i began visiting http://classicalarchives.com again for some classical midis. was trying to find this song which Ah-boy played in choir practice once. didn't expect to come across it, but i did! haha, this is so fun!! the variation of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, so cool! ^^ if you wanna download it, just go to that website and search for Mozart and look for this title: Ah vous dirais-je, Maman.
this chinese new year is a bit special to me. other than being back home to celebrate it, my parents also bought, for the first time, the chinese new year tree. those long stemmy plants with small little white cotton-like flower along the stem. bought a dozen of them and tomorrow we gonna shop for small things to be hung on it ^^ so fun! my parents decorate tree not during christmas but during chinese new year xD

we used to greet each other with "how are you? what had happened to you in the past months?" or similar stuff. but now, i realised while i was chatting on MSN with my friends, a phrase will always come up as a greeting phrase: "where are you now?"
yesterday, as if to answer my plea, right after i made my entry i 'met' with five old friends of mine on the net. what i meant by 'met' is i saw them in one of the services on the net and caught up with their recent news, thanks to Friendster and MSN Messenger.
Tarakanita 3 associates
one of my best friend in primary school days messaged me through Friendster, Mellissa. this is not Melon my friend in St Marg's days. this girl, like me, went abroad after finishing primary school. however, unlike me who went to nearby Malaysia, she went to Australia and is still there right now, looking for the best uni courses for her. she used to sit by my side while i was in grade 5-6 and used to be my drawing mate. both of us love to draw and in the midst of lessons, often times we just started drawing short-strip comics and exchanged with one another ^^ my drawing always called 'childish' by my friends, quite the opposite of hers which is considered 'mature' =p missed her so much! it's been more than 7 years since i last saw her!
Chung Ling associates
my long lost cousin, i always call him 'koko' Sigit though, messaged me through Friendster also. he'd finished his uni in the States and has been back in Jakarta, helping his dad's business. that's good news! i only saw him once after i left Penang, so i've not seen him for 6 years O.O he used to be one person which i trusted the most in those days. but when i went to singapore, and several years later he went to States, we kinda lost contact v.v
i talked with Vanity again last night, one of my best friend in Chung Ling who's currently studying in La Salle SIA. yep, in singapore. she brought into the conversation 2 of my ex-classmates which i also never met after i left Penang, 'kakek' Surya and Wilson. kakek is in Medan, enjoying holiday right now, and he's still studying in Penang. Wilson had moved to singapore like when i started JC and he's now in Republic Poly.
what i didn't expect to hear when i saw them was: hana, loe ternyata suka X Japan juga??
O.O my friend Wilson, whom i seldom talked with in Chung Ling days, is an X fan!!! goodness, how cool is that??? might not seem like big news for you, especially those who are fans of well-known bands like Laruku or Glay, for their fans are everywhere around the globe, but X fans know that we are few and far in between. so yesterday we went ecstatic! but since we also have conversation with the other 2 old friends, we barely even scratched the surface while talking about X yesterday. for instance, i don't even know if he's in hide's league or yoshiki's league, or fan of both. must talk to you soon, wilson! don't worry, i have The Last Live in VCD format ^^
no matter what, i'm glad i went online yesterday. i was just thinking of checking the screamingKIAI board yesterday to see if there are new discussion on our new project when i decided to on the MSN and went to check my friendster account. it's a good thing i did, eh? ^^

i like to travel. meaning to take a ride, a long ride, and enjoy the scenery outside. there's a reason why i'm almost always at the front-seat of the car if my dad's not occupying it. i like long, peaceful, smooth journey that i can spend watching the scenery outside, watching the clouds, or just other cars wheezing past by, or my car wheezing past by them if my uncle happen to be driving.
i don't know why i'm posting this... maybe because just now i got out of the house for the first time this week and i enjoyed looking at the sun in the far horizon....
i need topic! help!
and i still need music for my blog.
ps: someone just kinda 'proposed' to me in MSN o.O and i never even met this person before... weird...Your Blog Should Be Green
Your blog is smart and thoughtful - not a lot of fluff.
You enjoy a good discussion, especially if it involves picking apart ideas.
However, you tend to get easily annoyed by any thoughtless comments in your blog.

what a wonderful manga!! i know i've blogged about it before, how it managed to capture the whole of my attention for many, many chapters in one go. but i also said that around chapter 60 or so the story was lagging and it wasn't as interesting as the first 50s chapters where the story was highly thrilling. i've continued reading it and now i can repeat whatever opinions i had when i read the first 50 chapters, this manga is AWESOME!!! Labels: manga anime
forgive me for saying this, actually i don't want to give spoilers, but i really do like Teru Mikami!! he looked so cool, even cooler than Light himself perhaps! haha! i know that some principle of Kira is not appropriate, but still i consider Light, aka Kira, as the 'good guy' in the manga, and i support him! for many chapters after around the 60, when the story started to lag, Light's movement was restricted, thanks to N and M, and he doesn't show his intelligence as much as before for being cautious. yet, he'd managed to wriggle free at 88th chapter, and that chapter had truly refreshed me, who's tired of Light being so careful towards N and M. haha! way to go Mikami! Light-kun! ^______________^
today i tried posting music at a new place, but still not successful. i don't know how many webhosters i've tried so far, cjb, angelfire (this one i don't wanna use anymore, if i can help it), my school's webdisk... isn't there any place we can place a simple file such as midi that we don't have to pay? v.v i don't want to bother people, asking them to host the music for me, coz i might want to change it anytime, so i'm trying to find one which i can manage on my own. proves to be not-so-easy to get though.

i thought that cable connection is faster than broadband connection, that's why i was so happy when my mom said that the connection at home had been upgraded from dial-up to cable. but after trying it out, it's still much slower than my broadband connection in singapore v.v i couldn't play maple story here due to the extreme lag-ness >.<>.< i wonder if anyone had been priests or archmages yet =)
was bored out of my wits while trying to download maple game client and some mangas. wanted to re-read Death Note and the original website which i first read it from had taken it down. when i had found another website which hosted it, i had to download it, and with my current connection it took ages, literally >.< in the end, to kill time, i played with photoshop again. was halfway making new layout, this time i thought to make one for nata obachan , blue and serendipity title, when i remembered that i don't have any junichi's pics in my comp. since getting the pics took even longer time, i didn't finish it v.v
still trying to learn ways to put music in my blog. read from nata's blog that they're gonna make hosting music in blogs illegal or something *bleh* they can't say anything about midis, though, can they? i just don't know where to host the midis v.v
talked to vanity online yesterday, was trying to get some ideas on what to draw for my portfolio, but her comment is always the same: just draw anything! well, 'anything' means a lot of things, ne? and that's what making me confused >.< maybe i'll end up making another fanarts of Yochan... been hogging my playstation and computer too much for the past week, my pencil seem so heavy and my drawing block so far *bleh* growing lazier each day, can you believe it?
haven't been contacting my screamingKIAI mates for weeks. since i came back home and discovered that my aunt was hospitalised my schedule had completely broken down. it's time to pick up my routines again.

last week, while i was still behind the steering wheel of car for practice, i thought i was an okay driver. today, when i was behind the steering wheel of my dad's car, i thought i was a horrible one. v.v i guess my mental is too used to have my instructor, Pak Ambon, beside me giving out instruction now and then while he told me all sorts of stories, mostly his life experience. now that he's no longer there, i got scared and my performance dropped significantly. or maybe i'm not used to drive cars with power-steering ability, which able to run faster than the practice car. or maybe i was never such a good driver anyway.
today i drove my dad's car to my uncles houses in Kelapa Gading. my brother would have laughed at me, but i was really obeying the law in the freeway, driving in the speed limit 60-80km/h. once or twice i ran faster than that, more than twice i ran slower, haha =p near my third uncle's house, the car engine stopped right in the middle of the road about 5-6 times as i kept trying to move up the slope and the cars behind me were honking >.< that experience managed to lower down my confidence a little bit more *sigh*
well, maybe what i need is a little bit more practice. my bro already left the message, before he went back to singapore, that when he come back home i MUST be able to drive smoothly, and that i shall pick him up in the airport. *counting* that leaves me with about 4 months to practice, ne =p
anyway, i still unable to post up my post title.... anyone can help me? how to show the post title....??
edit: able to post my title *finally* ^^ when in question, always refer back to the original html codes which you use to analyse ;P

the first post, my second one in this address after 2 years, is dedicated to those who have helped me in making this debut creation of mine.
1. X Japan, for the logo.
2. Yoshiki, for the rest of the images. as you can see, other than his face in the middle of the posting area, my icons features things that are found inside a house. yepp, those are all from Yoshiki's house. the 'knock knock' is the door to his mansion in Encino, LA; 'melody of life' features his piano set in the middle room of his house; 'dinner gatherings' features his table set just beside the piano set; and 'poolside' features his pool, what else =p
3. Endless Dream, for providing those images. i do have the video clip of the show, but i don't have the software to make the snapshots ^^
4. blogskins.com for providing layouts and html codes which i can analyse bit by bit.
5. www.lisaexplains.com for some html helps
6. nata, for giving me the website www.w3schools.com for more html helps.
homecoming session. give me your comment, everyone!! ^_________________^

featuring: Yoshiki
about: Yochan underwent a surgery to correct his spine, a problem that had persisted since 1995, when he finally started to feel numbness in his fingers. the surgery went fine, thank goodness. hopefully he will recover completely and it doesn't affect his piano playing. as for drums...don't forget your neck braces everytime you drums, yochan!
etc: read below xD i've made too many layouts featuring Yoshiki i don't wish to repeat myself =P
http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v457/arsenalx/?action=view¤t=ekkusu3.jpg
Featuring: Versailles
Background: formed in 2007 by founding member Kamijo (ex Lareine) and Hizaki (ex Sulfuric Acid), they released their debut single Revenant Choir which tells a story about a clan.
Just as like Kamijo's past works, Versailles tells a story through their symphonic metal music and extravagantly elaborate costumes inspired from antique European era.
Members: Kamijo (vocals), Hizaki (guitar), Teru (guitar), Jasmine-You (bass), Yuki (drums)
etc: Versailles beautiful music managed to win my heart totally. saddened by the loss of Jasmine-YOU in 2009, but i hope the 4 of them will still make great music from now onwards. rest in peace, Jasmine-YOU, and watch out for the guys from up there...
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v449/arsenal_x/ekkusu2.1copy.jpg
featuring: S.K.I.N.
Background: Formed in 2007, performed first during Anime Expo at the States in May.
Members: Yoshiki (drums, piano, guitar), Gackt (vocal, piano), Sugizo (guitar, violin), Miyavi (guitar, shamisen)
etc: ekkusu phase 2.0 was lost because i didn't save it in photobucket (because it refused to upload it properly).
and so, from now i'll start my skin from phase .1 instead of .0
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v457/arsenalx/ekkusunostudio1-3.jpg
Featuring: Hiruma Youichi
Model's background: manga character (Eyeshield 21)
More about the model: quarterback of Deimon Devilbats, The Commander From Hell;
the backbone and the brain behind Deimon High School's American Football Club, The Deimon Devilbats.
Icons: various facial expressions of Hiruma, the maniacal, elven-faced leader of Devilbats ^^
Etc: Eyeshield 21 is a sports manga about American Football and it's one of my current favourite.
My rating for them is:
hilarity 10/10
excitement: 9/10
intellectual level: 9/10
drawing: 7/10
characterisation: 9/10
http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v457/arsenalx/?action=view¤t=yoshiki56trialwithrollovercopy.jpg
Featuring: Hayashi Yoshiki
Model's background: leader, drummer, pianist, main composer of legendary band X Japan (1982-1997); leader, drummer, pianist,
guitarist, composer of band Violet UK, debut coming soon.
More about the model: Yoshiki in the early X Japan era in early 90's when he still has long curly locks.
Etc: YOSHIKI IS MY HERO AND IDOL!
http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v457/arsenalx/th_yoshiki46copy.png
Featuring: Hayashi Yoshiki
Model's background: leader, drummer, pianist, main composer of legendary band X Japan (1982-1997); leader, drummer, pianist,
guitarist, composer of band Violet UK, debut coming soon. Born in Tateyama, Chiba (Japan) in 20th November 1965 and currently living in Los Angeles, California (USA).
Head company of Extasy Records, Extasy Japan and Extasy Records International (now defunct). http://myspace.com/yoshiki
More about the model: the faint background picture of Yoshiki was taken in the recent years when he's already cut his hair short and
started the habit of wearing sunglasses.
Icons: pictures taken from Yoshiki's house in LA: his front door, piano in the middle room, dining room and swimming pool.
Etc: I can write essays on Yoshiki, but let's just keep it simple and straightforward: YOSHIKI IS MY HERO AND IDOL!
