. honestly, late-night working session does wonders to build closer relationship with other friends (and non-friends who became more friends as the days go by *winks).
