The last time i updated my skin was on Yochan's 43rd birthday, and a year had passed. I'm glad that his surgery went fine and i hope he's recovering well. Don't neglect your therapy, Yochan, and hope to see you next year in China ^^

Raphael - Evergreen
i've been listening to JRock for about 5 years, during which i've heard many many songs, some that i like, some that i don't like, some that i simply hate, some that were interesting but soon forgotten..
but there are some, very rare ones, which are so special that even long after i've lost the song (goodness knows how many times my comp crashed in 2005 alone) i still remember the song, the band, and i still look for them now and again (when i remembered about it). this song is one song that belongs to that really special category.
the first time i heard the song, within a few seconds i began liking it a lot. i love its joyful melody that lift up my spirits, and it's not short either (i like looong nice songs!). i simply love it!
and, just like other bands that have lost one of their members forever, i always pity the fact that there can never be more of such songs anymore from the band... rest in peace, Kazuki... meanwhile, Yuki, Hiro, Yukito, continue to work hard!! ^__^
edit: oh dear.. i'm in the middle of watching more Raphael's videos in youtube (i haven't been researching anything about them since the time when i heard about them) and was just telling myself, "hey, i found another really, really good guitarist that i really like!!" when i found out that kazuki is the guitarist.... *sobs*

yesterday my Blue Blood Special Edition came!! it was wrapped in impeccable packaging, as usual to cdjapan's shipment, to diminish any chances of the CD case getting cracked. everything seemed the same as the original Blue Blood album, which i'm thinking of selling at eBay now that i have the Special Edition, except the additional CD. what intrigued me was that when i put the CD into iTunes, there was no information for the songs, unlike almost all other official CDs that i have... which means that i have to enter all the information manually one by one o.O

still haven't finished watching, but reaching soon. i just watched the special 147-148th episode, and i must say that there are little anime out there with love story as tragic as inuyasha. eventhough the anime can be categorised under comedy, the core of the story is actually a really, really sad love story... and until now i still feel that there's no way inuyasha can make a choice without being unfair to either kagome or kikyou... poor thing...

yesterday, after watching the movie at lin's place on labour day, i started looking for videos on the net regarding Jean-baptiste Maunier, who starred in les Choristes as Pierre Morhange. surprisingly i found his official website, http://www.jbmaunier.net/en/home.html, and even more surprisingly i could download loads and loads of videos from there, direct download in .zip or .rar forms. cool~

about: Yochan underwent a surgery to correct his spine, a problem that had persisted since 1995, when he finally started to feel numbness in his fingers. the surgery went fine, thank goodness. hopefully he will recover completely and it doesn't affect his piano playing. as for drums...don't forget your neck braces everytime you drums, yochan!

Featuring: Versailles
Background: formed in 2007 by founding member Kamijo (ex Lareine) and Hizaki (ex Sulfuric Acid), they released their debut single Revenant Choir which tells a story about a clan.
Just as like Kamijo's past works, Versailles tells a story through their symphonic metal music and extravagantly elaborate costumes inspired from antique European era.
